It’s hard to know what those four countries have in common. Anybody have any ideas?
“Fight against those do not believe in Allah or the last day, and do not forbid what Allah and his messenger have forbidden, and do not follow the religion of truth, even if they are among the people of the book, until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.” (Qur’an 9:29)
“North African Laws Leave Christians Vulnerable,” International Christian Concern, March 27, 2021:
03/27/2021 North Africa (International Christian Concern) – Ten years after the Arab Spring, minorities in North African countries continue to experience religious persecution and oppression. According to independent research by an Egyptian, religious minorities Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco suffer from harsh and disproportionate laws….
Contempt of religion laws in North Africa typically safeguard Islam. Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria all have blasphemy articles within their penal codes. Though Tunisia does not specifically site insulting Islam in its laws, articles outlining offenses against good morals are often utilized as essentially blasphemy laws, only protecting Islamic beliefs.
As a result of these criminal articles, Christians face prison sentences, fines, and day-to-day discrimination for their faith. In Tunisia, Christians have been interrogated for having public religious conversations and even foreign missionaries were arrested. According to a second report completed by the Attalaki Association, Christians are typically perceived as second-class citizens and particularly feel vulnerable due to the lack of protection for freedom of religion. Christians experience hate speech, community violence, and extremism. Without the necessary legal protection, Christians are exposed to marginalization.

The cynic in me says that these “racist” laws are used mostly to keep the extremely Islamic Muslims in those countries less likely to engage in civil war by making the persecution and sacrifice of Christians something that is certain, which in turn puts a smile on the face of otherwise pissed off Islamists.

Christians walk in the “Way” Jesus set for them. Jesus Christ stated more than once that He was “hated by the world,” and that because of Him and because of His “name,” Christians would be “hated by the world.” “The world has hated me,” He said, and “Oh this account, the world hates you,” speaking of those who choose to follow Him.
Many people “hate Christians” without taking physical actions against them. Many people “hate Christians,” and may say vile things, mock and verbally abuse them, often.
mozlums daily …every time they “prey,”,,, verbally abuse Christians and every day, in some place in the earth, mozlums are murdering Christians, burning their Bibles and destroying their homes and churches…because mozlums are a part of the “world” that hates Jesus Christ and His followers.
And because their book of evil filth commands them to rape and murder Christians…promising a “reward” for doing this. That “promise” is empty and there is no “reward,” because satan the devil is the lying demon snake who made the fake promise and cannot deliver on a reward.
However, Jesus Christ made promises too. He promised that He would come “in a flaming fire to carry out vengeance” against all who hurt His children (He’s the Eternal Father of Christians) and He has “promised” that these evil ones, the persecutors, the murderers, will not escape due punishment. And He has the necessary power and authority to keep His promises.

The same thing could happen to Western countries once the Muslim immigrants/ refugees have outbred non-Muslims, and have the vote, but they’ll be a lot of dead people on both sides.

Now that the USA has a government that would like to offer Christians the choice of either celebrate abortion and LGBTQWXYZ or else, the Islamic world show the true nature of its supposed “tolerance”.
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
Any Quran 9:29 exegetes out there? I have a question I have been wondering about.
I do not pay the jizya with willing submission and do not feel myself subdued, but I am wondering whether Quran 9:29 obeyers should fight against me. As background information, [1] I do not believe in Allah; [2] I do not believe in the last day (because I do not know what this “last day” is); [3] I do not forbid what Allah and his messenger have forbidden (I’m pretty laissez-faire), and [4] I do not follow the religion of truth (or any other religion).
All four of these conditions must be met (“and”, not “or”) for me to be a target of fighting. But if I find out what this “last day” is (last day of *what*?), maybe I’ll believe in it and be saved from being fought against. Fortunately, the Quran assures us that it makes all things clear.. I don’t want to trust any random taqiyya-prone Muslim for this information; I want the straight poop from the very author of the Quran. Where in the Quran is “the last day” defined; please cite chapter and verse.

You would definitely be a target, Mark.

All Mediterranean countries, as the EU might say? Incidentally, how did Libya not make the list: civil war prevented them from coming out w/ similar measures?

Christians are also persecuted in Libya:

…………….
And these are supposed to be “moderate” Muslim nations.
But there is nothing as Islamic as presecuting Christians.
