PUBG Mobile India to return as Battlegrounds Mobile, here is how you can do the pre-registration

PUBG Mobile is coming back to India as Battlegrounds Mobile and the entire gamer community in the country is excited. Now, Krafton has announced just the name of the game and that it will be exclusive to India. There is no official confirmation of the release date of the Battlegrounds Mobile. However, rumours are rife that the launch may take place in June, with a fan theory pointing to June 10 particularly. Whatever the date may be, we will find out soon. But before the wider release, Krafton will open pre-registration for the game.

UPDATE: Krafton has announced the pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India will begin on May 18. Only Android users will be able to pre-register initially through Google Play Store in India.

Pre-registrations before a full-scale rollout of an app or game are pretty common. Developers do that to ensure their new app or game works as expected and people do not encounter any issues with them. The pre-registrations also let developers gauge the interest people have in a particular game or app. After a section of users gives positive feedback, developers move ahead with a wider release of the app -- and iron out any bugs should there be any. Battlegrounds Mobile India will also be available to download but in a limited number initially. However, it is likely that pre-registration will be available on Android initially.

When will Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registrations begin?

Krafton had announced that pre-registrations will run for the upcoming battle royale game but it did not specify a timeline for that. But if we go by what some fans are saying, that might happen on June 10, on the basis of a prediction that the Indian version of PUBG Mobile would arrive on the day of the solar eclipse. Some YouTubers have also claimed the launch may take place in June. However, there is no official word from Krafton yet.

How to pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India?

As soon as the announcement regarding pre-registrations arrives, you will be able to head to Google Play Store on your Android phone -- and App Store on your iPhone in case registrations begin for iOS -- and make your reservation. There will be separate links for Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registrations that Krafton is likely to share as and when the announcement comes. Alternatively, you can go to the Play Store or the App Store, search for Battlegrounds Mobile India, and navigate to the game’s listing in the app marketplace. From there, you can pre-register for the upcoming game.
