They’re not wrong. The whole world can see that the party that rules the nation is abandoning Israel and embracing the jihad.
“Muslim Brotherhood Praises Dems for Abandoning Israel in Time of War,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, May 13, 2021:
The Muslim Brotherhood’s official online mouthpiece offered praise this week to Democratic members of Congress who are publicly criticizing Israel as it defends itself against an onslaught of terrorist rockets.
“Democratic representatives demand the protection of Palestinians from Zionist attacks,” reads a headline in Ikhwan Online, the Brotherhood’s official propaganda site. The jihadist extremist group, which is designated as a terror outfit in multiple countries, highlighted critical remarks about Israel’s defensive operations made by outspoken opponents of the Jewish state—Reps. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), Andre Carson (D., Ind.), Debbie Dingell (D., Mich.), Mark Pocan (D., Wis.), and Cori Bush (D., Mo.), as well as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.).
“A large number from the American Democratic Party urged their government to try stopping the violence of the occupation forces against the Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank,” the Arabic language article states, highlighting the support these liberal American lawmakers have among anti-Israel extremist groups in the region. The article was independently translated for the Washington Free Beacon.
“Israeli airstrikes killing civilians in Gaza is an act of terrorism,” Omar said in a statement that ignored Hamas’s repeated strikes. “Palestinians deserve protection. Unlike Israel, missile defense programs, such as Iron Dome, don’t exist to protect Palestinian civilians. It’s unconscionable to not condemn these attacks.”…
“American taxpayer money is being used to commit human rights violations,” Tlaib said in a similar statement. “Congress must condition the aid we send to Israel, and end it altogether if those conditions are not followed.”
Ocasio-Cortez joined with her fellow “squad” members to blast Israel for “inciting violence.”…
Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who also has said Israel has a right to defend itself against terrorists, could be “having trouble finding the courage to speak up against Israel’s actions and stop supporting this inhumane violence,” Tlaib tweeted.
“No mention of the al-Aqsa raid. No mention of the 13 innocent children killed in airstrikes,” Omar tweeted after the White House issued a statement on the situation. “No mention of the ongoing occupation of millions in an open air prison. You aren’t prioritizing human rights. You’re siding with an oppressive occupation.”
Mr X says
Did the 1922 mandate for palestine got expired after the UN partition plan of 1947 or is it still valid
Wellington says
Such mandate, at least de facto and almost certainly de jure as well, expired with the British exodus from said mandate in 1948—as far as I am able to determine.
Besides, such mandate was established under the League of Nations authority and the League of Nations ceased to be in 1946. The new United Nations took up the slack thereafter and hence its 1947 Partition Plan—which the Jews agreed to but the Arabs did not—in international law superseded the original British Mandate in all respects (though never mind that some 78% of the original British Mandate was sectioned off in 1921 to create Transjordan and where no Jews were allowed, even dead Jews in graves).
Just curious, but why did you ask the question you did?
Mr X says
Because the 1922 mandate for palestine gave the Jews the right to build a home for them in palestine if that is not valid then how can Israel have a legal claim in palestine. Also is the 47 plan valid considering the fact that arabs rejected the plan.
Wellington says
Because of the Balfour Declaration of 1917, to be taken into account with the Husayn-McMahon Correspondence (1915) and the Sykes-Picot Accord (1916), and also the fact that something once valid can become a validity passed on and taken up by some other “validity,” in this instance the UN by way of its 1947 Partition Plan, and which was promulgated PRECISELY because the new UN proceeded upon the assumption that the British Mandate had been valid all along. Also note that it was you who brought up the matter of “validity.” Nowhere in my original post to you did I mention the matter of “validity.” You, effectively, attributed to me something I never averred, i.e. the issue of “validity.”
Also, assuming the Jews did not have the right to build a home for themselves in Palestine, then what gave the Arabs the right to do so? Occupation by the Ottomans for centuries? The Arab conquest of Palestine in the 7th century? What about Jews living in Palestine from antiquity onwards, even in spite of the Frist and Second Jewish Revolts (66-73 AD and 132-135 AD)? Go down this path and most everyone will have to give back land to someone else.
The Jews lost some 78% of the original British Mandate of Palestine to Arabs in order to create Transjordan. Thereafter, the Jew agreed in 1947 to the remaining 22% being divided between Arab and Jewish states and with Jerusalem an international city under UN auspices. Still, this was too much for the Arabs who wanted no Jewish state at all.
I don’t really know what your overall point is. But let me ask you this directly, to wit, did the Jews not deserve any polity portion of the British Mandate?
Your turn.

Mr X’s single question has been answered here many times, including by myself. I no longer consider him an honest actor.
Note that he has never said that he has a problem with Jihadists murdering Israelis–even civilians. I very much doubt that this is an oversight on his part.
Mr X says
My point is that 1922 mandate for Palestine gives Jews right to build settlement in all of Palestine. I just wanted to know whether the 1922 mandate supersedes the un partition plan of 1947( since it was not a binding resolution and also the arabs rejected it)
gravenimage says
Mr X *still* doesn’t say he has a problem with the murder of peaceful Jews.
Infidel says
Aside from what Wellington and Gravenimage responded above, I responded to you too in the Kristallnacht in Lod thread this morning, but maybe you missed it. Here it is again – next paragraph on. And it’s high time you stopped pinning the same question in every Israel related thread
Did the Arab conquest of Palestine invalidate the previous Byzantine rule there? Or at the other end, did the Ottoman conquest of Palestine invalidate Arab rule and claims?
In other words, what’s so sacred about 1922 or 1947?
Mr X says
1922 is important because it is the only legal document which allows building of Jewish settlements in entire palestine. I just wanted to know whether the 1922 mandate is still valid today after the un partition plan and other agreements ( like the oslo accords).
Infidel says
Again, define ‘legal document’. There have been legal systems since time immemorial. What is so sacrosanct about post WWI agreements?
Infidel says
Another thing, Mr X – accords get superseded when events on the ground change. Like the Oslo accords would not be valid today due to repeated Pali violations of them. When one side violates any agreement, that agreement is dead, and doesn’t get resurrected just b’cos that side loses a war and wants to get back to the favorable terms of that agreement, as opposed to the unfavorable terms of the terms of surrender
Mr X says
Without the 1922 mandate how can Israel have claim on building settlement in judea and samaria. Also the majority of world still believe in some sort of the Oslo accords where majority part of the area c will be given to the Palestinians in a future peace deal.
Infidel says
With the exception of muslim and communist countries, no country in the world cares about what happens in the Palestinian conflict
somehistory says
Infidel,
If one reads “mr x” carefully, it is clear his English is about fourth-world…most likely mozlum from the so-called “palestinians.”
No point in answering his repeated assertion/question which isn’t really a question at all.
Mr X says
I have not said a single pro Palestine statement here.
Ecosse1314 says
Mr X You really do sound like Rancid Rod. If you have anything valid to add to the discussion the please do so.
somehistory says
According to you….Israel has no right to be building in ISRAEL per this statement above:
“Without the 1922 mandate how can Israel have claim on building settlement in judea and samaria. Also the majority of world still believe in some sort of the Oslo accords where majority part of the area c will be given to the Palestinians in a future peace deal”
And, just which “world” is this? And how do you know the “majority of world” believes that the palestinians would be “given the majority part of the area”?
This is very “pro palestinian” and no sense in denying it.
And, first ***ask**** the “majority” of the “world” you are claiming to know what they “believe” about this subject before making the claim or it’s not worth even a hill of beans.
Mr X says
The 1922 mandate was the first mandate after ww1 which gave Jews the right to build settlement in Palestine. The mandate says that Israel’s borders will be from Jordan River to Mediterranean Sea ( which includes judea and samaria). If you know any document before 1922 pls mention. The majority of world believes in a 2 state solution which means Israel has to go back to pre 67 lines and the settlement in area c have to be removed ( majority of the countries believe in this plan.) Even the USA Democrats believe this.
somehistory says
x
“majority” does not believe in a “two-state”….esp not the so-called palestinians.
People with working brains know there is no such thing as a “solution” with mozlums in control of one side of the situation. mozlums are all about lies and terror and getting their way…by whatever means they can employ.
They are not a “state” and don’t want Israel to have one…anywhere, no matter how very tiny.
The rest of the world knows that, although some pretend…for their own stupid/evil reasons… otherwise.
To you and your stupid repeating of the same boloney, I say, you know not a bit of what you pretend.
And if you are not a mozlum, you put on an Oscar performance of sounding like one. May as well get down on your dirty carpet and repeat the filth mozlums call “prayer.”

Muslims regularly used the Golan Heights as a base from which to rain missiles down on Israel.
Wellington says
Just one more example demonstrating how the Democratic Party of old is essentially no more and beyond repair.
The Democratic Party needs to go the way of the Whig Party—and I would additionally assert that whatever was wrong with the Whig Party, and which political party lasted from the 1830’s to the 1850’s, its wrongs understood in the context of that era can only redound to the credit of the Whig Party compared to the modern Democratic Party, so bad, so awful, has the modern Democratic Party become. Yes, Henry Clay and Daniel Webster stand as giants compared to Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, Hell, even compared to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer it still is no contest.
On historical grounds, moral grounds, common sense grounds and overall cognitive grounds, the modern Democratic Party has become, effectively, an enemy of America. Yeah, this bad and why the Democratic Party needs to be “only” history and no part of any future history.
Meanwhile, RINOs keep effing up the other major political party in America though hope still exists that the Republican Party—in American history the third anti-slavery party after the Liberty Party and the Free-Soil Party—will finally kick out the nothings who are RINOs, people like McConnell, Kinzinger, Cheney and Toomey. Trump showed the way and good people like Jordan, Blackburn, Nunes, Burgess Owens, Candace Owens, Hawley, DeSantis et al. continue to point the way to the best that America can be regardless of race, ethnicity or gender.
Infidel says
The best news is that the never-Trumpers are now thinking of leaving and forming their own party. Which is wonderful: it’s the Democrat vote that would be split that way, w/ some moderates moving to that party
Both Mitch and McCarthy need to be gone, and replaced. For the senate, I’d like to see Tom Cotton lead the party, and for the house, Jim Jordan. Make it a genuine America First party, so that whenever Trump or DeSantis comes, they’d be ready to execute on day 1
Wellington says
Strongly seconded—I think. RINOs need to go—preferably, let’s see here, as of yesterday.
But, Infidel, is it not arguably better that RINOs be kicked out of the Republican Party rather than the non-RINOs in the Republican Party engage in forming a new party? I am of the conviction that the Republican Party should remain but the weak-kneed RINOs be primaried out.
Your turn.
Infidel says
Wellington, I do prefer the former, but for those who’ve indicated that they won’t leave – like Liz Cheney – I do think that the 2 factions ‘America First’ and ‘Never Trumpers’ don’t belong in the same party. Either one of them has to leave. Which one, I don’t really care.
Honestly, I am no longer in favor of the 2 party system. Yeah, it’s stable, and I appreciate Tucker Carlson’s contention that he once made to Ben Shapiro that stability is an underappreciated aspect in a country like ours that’s always had it. But it has also led to not just influence peddling, but a system for special interests from Big Tech to the Military-Industrial complex to get the top leadership of both parties to buy into their wishlist, and thereby be indistinguishable no matter who comes to power. That’s why pre-Trump, both Republicans and Democrats were all in favor of us being in endless wars, even if Obama pulled us out of Iraq (one of the good things he did. It also explains how in 2016, you have 4 groups of voters – pro Trump, pro Hillary, pro Bernie and pro GOPe (maybe pro Mitch/Ryan, but which couldn’t pick any of the 8 or so establishment candidates)
We should have 4 parties – the traditional Democrats (representing the old school ones like Schumer and John Delaney types), the Islamo-Marxists (for Bernie/AOC/Ilhan/Rashida), the America-First Republicans (for Trump/DeSantis/Cotton/Hawley/Cruz/Rand) and the Neocon Republicans (Mitch/McCarthy/Cheney/Whitman/Fiorina/Romney/Paul Ryan/Chris Christie/John Bolton et al) Let them duke it out, and whoever wins the plurality of the votes becomes president
Demsci says
Infidel, good suggestion. In my Holland since this week we have a parliament with 18 parties since 1 party, FVD, split in 2 the other day.
Even if voter fraud would happen here it could not be all that game Changing.
But look at USA! Even if 44 states have exemplary voting rules, that is if the HR1 bill won’t get passed, look at the dangers of the American electoral system; the COMBINATION of only 2 parties, winners takes all AND electoral college AND elections for the presidency that we don’t have, that when 6 states have “sloppy rules” and …… REAL FRAUD, or ballot harvesting big time, those 6 states possibly could determine that the Democratic Party keeps winning the presidency. That votes In the other 44 states would be much devalued.
I hope you American Republicans somehow solve this problem before end 2024 or even 2022. For the sake of real democracy, the world and my brother and family inAmerica. Otherwise what is there except secession?! Or submission?! Yes I do think the problem is THAT serious!
Infidel says
Demsci, question about FVD which split into 2 – are both factions anti-islamic? How about Geert Wilders – is he still as anti-islamic, or has he softened? And the other 1 party of Prime Minister Mark Rutte – is it still islamopandering, or did the friction w/ Turkey some years ago awaken them?
Demsci says
Infidel, hi,
Geert Wilders never softens and is still the same. Concerning the FvD; both factions still hold on to protecting the West from Islam. But as FvD, in contrast with the PVV of Wilders, campaigned primarily on being against the Corona policies of the government, it was noticeable that they also tried to win Muslims over. And “splitter” van Haga is all about freedom from uncalled for coronameasures (in his +my view). He never talks about Islam, but Smolders, another “splitter”, was the chauffeur (driver) of Pim Fortuyn.
Mark Rutte is still the same concerning Islam too. But in his party and parliament now is the son of Afshin Ellian, Dutch pundit of Iranian descent, Both father and son are acutely aware of the danger of too much Islamic immigration and are on Israel’s side in the current crisis.
This is only a snippet of news, hope it helps.
Infidel says
Demsci, it does. Thanks for filling us in. I was worried that the anti-islamic movement in the Netherlands was coming apart as a result of the PVV splitting

Since she had that brilliant idea of minting trillion dollar coins – $1,000,000,000,000 on a coin – maybe she could toss one of those to her ‘siti’ in Gaza and try offsetting what Israel is getting?

So siding with jihadi terrorists is now totally permissible for US members of Congress???

at this point it seems to be a conditio sine qua non for making a career. But I suspect many Jewish Dem voters are starting to have questions. Questions are not allowed in Dim land and I believe Trump lanced the boil of leftardism.

How quickly they forgot the attack on NYC and the Pentagon. Israel is under attack from Muslim/islamic terrorist shooting missiles into Israel aimed at killing civilians and our democratic muslim/islamic congress persons are cheering these attacks on. Of course they do..
They are one in the same, and much more than like minded..
I can see that our own little Minnesota terrorist supporter and multi-talented Marxist crook, Ilhan Omar, and the scourge of Michigan are once again, leading the charge..
These people are political TRASH!
Omar is an embarrassment to Minnesota and Minnesotans, and to a corrupted political machine in Minnesota, which put her in this position in the first place….
