Bio

Former student of the National School of Administration and the Graduate School of Public Health, David GRUSON, 41, is Director of the Health Program of the Jouve Group, specializing in digital transformation. He has held several positions of responsibility in the areas of public policy and health. He was, in particular, adviser to the Prime Minister in charge of health and autonomy (2010-2012) and director general of the University Hospital Center of La Réunion (2012-2016). He is Professor at the Sciences Po Paris Health Chair. His proposals on health AI inspired the artificial intelligence component of the revision of the bioethics law which has just been voted in Parliament. He is a member of the Task Force of the World Health Organization on the ethical regulation of AI in health.

He is the author of S.A.R.R.A. artificial intelligence, the first bioethical thriller about health AI published in June 2018 by Editions Beta Publisher and including the sequel S.A.R.R.A. an artificial consciousness released in March 2020. He also wrote The Machine, the Doctor and I, a summary work on the development of AI in health, published in November 2018 by Editions de l'Observatoire, and is co-author of Data Management in Healthcare Revolution, published in May 2019 at Editions Hospitalières.

Abstract

David GRUSON - auteur de SARRA une intelligence artificielle et SARRA une conscience artificielle - présentera une keynote sur les conditions de l'écriture de cette dystopie qualifiée de "prophétique" et "visionnaire" par la presse littéraire. "SARRA" - qui a connu un large succès en France - abordait, en effet, dès 2018 puis début 2020 sous un angle alors inédit la question du recours à l'IA face à une pandémie.
