COLTON

She's all wrong for him.

So why can't he stop thinking about her?

Colton Green knows exactly what he's going to do with his life. He’ll run the Red Widow Bourbon factory—a business that’s been in his family for generations—build a beautiful home, marry a nice country girl, and start a family.

Then he meets Grace Baker, and all his plans go out the window. She's the last woman he should want: a big-city lawyer who's accepted a case against his best friend. There's no reason to think she plans to stay in Elm Ridge, let alone that she wants to settle down with the likes of him. Still, he's drawn to her like he's never been to anyone.

Grace Baker is trying to put her life back together after the disastrous end of her marriage. She needs to heal, not fall headlong into a new relationship. Colton may be easy on the eyes, but the last thing she's looking for is romance.

Besides, Grace knows she's a bad bet all around. A close-knit family like the Greens is something she's never experienced, and she doesn't belong in their world ... no matter how much it makes her heart yearn.

Can Colton put aside his preconceptions for the woman who just might be perfect for him? And can Grace let herself believe she's worthy of real love?

JAXON

She's his little sister's best friend. Completely off limits. And now they're working together.

Jaxon Green's plans to offer a summer camp for kids at his thoroughbred training facility get derailed when his cook walks out a few days before camp begins. There's only one person available to help on such short notice: Willow Daniels, his little sister's college roommate and best friend.

The problem is, Jaxon's feelings for Willow are anything but brotherly. How is he supposed to resist her, when they're going to be working side by side for weeks?

Willow Daniels loves the Green family -- all of them. They've always been so kind to her. No one, not even her best friend Sophia, knows that Jaxon is Willow's secret crush, the only man who makes her heart beat faster. She has to keep him in the friend zone, or risk losing the Greens' esteem.

Will a rival for Willow's attention force Jaxon to make a move? And if he does, will Willow let him into her heart?

BRAXTON

He can't help falling for her ... but that doesn't mean he can trust her.

If there is such a thing as love at first sight, that's what Braxton Green feels the first time he lays eyes on Taylor Aaronson. Too bad her arrival in Elm Ridge sets off so many alarm bells.

Etta, Taylor's grandmother, has been all alone since her husband died. As her neighbor, Braxton feels compelled to protect the elderly woman from anyone who would take advantage ... even her beautiful, charming, long-lost granddaughter.

Taylor Aaronson never got the chance to know her father, so she's thankful that her grandma Etta welcomes her with open arms. So does most of the town ... except for Braxton Green.

She can't deny the attraction that flares every time the handsome veterinarian is around, even as she wonders why he's gotten so cozy with her grandmother. The news that he's offered to buy Etta’s best mare only deepens Taylor's suspicions.

Can the two people who care the most about Etta's well-being put aside their mutual distrust long enough to see the truth about each other?

Colton This may be my first book by Olivia Sands, but it definitely won’t be my last. I loved the start to the Kentucky Green series and I can’t wait to read more. This series being set in my home state is just icing on the cake, lol. Colton and Grace meet and they are attracted to each other, but things aren’t what they seem. She thinks they’re getting close and he pulls back or he thinks they are and she pulls back. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say if you’re looking for a small town romance series with wonderful characters, then you will definitely love this new series. Jaxon I just can’t get enough of these books from Olivia Sands about the Green family. Jaxon and Willow have been in love with each other for years, but Jaxon considers her off-limits. She’s Sophia’s, his sister’s, best friend and now she’s his employee. This book will have you rooting for a happy ending, so grab your copy and get ready to fall in love with the residents of Elm Ridge, Kentucky. Although, there’s a tough subject in this book, I loved how this author handled it. Braxton This is another great addition to the Kentucky Green series. Taylor comes to Elm Ridge to get to know her grandparents. She didn’t know that her grandfather had passed away about five years ago. Her grandparents regretted turning Alice, Taylor’s mom, away and Etta is so happy to see Taylor. Braxton thinks Taylor is just trying to get what she can get, lol. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say I really enjoyed this story, especially reading about the connection between Chick and Taylor.

Colton A new to me Author. The storyline has potential, there is a large cast of characters, mostly brothers and sisters, so a treasure of future books. Much of this focused on misunderstandings and although, at the beginning of the book, the decision was made to talk about these, it really did not happen until the end of the story. If you are looking for a sweet romance, with a small amount of bite, this is your book. Jaxon Second book in this series and new to me author. Very light, enjoyable read. This book could definitely be geared for younger romance readers. Very small amount of angst, mystery and with the requisite HEA. Good, light, sunshine, beach read. Braxton What girl doesn’t want her own horse? A story about putting aside hurt and misunderstandings to find acceptance and love. A very sweet, entertaining read. Not only does the girl get the horse, but finds her future. Sweet one with an HEA.

Grace was brave to leave NYC the unknown of a small town and law firm in Kentucky. Bourbon maker Colton Green was a cool character. I thought the whole process and how his great grandmother got into the business was interesting. Grace seemed like she fit right into his uncle law firm and was great with mediation cases. But she kept pushing Colton away because she thought she couldn't give him what he wanted when her two timing ex might have been the one with the problem. There were a lot of ups and downs and funny moments in this small town romance. Jaxon and Willow have been attracted to each other for years, but neither knew how the other felt. He thought she was off limits because she’s his sister Sophia’s best friend and recently his employee. I think Willow was afraid she wasn’t good enough after being put down and abused by her mother for years and making food for Jaxon’s camp that most of the kids and counselors don’t want to eat. I thought she was too rigid in her dietary restrictions until she revealed she picked it up from her mother and with the help of some awesome foster kids realized she needed to give a little. This was a sweet, funny, and emotional romance. Braxton and Taylor don’t start out on the best footing and their relationship has its rocky moments. He tries to control her by preventing her from riding the traumatized horse she inherited from her grandfather. He can’t see that she’s been working slowly to earn the horse’s trust. Taylor was immature at times, being upset when Braxton doesn’t call or visit right away and coming to assumptions about him without knowing all the facts. They both had to overcome trust issues to move forward with their relationship. I loved how passionate he was working with his animal clients and working to help save hundreds of animals from a hoarding situation. The little dog Ginger that Taylor rescues from the hoarders sounds like a sweetheart despite all she went through.
