This is madness, fueled by the persistent fantasy that Islam is a religion of peace. U.S. prisons, like prisons in Britain, are allowing for jihad recruitment, and Americans will be paying the price.
“Islamic terrorists lead religious services in a quarter of federal prisons: inspector general report,” by Greg Piper, Just the News, July 8, 2021 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Inmates convicted on terrorism-related charges or with “known connections to terrorist organizations,” including the Islamic State, al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab, were allowed to lead religious services at a third of the federal prisons audited by a federal watchdog, raising deep security concerns.
A recent audit by the Justice Department’s inspector general of the Chaplaincy Services Program in the Federal Bureau of Prisons found four out of 12 facilities in which terrorist inmates were eligible to lead religious services.
At three of the facilities, the prisoners were affiliated with Islamic terrorist groups, with at least two leading services “on a regular basis” or a “frequent basis.” One of them was chosen to lead services by other inmate coreligionists “due to his extensive faith knowledge and Arabic fluency.”
This wasn’t the first time the IG found terrorist inmates leading services, the report states, citing a March 2020 audit.
The July report blamed the absence of a “fully-staffed and diverse chaplaincy” for such lapses: The 236 chaplains are about 30 percent below BOP targets. This prompted many institutions to “turn to alternatives such as inmate-led services and heavy reliance on contract faith providers and minimally vetted volunteer faith providers to fill the gaps in the chaplaincy staff. These staffing shortages and alternatives present risks.”
BOP policies don’t restrict “certain inmates from leading services and appear to be inconsistent regarding the level of required monitoring,” the report states. It found only one chaplain who “reportedly took preemptive action to prevent a known terrorist from leading religious services.”
Chaplains told IG staff they let prisoners choose their own faith leaders “to avoid complaints, lawsuits, or the rejection of leaders that would otherwise be selected by BOP staff.”…

Feeding, providing medical/dental care, heated and/or air conditioned facilities at taxpayer expense, all the while fomenting the destruction of the west. This is not just madness it’s absolutely stupid to the nth degree.

Mr. Emerson, IPT, sent an email regarding this and the author of the report goes into detail about all of the opportunities missed by the BOP to put an end to this.
If the mozlums get to choose who conducts their religious services…and they do…, and there is a terrorist with al queda or brotherhood experience, they are going to choose these ones to “preach” to them.
And the fact that the literature can be removed if there is reason to remove, but none ever has been…this is just inexcusable.
Of course, c.a.i.r. has their filthy fingers all over this, calling for more mozlums to be hired as “chaplains,” with the IG finding a serious problem with “vetting” these creeps. Of course, mozlum orgs say they should be the ones to “certify” imams to do this counseling job.

When I read stories like this, I tend to agree more strongly w/ Terry Gain that the only solution is to de-recognize islam as a religion in context of the First Amendment protections that it has as a result. Yeah, we have argued here and elsewhere ad nauseum whether or not islam is a religion, but regardless of that, it should be explicitly defined as not a religion as far as the context of having First Amendment privileges and protections is involved
Do that, and not a single imam would be allowed anywhere near our jails, where they’d get a captive audience for free

Was the anti-Christian, anti-Democracy, totalitarian political ideology of Islam meant to be included by the framers in First Amendment Protections? I think not. Does the word Islam appear anywhere in The Federalist Papers?

Terry, you have claimed before that the Founding Fathers were ignorant of Islam, and that this means that the FIrst Amendment needs to be dismantled in some way. But this does not hold water, as I have pointed out numerous times. Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were indeed familiar with Islam and its horrors.
They were in London at just about this time, and met the representative of the Barbary State–and his assurance that enslaving Infidels is a core part of Islam.
And both ot these men were historians–the implication that they were unaware of evil creeds like the worship of Baal and the Aztec religion. The idea that ensuring freedom of religion means that you can legally sacrifice humans, say, is mistaken.
In fact, Jefferson famously said this:
“The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”
Obviously there are aspects of Islam that are indeed injurious to others–and these are, or should be, illegal.
Dismantling our own civilized laws–especially that core guarantor of our freedoms, the First Amendment–would not actually make us safer.
I don’t believe that we should have to change our laws for Islam.

Brian Kilmeade once pointed out that the framers did at one time debate the same thing that Ben Carson once proposed when he was a candidate for president – on whether a muslim should be eligible for such an office. I think the framers glossed over that, as they never dreamt that a day would come when muslims would become citizens and thereby eligible to get elected to such offices

I have never heard of this, Infidel. Citations?

It was in one of the Fox & Friends shows in 2016. It would be tough to find on YouTube, though, but Kilmeade made that remark in the context of his book on Jefferson’s dealings w/ the pirates of Tripoli

Yes prisons are a breeding grounds for Islamic terrorist to recruit membership to their cause. This is just political islamic ideology being sold as a religion to be able to operate within our society.
