Like so many of these hollow condemnations, antisemitic attacks seem to spring out of thin air. They occur as a result of some sort of disembodied force to which we are witness, but which we are unable to name.
“We have seen a brick thrown through window of a Jewish-owned business in Manhattan, a swastika carved into the door of a synagogue in Salt Lake City, families threatened outside a restaurant in Los Angeles, and museums in Florida and Alaska, dedicated to celebrating Jewish life and culture and remembering the Holocaust, vandalized with anti-Jewish messages,” Biden says.
Bricks somehow fly on their own and swastikas carve themselves on doors.
People did these things. Some of them have been arrested. Certainly the attackers in New York and LA had things in common. Most notably they were flying PLO flags.
Biden carefully avoids mentioning that.
Only one of the paragraphs in his 2-page statement even lays out what is happening, and it actually fails to mention a single violent attack.
Muslim attacks in the last few weeks put at least two people in the hospital, one with burns and the other after a severe beating.
Biden’s statement focuses on vandalism. Only one of the incidents references any of the physical attacks and instead of describing it as an attack, Biden says merely “families threatened outside a restaurant in Los Angeles”.
People weren’t just threatened. They were assaulted. It’s on the damn video.
Biden makes no mention of any of the violent physical attacks on Jews in New York City, but finds it much more important to mention swastika vandalisms by white supremacists in Alaska and Utah. Those are legitimate issues, but when people are being violently assaulted and put in the hospital by Muslim thugs, focusing on vandalism is a clear distraction from a subject Biden doesn’t want to address.

We need to do something NOW. This Biden presidency has been reminiscent of Germany in the 30’s! We need to gather our people and DO SOMETHING! Tell us where and when. I’ll be there with other Jews.

Wellington says
Biden has done more harm to America, to liberty and to Western Civilization at large in four months than Carter did in his four years as a failed President.
Compounding all this is that at least Carter was fairly elected against Ford. By contrast, Biden is a bogus POTUS whose handlers stole the election from Trump.
Looking more and more like Athens after Pericles or 1st century BC Rome. Polybius vindicated again.
James Lincoln says
Wellington,
Yes, Carter was a failed president – no question.
But a “1977-type” Carter would still be an improvement over Sleepy Joe, and I know that’s not saying much.
Interestingly, Carter is quite intelligent. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he later served on submarines.
But he lacked the “rest of of the package” that would’ve made him an effective leader…
Wellington says
James: My very point, i.e., Biden is Carter x 10.
And yes, Carter is quite intelligent but he has no wisdom and not much common sense—a real petty streak too and without many “street smarts.” His “malaise speech” in the Summer of 1979 still stands as a testimony to these deficiencies on his part, which Ronald Reagan picked up upon right away and said to his closest advisers after this speech of Carter’s that he knew at that point that the 1980 Presidential election was one he would definitely win. 44 states for Reagan and only 6 for Carter in November of 1980 proves Reagan’s prescient assertion most definitely.
As you almost certainly know, Carter is the only Annapolis graduate to become President. West Point has the Naval Academy beat by one—Grant and Eisenhower. Being neutral on this “matter,” I only note this for the record.
James Lincoln says
Spot on, Wellington!
I had to refresh my memory regarding Carter’s 1979 “malaise speech”.
And yes, Ronald Reagan knew that he could win the US Presidency at that point…

Wellington:
Carter typifies those who display considerable intelligence, but who are astonishingly lacking in wisdom. His refusal to help the ailing and besieged reliably pro-American Shah, urging him to step down and allow the monstrous Khomeini (whom he described admiringly as a “man of God”) to take over as Iran’s leader was an avoidable disaster. And Carter’s embrace of terrorist groups like Hamas, a group which he – to this day – still believes should be a participant in a permanent negotiated peace with Israel, underscores not only a fatal inability to grasp reality but also his appalling animus toward Israel. He also has shown persistent failure to recognize the malevolent nature of other foreign governments, and has shilled for some of them over the years.
Elizabeth Thorne says
American Ambassador to Tehran, Wm Sullivan compared Khomeini to Gandhi.
Carter’s advisor, James Bill said Khomeini was a man of impeccable integrity and honesty.
LB says
That was pretty much what Trump himself recently said on his blog https://www.donaldjtrump.com
Can’t find the exact post, but it’s something along the lines of: “Comparing Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter is an insult to Jimmy Carter. He was incompetent in dealing with the crises that were already there before him, whereas Joe Biden is CREATING new crisis which were never there.”
100% true.
James Lincoln says
LB,
Pres. Trump was spot-on!
Infidel says
Wellington, you answered a question I put several threads ago – about whether or not Biden was the worst president this country has ever had, in just 4 months. Answer seems to be yes
What is worse is that Harris would be even worse, if Biden were to step down or get removed by the 25th Amendment
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
I would put Sleepy Joe near the very bottom – or actually at the bottom of all US Presidents.
That’s assuming that you can count a fraudulently elected president.
And yes, as bad as he is, Harris would be even worse…
James Sang says
The Jewish people who are being hurt have to take legal action!

An overwhelming majority of contemporary anti-Semitism is islamic anti-Semitism (and please don’t lecture me about Arabs being Semites, blah blah blah). If that is not gonna be addressed, then it’s absolutely not worth condemning any anti-Semitism
And in any case, I don’t believe Dems at all when they condemn anti-Semitism: they are morphing into an anti-Semitic party before our very eyes

Spot on, Infidel.

Well stated, Infidel.

Absolutely true.
And what’s even worse is that it’s starting become socially acceptable…

Biden Statement on Anti-Semitism Fails to Mention Violent Muslim Assaults on Jews
…………….
Just appalling–but who can really be surprised?
Roland says
Unfortunately, Democratic public officials are afraid to finger Muslims because they don’t want to get primsried by the Communists in the party AND they just don’t comprehend the seriousness of what is going on. It’s not 1970 anymore. Politicians are interested in survival, not political martyrdom.
Another problem is that the Jewish community is politically divided. Too many Jews are in denial or antagonistic or too assimilated to care. ADL, the flagship defense organization, is only interested in right wing anti-semites. It is funded by rich liberals who just don’t get it. It’s not 1970 anymore. Politicians sense the Jewish community’s confusion, take advantage of it as Obama did, or brush it off as Biden does.
Bear says
The only Jews @Joe Biden cares about are the ones who donate to the Democratic Party. If you are a Conservative or if you live in Israel, Joe roots for the Muslim terrorists. Also on Joe’s list of good guys are Hamas, PLO, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood and the so-called “Palestinians” who teach their children that Israel doesn’t exist and to kill all Jews. Biden doesn’t recognize that crimes here are hate crimes, like that outside the restaurant in LA. But that shouldn’t surprise anyone given his closeness to KKK Democrats he served with.
Walter Sieruk says
This picture of Biden and Abbas joining hand together in their insidious scheming in nothing else but a reflection of the teaching found in the Bible. Which reads “Though hand join in hand , the wicked shall not be unpunished.” Proverbs 11:21. [K.J.V.]
Andrew Blackadder says
Donald Trump did more good for the USA in a mere four years than Biden has ever done in forty years of Government service.. I guess those facts would be called racist, or something, today… But I dont give a shit, because its true.
