What does this have to do with jihad? This: if Zakir Naik believes that drinking camel urine is beneficial because he believes Muhammad said so, what are the chances that he dissents from this hadith, which is a foundation for Islam’s perpetual war against non-Muslims?
“Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war…When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them…. If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them. (Sahih Muslim 4294)
Naik also likely accepts this one:
“The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.” (Sahih Muslim 6985)
Note also Muhammad’s inhuman brutality in the hadith Naik quotes.
“Camel urine is pure, can be used to treat diseases, but cannot say the same about cow urine: Zakir Naik,” OpIndia, May 22, 2021:
Islamist preacher Zakir Naik, who has been on the run from the Indian law enforcement authorities, is not new to controversies. A video of the fugitive, explaining the health benefits of camel urine in the light of Islam, has now gone viral on social media. It is ironic that while Muslims regularly use the ‘gaumutra’ (cow urine) jibe to insult Hindus, they believe that camel urine is beneficial to health.
The contentious video was uploaded on Huda TV on January 7 this year. The channel has a whopping 4.87 lac subscribers. Zakir Naik appeared in the video and answered the questions posed by three curious Muslim viewers about the health benefits of camel urine and milk in accordance with Quran. At about 4:56 minutes in the video, Naik claimed, “There are various researches which confirm that there are various benefits for the human being in drinking camel’s urine.”
To substantiate his claim, Naik drew conclusions made by an ancient Persian physician named Ibn Sina. While quoting him, the Islamic preacher, “Amongst all urines, the most beneficial is the urine of the Bedouin camels. Today, after doing laboratory tests, we have come to know that the camel’s urine contains potassium and albuminous proteins. We know it also contains traces of uric acid, sodium as well as creatin.”…
Citing one Dr. Khurshid, Zakir Naik went on to claim that camel urine contains anti-cancer properties and can be used in the treatment of cancer. The Islamic preacher urged his Muslim followers to blindly believe everything in the Quran and agree to the sayings of the Hadiths, provided they are authentic. “You can always do research later. Science is not the criteria to determine whether you should believe in the Hadith or not. If Hadith is authentic, we believe in it irrespective of whether science belives in it or not,” Naik emphasised….
Towards the end of his video, Zakir Naik quoted verse 5686 of the Hadith of Sahih-al-Bukhari. It goes as, “The climate of Medina did not suit some people, so the Prophet ordered them to follow his shepherd, i.e. his camels, and drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they followed the shepherd that is the camels and drank their milk and urine till their bodies became healthy. Then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels. When the news reached the Prophet e [sic] sent some people in their pursuit. When they were brought, he cut their hands and feet and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron”

Zakir Nalayak is wanted by Indian law enforcement agencies for charges of terrorism, money laundering (193 Carore rupees which is about 25 million USD) , and human trafficking. Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
“(193 Carore rupees which is about 25 million USD)” Is “Carore” the new spelling of “crore” (= 100 lakh = 100 * 100,000 = 10,000,000 = 10 million) ? Thus, 193 Carore = 193 * 10 million = 1930 million = 1.930 billion.

I watch a lot of shows made in Britain, with British actors, and read books written by Brits. Some of the phrases and words used are so different, from our American English, but very likeable.
I’ve been reading Lee Child. His British comes in sometimes, although he writes about a character in the U.S.

Everything about Islam is backward, ignorant, outdated bullshit, (such as marrying off really young girls, stoning people to death, trying to murder non-believers in barbaric islam, and so on,) so I’d say that something as moronically dumb as drinking camel’s piss fits right in. Imagine putting such a brain dead and evil scumbag as Muhammad up on a pedestal and trying to imitate the dope’s ideas, including drinking camel’s piss. I don’t think Muhammad ever existed anyway. It’s all one big lie, but, if he did exist, and he said to drink camel’s piss, then he was a complete idiot. Hopefully, some of the Muslims will actually follow this idea and get some killer disease from the camel’s piss.

Non-Muslims who run to the defense of endless massive Islamic immigration don’t realize what they are asking for. Apart from any benefits that may come from peaceful non-ideological Muslims, there will be more random stabbings, bombings, and other forms of jihad violence, which will increasingly frighten public debate into pro-Islamic and anti-Semitic perspectives. How will that happen? Because those who disagree will censor themselves out of fear, and the few brave enough and knowledgeable enough to stand up and be heard will be censored by big tech and other large forces. That is why a society can be Islamized over time with hardly a whimper. For most people, who pay no attention to the Islamic teachings and believe they are like those of every other faith, the process of Islamization of the society will be like euthenasia — it will happen to the society largely unnoticed, like being put to sleep.
That’s the pessimistic outlook. David Wood and the Apostate Prophet both seem to think Islam will die pretty soon because the modern world exposes Islam to relentless criticism. David has gotten numerous emails from former Muslims saying that his videos got them to abandon Islam. And David is just one of a number of Islam critics exposing Islamic teachings (which a lot of Muslims know little about).

“Islamic preacher with 487,000 YouTube followers quotes Muhammad to recommend drinking of camel urine”
It’s funny. During my morning reading I thought I’d do some catch-up on Spencer’s book The Palestinian Delusion.
I was reading Chapter Two; The Roots of the Hatred of Israel.
I’ve got a set of Sahih Al-Bukharis so I try to follow along when they’re referenced in books or articles.
So when I looked up two citations about Mo’s Night Journey and “cursing the Jews” one of them didn’t match.
Note 50 about Mo’s night journey was right on target; Volume 5, Book 63, Number 3887.
But the one about cursing the Jews; “Jews in the Hadith” on page 40 of Spencer’s book, note #5; BukhariVolume 8, Book 86, Number 437 , in my book, is about….
….drinking camel’s urine.
As some kind of medicine or cure.
The camel urine part in my Bukhari is Volume 8, Book 86, Number 6802; Bukhari Volume 8 Ahadith 5970 to 6860. A real poser.
This happens all the time. I’m wondering if Spencer, (as well as other people I’ve read citing the Bukhari), was using two sets of Bukharis.
I’m hoping Mr. Spencer won’t remember when I nagged him about the hadiths a few years ago. I guess I was a real pain in the ass.
A couple of years after that the daughter of a close friend of mine, who is Muslim, referred me to an imam in Los Angeles when I asked her about the hadiths.
He and I talked for about an hour. I’ll never forget it. It’s a little off topic but if you’re read my comments you know I am hostile in the extreme when it comes to Islam. I’ve been studying the “religion of peace” for over ten years. I’ve got whole shelves of books on every subject under the sun from Islamic history to the Islamic slave trade.
This imam was one of nicest guys I’ve ever talked to. I could have talked to him all night. He left me with the same feeling you get from a good book that hangs with you years after you’ve read it.
We both agreed that the hadiths are “a mess”. They’re not standardized like the Koran and Bible. And mine don’t have an index which really pisses me off and makes them next to useless as reference sources.
I’ve got to find out which Sahih Al-Bukharis Spencer uses. Maybe I’ll have to invest in another set of Bukharis. (I’ve got both Bukhari and Muslim on CD but they’re a pain in the ass to load up in my cranky laptop.
Oh yeah; My Bukharis are also from Darussalam. Same as Mr. Spencer’s books. And the Darussalam Koran doesn’t have an index either.
What I really want to get is the two sets of The Encyclopedia of Islam. I think by Brill. The first edition was written by Muslims with a strict sense of Islam. And the second edition was written by apologists. At least that’s what I’ve read somewhere. They cost as much as a set of Britannicas. A thousand to three thousand dollars. I’d like to get them on CD or a thumb drive. (hint-hint)
My gra’mom got me a set of Britannicas for Christmas just before she passed away. They’re one of my “prizes” in my humble library. Right next to a set of OEDs. My gra’mom was the one who passed on her love of books, reading and history to me. Books were about the only presents I got from her. Thank God. And is responsible for the political animal I am today. I was weaned on “the news” by this gra’mom who read three newspapers in the morning.
Larry A. Singleton says
Oh yeah; Another thing about those Darussalam Bukharis. They’re ass backwards. They read from right to left instead of left to right like normal books. A real pain.
gravenimage says
Larry, I was lucky enough to grow up with a set of Britannica encyclopedias, myself.
As for Hadith and the Qur’an, though, apart from a few aspects like stoning, the Qur’an is just about as violent.
Larry A. Singleton says
My main gripe is, again, that the hadiths aren’t “standardized”. They’re a mess as one imam agreed when I was talking to him. My Darussalam Bukharis have no index which makes it a real pain in the ass when trying to look up stuff.
On a personal note; I’ve been reading your comments for years here and wish I could talk to you personally. You seem to be pretty well informed on these issues. I’m just a dumb-ass construction worker who really has to work to wade through this stuff and have a hard time articulating in words what I’m thinking. Like Daniel Greenfield I notice you get right to the heart of the issues in your obviously knowledgeable comments.
Do you happen to know if Spencer is using two versions of the hadiths? That’s another of my gripes. When Spencer and others mention verses from Bukhari, some match with my Bukhari editions exactly (even the page numbers!) and some don’t. Even better; Where can I pick up a cheap set that has an index.
Thanks for responding.
gravenimage says
Hi, Larry.
Yes, the Hadith are a big mess. Cataloging even Bukhari and Muslim–the best-known collections of Hadith–is a big mess. I’m not sure there is any proper index of these things.
I usually look them up on-line–but some are very difficult to find, especially with citations of where to find them in Hadith collections. Then, page numbers are not always useful, because it depends on the edition and the language. But what else can you expect from a faith founded by an illiterate?
This is supposed to be an index–but it doesn’t have many categories useful to Anti-Jihadists, like the age of Aisha and exhortations to slaughter Infidels.
http://www.iqra.net/Hadith/index.html
Hope it’s at least a bit useful. I’m afraid I don’t know what system Robert Spencer uses to navigate the Hadiths–of course, he knows a lot of the Hadith by heart–far more than I do, I’m sure.
And thanks so much for your kind comments–they mean a lot to me. And I don’t think you are a ‘dumb-ass’ at all–anything but. I’ve enjoyed reading your comments over the years. By the way, my father and one of my brothers are both construction contractors, so right up my alley. 🙂
