Hotels

There are a couple of nice hotels in Lake Bohinj area that we can highly recommend. Apart from the Sunrose 7 - Heritage Boutique Hotel, Bohinj ECO Hotel comes highly regarded among guests with children, as hotel includes swimming pools and water slides of Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj. Another great choice further up the valley is Hotel Jezero and small but nice Hotel Majerca.

Camping

Camping at Lake Bohinj is only available in dedicated campsites. There are two campsites in Lake Bohinj area. Our recommendation goes for Kamp Danica for being very neat, very well up-kept and clean, with nice location in Bohinjska Bistrica next to the river.

Camp Zlatorog is located next the the Lake Bohinj itself, but is somewhat more shaded and has a more of a “pristine wild feel”.
