Some secrets have a way of coming back and haunting us, no matter how much we try to bury them.

Chelsea
Coming back home was supposed to be normal.
Not that my life had ever been normal, but it was getting there.
Then I opened the door and found a man—broken, bloodied, and fighting for his life.
I don’t know why, but I said I would take care of him. I had to. Needed to.
He was a mystery, showing up from out of nowhere. But he might have already stolen my heart.

Mayson Carey
The only thing I have ever wanted in my entire life was to forget who I was. Joining the military helped me do this.
Keep your head down and glide through life was my new motto. No strings, no relationships. Nothing.
Everything was working until a knock at the door had me face-to-face with the reason I was running.
So I ran—I fell into her arms, and she fell into my heart, but I know better than to think it’ll last.
Some secrets have a way of coming back and haunting us, no matter how much we try to bury them.

Ahhh no, you can't just end it there like that. Seriously I feel so unresolved, and I need to be lead to a safe stopping point. Ok so maybe that's a tad bit melodramatic since we did kind of get most of the resolution we needed and obviously we are getting the next story picking up at this point but that was mean.

Ok false alarm I turned the page and the epilogues were perfect and helped me breathe through my panic. Now I'm just dying even more for the next book because that was a killer teaser for the new character.

Chelsea was such an awesome character from the first page I was rooting for her to win over Mayson. Not because he didn't want to be won over but because he was so broken by his history, he needed convincing he was worthy. But obviously Chelsea saw what we all knew and fell hard for him.

It helped that all of Mayson's reluctance was based solely on Chelsea's safety and worth and not on a single other thing. He was absolutely perfect for Chelsea and fit so well into the whole family. I loved seeing the relationship develop between them and her family's reactions. And I really loved getting more of everyone. I started this series thinking it was only a few books, but I am delighted every time new books are added.

And thankfully it isn't too long a wait for the next book, even if it will feel like forever.

4.5 beautiful stars!

Oh, what a swoonfest! A beautifully emotional love story that is sweet, sexy and full of feels, with a suspense twist, all set in a world that I love, with fantastic characters and a whole lot of heart. This is a gorgeous read!

The fifth book in the Southern series, this continues the stories of the next generation of characters, with the story of Chelsea (daughter of Beau and Savannah from Southern Storm, and sister of Ethan from Southern Sunrise).

Chelsea has just finishing her nursing studies and has returned home ready to settle into a new job, and life with her family. And then a man literally stumbles into her life. Bloody, beaten and broken, Mayson is a friend of her older brother, Ethan, and he’s in bad shape. Chelsea takes him into her home and nurses him back to health, while her brother and the other men in her life work to find the man who attacked Mayson so viciously, keeping the two of them safe while he recovers.

Mayson’s childhood was horrific, and he escaped to the military as soon as he was able. He has spent his life fighting overseas, making no connections or commitments to anybody or anything back at home. He was living quietly in a cabin in the woods until his past came storming back into his life.

Chelsea and Mayson have a bit of a history. Though they haven’t really interacted much, Chelsea has crushed on him from afar for years, and having him under her roof and in such close contact provides the perfect opportunity for those feelings to deepen, and all of their secret truths to come out.

“I have loved this man for the past fucking eight years,” she says. “Waiting, hoping that he would somehow see me as not just your little sister but a woman who wanted nothing more than for him to notice.”
“I noticed you,” I say, pushing her hair behind her ear. “I noticed you. I noticed all of you.”

OMG, this is SUCH a swoony romance! Chelsea and Mayson feel so much for each other, and though Mayson tries to keep his distance to keep Chelsea out of danger, she fiercely and proudly stands by his side, fighting for her man, and I love that!

“I won’t let you be hurt.” He swallows. “I can’t. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”
“Then stay,” I whisper…
“Chelsea, I won’t be able to survive if anything happens to you.”
“I won’t be able to survive if you leave,” I tell him honestly, and I take the biggest leap of my life. I bend down and whisper. “Don’t leave me.”

Chelsea blew me away in this book. She’s strong and brave, and she puts herself out there for Mayson, proudly declaring her feelings, and not backing down when he tries to withdraw from her. She fights for him, she encourages him, and she does everything she can to bring him back to life and truly start living.

“I see a man who deserves all the love in the world.” A hand comes up to cup my face. “I see a man who deserves people who stand with him and protect him.” I want to say something to her, but nothing comes out. “I see a man who deserves everything.”

Mayson is so beautifully broken and vulnerable. He’s dealt with so much in his life, and I loved watching him react to Chelsea and begin to change with her positive force in his life. He is initially so closed off, but as he comes to accept how hard he is falling, we see a completely different side to him, and he melted my heart.

“You are the most beautiful person I have ever met … From the moment I’ve seen you, you’ve been the woman I’m chasing in my dreams.”

Their love is strong, but it’s a peaceful, sweet, all-consuming kind of love, and super passionate. They have a beautiful connection, which they fully explore, and I loved seeing them embrace all of those feelings.

“I have never wanted anything in this world the way I want you … Nothing and no one.”

While Chelsea and Mayson act on everything that is happening between them, life outside of their bubble is a bit of a turbulent mess. They are in danger, and the threat is lurking closer and closer, bringing a suspense storyline which works well to bring some added emotion to the story and build excitement. I loved watching Mayson and the rest of the boys from the series (all of whom are so, so amazing) work together to figure out the threat and bring the bad guy down.

And, of course, there’s the added excitement of Chelsea and Mayson declaring their relationship to the family, and Ethan going into hilariously overprotective big brother mode.

He spots me with just a towel on. “Can you go and get dressed please” – he shuts his eyes tight – “and I’m going to pretend that my sister isn’t in the shower with you.
”I’m not in the shower.” I point at myself. “I’m out of the shower.” I point to him. “Which means I’m not in the shower with your sister.
“Thanks fuck,” he says.
“I mean, I just left her in the shower.” He groans as I walk over to my bedroom. “But I’m not in there with her now.”

I loved seeing these characters again. Natasha Madison writes family so well, and the dynamics between this group are fantastic! I’m so excited to come back to this world, and I’m hoping we get to see lots more of Quinn really soon!

This is a really beautiful book. It’s sweet and sexy with a gorgeously emotional romance, and just the right amount of drama and suspense to add depth and excitement to the story. I struggled to put this book down, and finished it with a big smile on my face, all wrapped up in a world of swoon.

“You have my heart.” He looks up at me. “For the rest of my life until my last dying breath, you have my heart.”

4.5 stars!

Okay so. Sshhh...If you're really quiet, you'll hear my swoon. Because this book was like coming home.

I don't hide the fact that the Southern series is my favourite of all of Natasha's series! I devoured the books last year and they became some of my favourite of 2020.

But this... Well this was next level.

Let me just say though...
Southern Heart is a complete STANDALONE. You CAN read this without reading the prior books in the series.
But let me warn you that once you read this one you'll want to go and read all the others prior to it! If you have read the books prior to this you're going to LOVE this one.

Anyway, as I was saying. Southern Heart was next level. It's has all the feels and heart that the series has had so far but with more passion, more intensity, more action and more heat. Everything about it was just MORE.

Chelsea and Mayson have an instant connection that jumps off the page, even during some very intense moments. You can feel their pull and connect to their history. Mayson is swoon-tastic, so damn sinful and charming and lethal and just YUMMY. Chelsea is a spitfire, I absolutely love her!

Not gonna lie, I cursed Natasha HEAVILY reading this book. At times my heart was galloping in my chest and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. The last couple of chapters prior to the epilogue almost had me holding my breath. As I've said, this book was super intense but I relished in every second of it!

I'm so freaking excited to see what happens within this series next! I actually never want it to end. Looking at you Madison!

Southern Heart is a must read of 2021. Don't miss it.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Southern Heart by Natasha Madison is the fifth book in the Southern series. It continues the story of the next generation of characters. This is Chelsea’s story. The daughter of Beau and Savannah, whose story we got in Southern Storm. The stories stand on their own, however, reading the previous books is highly recommended.

Secrets were the integral theme throughout the previous books in the series, and Southern Heart was no different.

Chelsea, a recent graduate of nursing school, returned home with plans to spend time with her family prior to taking up her duties as a nurse. One stormy night while babysitting her niece and nephew at her brother’s home, an injured stranger appeared on the doorstep. She would soon discover he was no stranger, but her brother’s friend Mayson. This was the same friend she had been crushing on since the first time she met him. Chelsea nursed him at her home while the men in family worked to find the person responsible before he could return to finish what he started.

Mayson had a terrible childhood. He got away and joined the military, leaving his terrible past behind him, or so he thought. Eight years later, his past has come back to haunt him with a vengeance.

What a story. I love the romance which developed between Mayson and Chelsea. Sweet, slow burn and filled with passion. They impressed me as individuals. Chelsea’s sass, strength and bravery leapt off the pages. However, there was a moment in the story where she senselessly placed herself in harm’s way. Mayson has been through so much and feels he has nothing to offer Chelsea and will sacrifice his happiness for her safety. Chelsea’s determination and love wore him down. I enjoyed how he flourished from her love. They made an awesome couple and I could not help but root for them.

The threat of danger added an element of suspense to the story. I feared for them with each page turn, hoping the danger would be eliminated before it caught up with them. I waited with bated breath for it to be over.

It’s always fun catching up with characters from the previous books in a series, and the experience with Southern Heart was no different. The camaraderie and the interactions added an element of fun to this swoon worthy romance.

I cannot say it enough, I enjoyed the story from start to finish. Readers looking for swoon worthy romance featuring a strong heroine and a heart melting hero, then Southern Heart will make a great addition to your library.

Do you know what I really think about this series? It's that it just keeps on getting better and better! And oh my, do I fell in love with Mayson and Chelsea's story! Right from the start, I know it was going to be extraordinary and heartbreaking. And did my heart broke for Mayson!

Although it was hard to read what he went through, I just knew he is going to come through the other side and with Chelsea beside him. I loved how they found themselves together. Their connection was so strong you could feel it. Their story is so addictive and all-consuming. There was nothing that could keep my attention away.

I have loved every book in this series but this one was pure perfection.

My Rating: 3 stars
Genre Romantic Suspense

While I absolutely love Natasha Madison’s books this one just wasn’t my favorite. I think it felt a little to rushed for a book that had characters dealing with some pretty awful stuff. Don’t get me wrong, the book isn’t bad, and I enjoyed reading it (in one sitting), but I felt like everything happened way too fast! For me, it would have felt more suspenseful if the author took her time and given the characters more backstory. I also would have liked a little more angst towards the end when everything got hairy.

Even though this wasn’t my favorite read from Natasha, I would still recommend it especially if you’ve been following along in the series like I have. The ending of this one has me really intrigued for the next book and I’m really excited for it’s release!

I hate to say this but this is BORING af.
Hero cried 😢
Heroine cried 😭
Everyone cried 🤧
EXCEPT ME...that’s because I’m a cold-heart asshole so ... whatever 🤷‍♂️
And I don’t buy their HEA.

First 20% into the book is hero’s sob story which is dragging out.
Zero chemistry. ZERO. I can’t feel chemistry between H and h even I tried.
Drama out-weighted romance.
Hero’s reason to push heroine away for 8 YEARS is not enough.
Heroine chased hero like a loser.
Did I mention they both cried a lot ?
Rushed ending then *BAM* epilogue.

But well 🤷‍♂️ other readers like this so maybe it’s just me.

Safety :
She’s a virgin. H celibate for 8 years.
No OP after meeting. Both pining after each other (stupid).
No OW drama. There was OM drama.
Push/pull : H push h away 70% of the book. h is main pursuit of relationship.
Triggers : violences, blood, abuse scenes.
HEA : HEA.

Southern Heart is a crazy good addition to the Southern Series.

This book brings us the story of Chelsea and Mayson. It starts off with a bang and I was instantly hooked into needing to know what was going to happen. This romantic suspense book holds all the intrigue and steamy moments we could hope for. I have loved all the books so far in this series and this is definitely one that needs to be read!

I feel like this series just gets better with each book!!! This book is truly suspenseful. There is some graphic action in this story that kept me a bit tense throughout the book. This book also made me cry which I was a little caught off guard by.

Natasha Madison is an author that I will always be drawn to.

I couldn’t believe this book was about Chelsea who is now grown. She is the daughter of Savannah and Beau from SOUTHERN STORM AND Ethan’s sister from SOUTHERN SUNRISE.

Chelsea was bold and sassy in Southern Sunrise and now that she is a grown woman she is gutsy, gorgeous & intelligent. She just finished her nursing degree and is ready to start her career.

She’s spending the evening at her brother’s house babysitting when she opens the door to a bloody beaten Mayson who tumbles onto the foyer floor.

This is the beginning of a suspense filled book about a physically & mentally tortured Mayson and a young woman who has harbored a long time crush on her brother’s friend.

4.5 Star review of Southern Heart (Southern Series #5) by Natasha Madison

I couldn’t wait to dive in Southern Heart. It was everything that I was expecting and ticked many of the boxes for me. I love small town romance, it has become one of my favourite genres to read over the last couple of years. This is Mayson and Chelsea's story and what a story it was.

There was mystery, suspense, drama, twists and turns that held me riveted as I read this book. Mayson doesn’t believe that he deserves love and happiness, even though Chelsea is determined to show him that he does.

This book was full of emotion and had me pulled in different directions at times. The chemistry between them was hard to ignore and it was heart warming to watch their relationship unfold.

Southern Heart is a story that will draw you in as you cannot help but be invested in the story that Ms.Madison wove.

Southern Heart is book #5 in Natasha Madison’s Southern Series, and while it can be read as standalone, if you are a series reader I HIGHLY recommend reading the previous books in the series first.

This book blew me away. It is an intense, edge of your seat suspenseful romance that I could not put down from beginning to end.

Chelsea, sister to Ethan, from Southern Sunrise has just returned home from college with her nursing degree. Mayson is on the run. He literally falls at Chelsea’s feet banged and battered from fighting for his life. As he divulges all that he endured, it tore my heart open. BUT leave it to Natasha Madison to tear at my heart and slowly put it back together with this beautifully tortured man.

Chelsea is an incredible woman. Smart, sassy and strong. She is also fearless and brave as she helps Mayson in his recovery. The two together have their battle wounds but through trust, love, family and friendship they endure it all and come out stronger together. Mayson doesn’t feel he deserves a woman like Chelsea and Chelsea refused to give up on him.

I loved revisiting this series, and am eager for Quinn and Willow’s story next in Southern Heat.

Natasha Madison does it again! She keeps topping herself and I’m loving what she continues to give us. I thought my heart couldn’t love anymore and then appears Mayson Carey!!

Chelsea was happy to be back home near her family after getting the nursing degree. Seeing her interaction with her family had me smiling. I knew that they were happy to have her there with them as well. Right from the beginning I knew Mayson was a mystery. The flashbacks gave me some clues but darn it, it was not enough. Mayson just wanted to forget where he came from and once you read, you’ll see why. I know for a fact that Chelsea & Mayson were to a degree where thankful to that one fateful night that brough them into each other’s lives.

Southern Heart is by far my favorite read! Two people brough together to heal each and save each other. I won’t give much more away because I want you to feel all the emotions I felt so be prepared!! Kara~ 5 Breathtaking Stars

Let me tell you one thing…. Southern Heart was emotionally tense!
I absolutely cannot get over Chelsea and Mayson’s story. It was so beautifully written and had me from the first few lines.

As always I found myself enjoying Natasha Madison’s writing and characters.
When Chelsea came back home, she knew deep down that nursing Mayson back to health meant more. Mayson is not your classic male heroe… of course not , not with Natasha Madison. She writes with such page-turning ease, you can easily lose yourself in her world for days and she gives you all the feels.

The angst… she broke my heart and then put it back together again.. the way Nathasha Madison can make you feel so many different things through out her book shows just what a talented author she is.

Secrets, lies, drama, passion and hot sex!! Southern Heart has it all!

When it comes to epic, angsty and captivating novels, Natasha Madison is up there with the best.

It's lovely to visit this 'Southern' series once again to catch up with the next generation of those, not necessarily, looking for their one true love.

Natasha Madison is 'the bomb' at writing tortured heroes and there is none more so than Mayson Carey!

Chelsea, the daughter of Savannah and Beau has come home after having been away for school and is needed to nurse Mayson back to health after significant injury.

Natasha Madison's heroes wouldn't be quite as tortured if they didn't have an epic story to tell and with Southern Heart, and Mayson, you won't be disappointed!

This addition to the series will melt your heart and stir your rage to epic proportions with a dusting of fear mixed in, you know, in case you weren't really paying attention...

However, this story is weaved so well there is no question of your attention wavering though, so fear not.

In the style that we've come to expect from this author, the next book and reader's curiosity will be on high alert of what's to come! I for one, can't wait!

Another fantastic addition to the Southern series!! Continuing on into the next generation, we meet Chelsea, Beau and Savannah's daughter. She is a great heroine who is independent, knows what she wants, but is also very there for her family. We meet our hero, Mayson at a very rough time in his life....to put it mildly lol. He's ex military, friend of brother Ethan, you know there's drama right there. But overall the story was full of great character chemistry. There was a lot of emotion and back and forth between our main characters. It brought action, suspense, steam, and family sweetness. And although there's a very happy ending.... lots of suspense for the next one.

 Intense
 Emotional
 Sexy

From the very beginning I knew this was going to be action packed. It was heart pumping and emotional and it was the perfect kind if romance I live for. I loved the chemistry, the slow burn sexiness and the connection these characters had. It was intense at times and I didn't want it any other way.

This story pulled on those heartstrings and gave you all the feels. You’ll learn that family is thicker than blood and in this small town they protect their own.

I absolutely love this series and each book gets better than the last. I can’t wait for more from Natasha.

urgh...
I just hate when I dislike the story of an author whose books I usually like... :/

I guess it's probably, well most definitely - a "me" problem BUT I just can't seem to set the right pace with the Southern series...from the very first book I have read from this series, it all just seemed - off...

I dunno, maybe it's really just me, casue I don't dig this "southern" mentality BUT I also think that it really shouldn't matter whatsoever...and the fact that I simply didn't like the characters enough cause there's a certain pattern this author follows (which worked so well so far in her previous books), here, it all just feels too mellow at times, then just too pathetic, and then just too macho...it's all just that - "too much" and not enough balance...

so there...

This was a Natasha Madison book par excellance. the women are always teary and crying, though fierce and strong. The boys are all alphas, destroying the sextoys and beeing possessive. There is a huge cliffhanger but we can see the HEA in the epilogues. There are huge speeches about love and longing and desire and dreams.

In real life I would totally detest this possessivness and the always crying women, but somehow I really like Natasha Madisons writing style and I appreciate her storytelling.

I am such a fan of Natasha Madison’s books and Southern Heart did not disappoint. It grabbed me from the beginning and I devoured it from first page to the last.
I just fell in love with Chelsea and Mayson. Chelsea is loving, caring and independent. Mayson has poor self-esteem, grew up not knowing what love was and doesn’t think he is worthy of being loved. Chelsea has always had a crush on Mayson, and thought her feelings were unrequited. Together they discover sometimes you just can’t help who you love and when you know you know!
Mayson comes from an abusive home life, and has experienced first hand loss, and being on your own. Chelsea has an amazing family. Together they have great chemistry, and she helps him to heal in more ways than one, on the outside but also on the inside. They are one of my favorite couples.
This has been such an amazing series, with deep characters having to overcome their past. Southern Heart has all that and more. It was truly addicting. I couldn’t put it down. Natasha’s writing, her characters and stories keep me coming back. She is my go to author to just get lost in her world. This is a definite read that you must one click today!

Southern Heart is the most aptly named book because this book is all heart, the people we carry in our hearts, grandparents, parents, siblings, and especially that person that burrows deep inside your heart so profoundly that even years apart doesn’t diminish the intensity in how that person can make your heart beat faster with a simple glance.

Chelsea moved back home after receiving a degree in nursing. She’s sassy, stubborn, and all heart. I feel like her becoming a nurse was kismet. She's a natural caregiver and I honestly adored everything about her character.

Mayson stole a piece of my heart the very second he enters the story. To say he’s had it rough would be a gross understatement. He may have distanced himself from people in the past but when he showed up in town with Ethan he became an intricate part of this family I love so dearly. He’s more than he believes himself to be and Chelsea is just the woman to make him see that his heart is ready to love, and to be loved.

The chemistry between Chelsea and Mayson is palpable every page gives you the feeling that their hearts are so ornately connected that one’s heartbeat gains strength from the other and when one is weak the other will work twice as hard until they are once again beating in unison.

Southern Heart immediately pulls you back into The Southern world that Natasha Madison has created, it feels like a visit with family. Beautifully written, a riveting blend of exhilarating chemistry, everything from heartwarming to heartbreaking feels, spine-tingling suspense, meddlesome family members that lighten the heaviness with witty banter, and a whole lot of heart.

Having devoured this series from the start, I was thrilled to find out it was going to continue. Moving forward in time, we are now getting the stories of the next generation! We still get all the Authors swoony emotional feels plus a little suspense!

Chelsea (Daughter of Beau and Savannah) has just graduated Nursing School and returned home. Her new skills are tested immediately, as Mayson shows up on her brother's doorstep in horrible shape. Mayson and Chelsea have a history, her crush on him as a young girl. He was her brothers best friend; they served together and much too old. Now she needs to heal him and show him the good in his life.

I am looking forward to the next book as we get a tease at the end!

I received an advanced copy from the Author; this is my voluntary review.

Mason probably has one of the most difficult upbringings compared to the other characters we've read about in the series so far. He has a horrendous encounter with his father who he never thought he would see again and that leads him to showing up on Chelsea's doorstep bloody and beaten. Chelsea never expected to see Mason again and definitely not in the state he's currently in. Thankfully she's the right woman for the job since she's just passed her nursing degree and knows exactly what Mawson needs.

Natasha has written a steamy romance with a tragic story. Southern Heart brings a chill factor to it when it comes to Mason's father. He's definitely not the finest character. Mason protects Chelsea with all his being even when she wants to understand what's going on but as per usual fashion, the men in this family are alpha holes through and through.

Southern Heart by Natasha Madison is part of the Southern series and gives us Mayson and Chelsea’s story and let me tell you, it starts out with a bang and never lets you go! Chelsea is back home and could not be more excited. All Mayson ever wanted was to live his life in peace, but instead always found himself looking over his shoulder. He had secrets that could cost him everything and the last thing he wanted was to put anyone he cared about in harm’s way. But life has a way of going wrong no matter how prepared you are. Now he is hurt and broken and Chelsea could just be what he needs to heal. But at what cost?

Mayson was so caring and protective, even with everything he has been through. I loved him, even as my heart broke for him. Chelsea was sweet, likable and compassionate. They have always been driven to each other, but Mayson knew Chelsea deserves better. But after he is hurt, she nurses him back to health and they find it harder to deny the connection they have. I loved their journey so much. It was sweet, a bit suspenseful and captivating.

Southern Heart reeled me in and kept me glued to my kindle as I gobbled every single word. This series is one of my favorites and book 5, did not disappoint. The book starts off with a bang and ends with a sigh.

Chelsea and Mayson are amazing. She’s headstrong and determined. She’s also loving, devoted and loyal. He’s broken and in desperate need of love and she’s more than ready to give him everything.

I loved that Chelsea was such a strong heroine and that she new her heart and fought for what she wanted. Beautifully broken Mayson, did not stand a chance. His feelings for Chelsea were always overwhelming but now that he’s gotten a taste of her goodness, he will never be the same.

Southern Heart was a fantastic read in one sitting romance that will make you feel everything - the good, the bad and the ugly, but in the end love and sunshine will prevail. TBR and Enjoy.

This was a wonderful read that I couldn't put down once I started! Natasha has a way of drawing you in to the world she's created and Southern Heart is no different.

Doing what she does best, Natasha brings us the "next generation" of stories. I love the brother's best friend trope - the push and pull, the internal fight, the 'will they, won't they?' of it all.

Then there's the troubled soul with a dark past that is Mayson. Perfect for the nurse and fixer, Chelsea. With drama galore, you are in for a treat with Southern Heart!

Absolutely love this book! It’s such a beautiful and tragic book but it was so good!! The only thing I didn’t like was the reason she left like she should have known better but that’s just me being picky lol

Southern Heart kicks off the next round of books in the southern series by Natasha Madison, and now we get the next generation!

This story follows Chelsea (Beau and Savannah’s daughter) and Mayson, and what’s story it is! Packed full of suspense, twists and turns and a whole lot of emotion, this book will keep you on your toes from start to finish!

When Chelsea moves back home to start her new job, she is looking forward to a couple of quiet weeks with the family. But all that disappears when one stormy night, a knock on the door changes EVERYTHING.

Mayson has been in the military for 8 years, going on tour after tour, keeping himself to himself in order to shake off his past. But his solitude life comes crashing down around him when his past catches up with him. Not knowing where else to go, he turns to his old military pal Ethan for help. What follows will change the course of both his and Chelsea’s lives forever. But when all is said and done, will he win her Southern Heart?

These two gave me life from the start. Chelsea is one hell of a strong willed, hard headed bad ass with a soft heart and a long standing crush on Mayson. I absolutely loved how she commanded the room each time the men tried to talk her down, she’s an independent woman who knows her own mind! My heart shattered for Mayson and everything he had endured. He wanted to be strong for her but she made him see that if he opened his heart he would finally see the beauty in life rather than the pain of his past. The two of them together just lit me up from the inside and I loved them both so hard!

This gorgeous southern family warm my heart so much, I loved reading about how far they had all come while seeing the kids from the first 4 books all grown up.

If you haven’t read the previous 4 books I would recommend it before reading Southern Heart as the characters all interconnect and you’ll have a better understanding of the story.

Absolutely loved this book and already can’t wIt for Quinn’s book!

5 big shiny stars!!!

First off, how do you end a book like that? Natasha Madison ended this book in a way I never saw coming from her. She never does this to us.

Southern Hearts is Chelsea and Mayson's story and man does this book feel like Madison took it to a different level. I can never put down a Natasha Madison book and Southern Heart was no different. I was hooked from the first page and could not have put this book down if someone offered to pay me. Souther Hearts is the perfect example as to why I don't even look at a blurb from Madison I just buy. It doesn't matter what it is, it'll be amazing.

Chelsea is the kind of heroine I love and Madison is amazing at writing. She's smart, fierce, strong, and independent. Mayson is on the run. He is from an abusive home. His father is a terrible person. My heart broke for him. This book literally starts with Mayson falling on the floor in front of Chelsea. Little did either of them know he would do it again willingly. Their first meeting may have been a little crazy but it doesn't stop the connection and chemistry they have from building. Both have been in love with each other for as long as they can remember and done nothing about it, thinking the other didn't feel the same.

Madison proves that sometimes we don't get to pick who we fall in love with our hearts do it for us. Mayson and Chelsea overcome their past and build this relationship that was just amazing. Sometimes the one that gets away comes back and you can't let them slip away a second time. While their story is a little unconventional it's really perfect for them.

Southern Hearts is another amazing book in the Southern Series! Madison has a way with words that just makes me feel all the things. I love that she ties in each book and the characters so we always get more of the characters we have grown to love.

Southern Hearts is another must read from Natasha Madison!
