This article says that this jihadi was “radicalized” by jihad victimhood propaganda regarding Kashmir, but it doesn’t explain how he got the idea that his desire to do violence had to do with his religion. Has anyone investigated what his mosque teaches? Why not?
“Wannabe jihadi googled ‘how to join ISIS,'” by Georgie Moore, Australian Associated Press, June 10, 2021:
A used car salesman has admitted preparing to travel to Kashmir to engage in hostile activity.
“How to join ISIS” and “what part of Yemen is ISIS in” are some of the things Khaled Temssah wanted to know while organising to buy an AK-47 through undercover police.
The Melbourne used car salesman now says he was radicalised through charity work after being exposed to the suffering of women and children in Kashmir.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty in Victoria’s County Court on Thursday to once count of preparing in June 2019 to travel to the contested Kashmir region to engage in hostile activity.
He told an undercover operative posting as an extremist on Wickr he wanted to join ISIS to “fight the idol worshipper tyrant”.
“I love Allah. I want to be in paradise and the best thing I can do for my family is to die a martyr,” Temssah said.
He met another undercover officer at a service station and handed over $880 for what he thought was an AK-47 and travel costs.
He also googled “how to join ISIS” and “what part of Yemen is ISIS in”….
He downloaded a document that advised him, if questioned or caught, to say he was simply moved by videos of people suffering abroad and wanted to help.
In court, Temssah said he became radicalised through his involvement in charity projects, initially Melbourne-based and then focused overseas.
“I felt really sad and upset that this was happening in Kashmir,” he said.
“I felt obliged to go out of my way to make those people’s lives as easy as possible.”
He watched videos including of beheadings and Osama bin Laden speeches.
Temssah also booked a flight to and a hotel in New Delhi and told the undercover officer it was a ruse.
But in court, he said he’d been lying to impress the man.
He added he’d changed his tune since his arrest and now considered ISIS as having “an evil agenda to push”.
“I’ve actually got homosexual friends in prison,” he said….
serialthinker2003 says
so sad that he lied about befriending homosexuals, I hope he’s not radicalized .. and he means that from his heart, and we all humans consider Kashmiri cause very urgent and they need international help …
just don’t leave space to hate
BlackSabbath says
What cause? How urgent?
gravenimage says
serialthinker, how is wanting to join ISIS and murder “idol worshippers” *not* “radicalized”? Nothing “moderate” about listening to Osama bin Laden, either.
Then, the situation in Kashmir is a Jihad against India. I’d like to see this end–but somehow I don’t think that’s what you have in mind…
Opposing Jihad terror is *not* hate.
Keith O says
+1
gravenimage says
Thank you, Keith.
jewdog says
ISIS is located in Yemen’s cloaca. You can get there by booking with the Enema to Yemena travel agency. Say, would you buy a used jihad from this guy?
Infidel says
jewdog, last I looked, neither New Delhi nor Kashmir are anywhere near Yemen. Was this guy running away from Janice, from Friends, like Chandler was? ?
gravenimage says
Good point, Infidel. This fool is either confusing his Jihads–there are so many–or he is lying.
Keith O says
GI, Little bit from column A, little bit from column B.
Probably doesn’t help that his family tree is a straight line.
gravenimage says
Could be, Keith.
Raja says
Does this man have any brain at all? If he believes Koran/Hadith etc to be true, why he wants to assume that his family too would be taken care if ? Since when Islam promises 72 bosomy virgin girls, pearly boys to muslimas and rest of the family members in the after life?
This kind of mental disease is rampant among Leftists and fanatics of Islam.
Keith O says
Raja, This clowns biggest problem is not enough chlorine in his gene pool.
That and being brainwashed from birth as part of his mudslime indoctrination.
And, quite frankly, I wish all jihadists were this intelligent, it would make the job of the civilised world that much easier.
Infidel says
If he was researching which part of Yemen ISIS is in, why did he book a flight to New Delhi? He should have booked his flight to Aden
Also, please tell me that the Indian High Commission wasn’t stupid enough to issue him a visa?
BlackSabbath says
Delhi’s Chief Minister is a good-for-nothing jihadi sus, named Kejriwal. He would have provided red carpet for Khaled Temssah.
Infidel says
Yeah, but Chief Ministers don’t issue visas: the Indian government does. It would have been up to the Indian high commission in Canberra or Melbourne to issue that
gravenimage says
Good question, Infidel.
Are the “idol worshippers” Hindus? Or just non-Muslims or lax Muslims in general? Hard to tell.
Infidel says
They do consider shi’a – whether it’s Twelver or Zaidi or Alawite – ‘idol worshipers’. Of course, Hindus as well. But you’re right – he may have had multiple jihads in mind
James Lincoln says
So, according to the feature article, Temssah said:
“…the best thing I can do for my family is to die a martyr…”
Die, yes.
Die, while becoming a martyr, no…
gravenimage says
Yes–these are two different things, James. Only Muslims consider murdering other people to be “martyrdom”.
Walter Sieruk says
That deluded and dangerous jihad-minded Muslim actually said that he wants “to die a martyr.” The fool statement is a reflection of the empty words of the Muslim clerics who beguile younger Muslims with false Qu ‘ran based promises of a paradise with may virgins in it the the jihadist who dies in a Islamic terror attack , which in reality he is not a real martyr but a brainwashed stooge who murdered himself along with many other people.
Those imams and mullahs actually call those jihad suicide/homicide attacks a “martyrdom operation.” Such disingenuous changing of words doesn’t change the fact that those Islamic terror attacks are still a horrendous murderous action of evil .
Those Muslim clerics are so despicably dishonest to attempting to switch the names of jihadist murders that they are like a sinister man man who would scrape a warning label on a jar on poison and replace it with another label that reads “Apple Juice” that doesn’t ,in any way , chance the deadly essence that is contained in that jar.
Furthermore, it’s also worth noting that those Muslim cleric brainwash other to become suicide/homicide attackers/ bombers are never, ever the one who go out and commit the homicide/suicide attacks . They just mind program and condition other people to do the murderous acts for them while they , the Muslim clerics , sit home safe. What manipulative cowards they truly are

I hadn’t heard about this case, but these types things just roll on and on neverendingly when it comes to Muslims, in all countries. This morning on the TV news there was news about another arrest in Sydney by the Australian Federal Police of some man who supported ISIS and had seemed to be planning to make a bomb or something along those lines. I think we should stop letting Muslims into our countries. Some may be OK, but these problems go on and on with far too many Muslims. It is never Buddhists or Christians. Muslims bring so much trouble with them. They are not worth having in any non-Muslim country because of all this strife they inevitably bring. It is time all our governments woke up to this fact.
Infidel says
John Howard had it right! When will you next get a prime minister like him?
tim gallagher says
Infidel, I admire John Howard, but he was never a person who was specifically tough on Islam. Howard won the election in 1996 and he was very successful. He was not voted out until 2007, so he was the second longest serving Prime Minister. Robert Menzies was the longest serving PM Australia ever had. I have trouble remembering exactly what was happening, in terms of migration back then, but I know that Phillip Ruddock, who I admired as well, was the minister in charge and he did cop some flak for toughening up the rules on migration. I started to write to John Howard and Ruddock about 2001 and I said that we should stop Muslim migration. The government definitely disagreed with me. They answered my letters by saying that Australia does not discriminate on grounds of religion, etc. Their letters were polite, as mine were, but they disagreed with me. Political leaders out here have still not decided that stopping Muslim migration is a good idea. I can give a little bit of history because I took notice of any political people who did say that a ban on Muslims was the way to go. The first person I can recall saying that was Reverend Fred Nile, who was a member of the New South Wales parliament. Then, a former Head of Treasury, John Stone, who wrote political commentary, after a big terrorist attack in the UK, said that we should ban Muslim migration. I remember reading an article he wrote on the subject. I think that that might have been around 2006. Maybe Pauline Hansen might also agree to a ban. That’s about it for Australia. Australia has no really popular anti-Islam politicians in the way the Le Pens and Wilders are. I thought John Howard was good PM, but he was never particularly tough on Islam from what I recall. It is hard to see a tough PM coming up. Even on the conservative side, the woke outlook on things seems pretty entrenched these days. Our current PM, Scott Morrison is OK though I think he is sort of soft and somewhat to the left. But that is just from my viewpoint. We see things differently on some issues, but I think he is pretty good person.
Infidel says
Tim
Thanks for describing the political landscape down under
tim gallagher says
No worries, Infidel. If I know something I’m glad to share. As I said, because I wanted a ban on Muslim migration, I used to keep an eye on political people, waiting for someone to agree with my sentiments. I will mention one other person who impresses me. That is Cory Bernardi. He was a senator in the governing Liberal party. When a very left wing guy,Malcolm Turnbull, a terrible person I believe, who really belonged in the Labor Party, became Prime Minister, Bernardi left the Liberals and started up a new party called the Australian Conservatives. I used to send them $100 a year and supported them. They never really got anywhere. Bernardi never said that he would put an end to Muslim migration, but I suspect he would have done so if he ever got any power. He now is a commentator on Sky News TV out here. He always impressed me. Plenty of conviction and passion and didn’t care about criticism he copped.
Walter Sieruk says
Those false teachers ofthe false religion of Islam be they the imams or the mullahs they do brainwash young and impressionable Muslim males in to the mindset of embracing the religious /Islamic story of a paradise with many virgins in it for the jihadist who dies for cause of Islam in a “martyrdom operation” which really in reality is a murderous jihad attack.
Those those Muslim /jihadist are so thoroughly taken in ,as in totally deceived by the deceit ofthe Muslim clerics and the false doctrine of such a paradise with virgins ,just for himself that there are videos of delusional jihadist who talk about the “Wedding that he will have ” after dies in a jihad attack.
Well , Muslim say that they recognize Jesus as a prophet of God and that He taught the truth . So they should consider concerning a belief in a wedding with the virgins that Jesus taught that “You are mistaken , not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage ,but are as the angles in heaven.” Matthew 22:29,20. [N.K.J.V.]
Furthermore that Islamic story of a paradise with virgins the Bible warms against being taken in by religious stories , no matter who enticing those religious story /doctrines might be .For the Bible warns against giving “heed to fables…” First Timothy 1:4.
In addition the Bible had predicted of a time when young men would be deceived and beguiled by such sex fable stories . For the Bible informs its reader ” For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but according their own desires ,because they have itching ears ,they will turn their away from the truth and be tuned aside to fables.” Second Timothy 4:3,4.
In great contrast, Christians don’t feel they have to rely of fables because they have a full knowledge of the power and future coming of Jesus. As Second Peter 1:16 reads “For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ…”

Australia: ‘I love Allah. I want to be in paradise and the best thing I can do for my family is to die a martyr.’

Khaled Temssah means that the best thing he can do for his vicious family is to go out and murder some Infidels or lax Muslims. *Ugh*.

The Melbourne used car salesman now says he was radicalised through charity work…
………………………….
Gee–I’ve done a lot of charity work. Somehow it has failed to make me want to go out and slaughter unbelievers…
Note that what Muslims call “charity”–really, “Zakat”–includes the funding of violent Jihad.
tim gallagher says
Yes, funny that, gravenimage, how you and many other people who go out and do charity work don’t seem to want to go and murder people. Only Islam seems to make people do that.
gravenimage says
So true, Tim. For most, if doing charity work works any change in the volunteer, it is to make them more empathetic and giving.
James Lincoln says
So true, gravenimage.
For many years, during Christmastime, I would stand out in the cold for hours “ringin’ that bell” for the Salvation Army.
But it may be feel warm inside…
tim gallagher says
Well that’s right, gravenimage and James. But it is no surprise that this poisonous ideology, Islam, produces a completely different result when Muslims go off and do “charity” work. Islam is just evil through and through and just keeps on producing evil people who seek to do extremely evil things. Fruit of the poisoned tree I guess. James, I haven’t seen Salvation Army people collecting at my local shopping centre lately, but I would always throw a couple of dollars in their tin when I saw them. I know they do great work.
gravenimage says
Thanks, James and Tim. And James, interesting to hear that you were a bell ringer for the Salvation Army–a tradition I have always loved.
I’ve volunteered with church soup kitchens, and took part in the gift drive for poor kids and a marathon gift-wrapping session at Christmas for many years, and Easter baskets at that holiday. I was known as the Eggnog Lady at Thanksgiving and Christmas for providing it at dinner for those who liked it. (it is an oddly polarlizing beverage–but those who loved it *really* loved it).
James Lincoln says
Keep up the great work, gravenimage!

Good. So just toddle off somewhere a long way away from anyone else and play with your islamic fireworks, there’s a good chap! Perhaps your family could clear up the mess afterwards?
gravenimage says
Yep–the problem is that these Jihadists always want to take innocent people with them…
