I loved this book, I loved the storyline, the romance, the chemistry and steaminess and so much more. 😭 You can't do this to them!!! This is one of those romances that just draws you into the story right from the opening act. No unnecessary emotional angst (the whole should I, does he, does she back and forth). Just a strong connection between the MC's, a strong supporting cast, and a story that is littered with little moments that leave a lasting impression. "I got you even when you don't have yourself " Normally insta-connection, insta-attraction is an iffy read for me. But Bri and EJ? I was a believer from that first knock (pound, knock whatever) on their door. They fit. They felt right together. Every gentle touch, every look, every response felt real. Quick clarification EJ is mine! He is the example of a perfect partner. A soft conscientious center highlighted with sharp edges. He had his flaws as we all do but the way he embraced them, owned them, even when exposing them might cause pain. *Sigh* And the easy way he loved Bri... "That once in a lifetime type of thing" "I have a funny feeling I'm always gonna need you" Bri is so unsure at times. She has always been somewhat disposable (it's hard to find the right word but you will get it when you meet her) to the people in her world. But that does not stop her from giving her all until the day she can live her dreams her way. It made me smile watching her blossom, to see her take the small steps towards happiness. This ends with a really big meanie trying to tear our newlyweds apart. But after spending time with the family and watching how protective of Bri EJ has become? I have hope. I'm not deluded enough to believe this will be easy or without cost. But together, as a united front? They will be indivisible The copy I read was unedited

This is book one in The Nashvegas series and it starts the story of EJ and Bri. EJ is the lead singer in the dock band Grey Skies and the oldest son of Harmony and Garreth who are famous in there own writes and they are all going to Vegas to watch Harmony's concert. Bri is one of the world's biggest pop stars and she is going to watch Harmony's concert in Vegas for her birthday as Harmony is one of her idol's that she looks up to. Bri has had a crush on EJ since she was seventeen as they both have the same recording company and she hopes that she sees him tonight but then after sitting with EJ and his family but after the concert life has they know will change overnight. There are so many difficult situations but you have to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and I couldn't put this book down as it was so addictive. Laramie Briscoe is an amazing author and writer and omg what a cliff hanger and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series to see what happens next. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will definitely not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an Arc copy of this book.
