Keeping You

Rate this book
He was my first kiss. My first love. And my first heartbreak . Twenty years later, our reunion is not the meet-cute I imagined. Instead, it's a meet-puke when I find Callum Quinn throwing up on my front lawn. We’ve both come a long way since high school. I’m a free spirit single mom, back in town with twin boys and a family farm to save. Even though we're both divorced and carrying baggage but my heart still beats for the dirty talking good guy.

Will a roll in the hay for old time’s sake be enough to get this out of our systems? He was my first love, can I make him my last? Keeping You is a full-length, standalone, steamy, small town, slow burn, contemporary romance featuring a sassy single mom heroine and a lovable good guy hero. May contain adult language, barn sexy times, a vindictive rooster, a meet puke and lots of literal and figurative fireworks. HEA guaranteed.

"Sometimes people just need to be seen."
This sentence really struck a chord. Isn’t that the truth?

This was my first Daphne Elliot book, and I was lucky to have been given an ARC copy by the author. Keeping You is a sweet, flirty, and sexy second-chance romance, with a dash of single-parent, set in the small town of Havenport. If you’re into any of these things, I think you’re going to like it.
This is the third book in the Havenport series, but it can be read as a standalone.

"Holy mother of abs. Callum had them all. All the abs. The regular abs and the extra super-hot-guy abs."
Callum is a wonderful hero. He’s handsome, hot, I love his sense of humor, and he has a great group of friends/family. However, he is also an overachiever, and he’s been under lots of (self-imposed) pressure from a very young age. He is also coming to grips with the end of his marriage, and the fact that his ex-wife is remarrying. It would be too much for anyone.

"She was light and love and feisty perfection, and she lit me up from the inside out."
Violet is a single mom of two boys. As you know, I’m all for the independent, I-got-this heroine, and Violet has a lot of that. After her failed marriage, she’s back at her parents’ farm to raise her kids, while also struggling not to lose the farm. She’s in over her head, and the last thing she needs is a guy. Right?

"Yes. Honesty is fucking hot. (…) Intimacy? Smoking. (...) And well, emotional vulnerability? It melts my panties off."
Callum and Violet were briefly together in high school. Long story short, life happened, and they went their separate ways. Now they’re both in Havenport, avoiding each other, until they can’t anymore. Their meet-cute after 20 years is... original.
They have chemistry in spades. And their rolls in the hay (literally and figuratively) are really hot. As always, in my opinion, it was great to see a heroine owning her mom, not-flawless body.

"There is nothing wrong with you. You have to get up every day and fight to be your best self. Just like everyone else."
The book is told in dual POV, which means we know neither of them is perfect. We know about Violet’s concerns, and we also know Callum is dealing with panic attacks and anxiety. It was refreshing to see this in a man’s perspective, especially one who doesn’t like to fail, but feels like he is.

The reason why it is a 4.5 for me is that I wish they would’ve tackled Callum’s anxiety together. They say that no man is an island, and it’s always helpful to have people in your corner when it comes to mental health.

"I don’t want you to ever feel like you have to pretend for me. I fell in love with the real Callum, and he’s the only man I want."
Callum’s blunders made me laugh. The rooster thing made me laugh even harder. They both made me want to clash their heads together to stop being their stubborn selves.
The secondary characters add a lot to the book. His brothers, their friends, and their families, who all come together to help Violet. It’s small-town romance at its best – yes, you get all the gossip, but you also get the best of it, a close-knit community.

"You are it for me. (…) Because now that I have you back, I’m keeping you forever."
This was the second-chance story Callum and Violet deserved. Thank you, Daphne, for giving it to them.
Can't wait to read the other books!

Daphne has done it again. I was lucky enough to get an advanced reader copy, and it was a joy to read. I aspire to be as cool and confident as Violet, and Cal's dirty talking sex appeal is toe curling. Plus, it's refreshing to see a hero with anxiety. Representation matters, and Daphne Elliot handles it with her trademark sensitivity and aplomb. A five star keeper of a book.

I was super excited when Daphne Elliott asked me to be one of her beta readers. I love the Havenport series, the characters, the town, and its people. I would move there if that were a possibility.

Keeping You, the third book in the series is about the town's golden boy, Callum Quinn.
Early in the story, we see nothing is what it seems, and the Callum we have seen in the past is not the real Callum. I loved how Daphne portrayed him and his issues. His imperfections, his vulnerabilities made me fall in love with him. The way he acted and felt, thought was so realistic and relatable. Yes, Callum Quinn is my favorite brother!
Violet, she got dealt a shitty deal, but she was so strong. Her insecurities and emotions and the way she thinks about herself as a mother and woman made me like her more.
I absolutely loved how she called out Callum, she wanted the real person and not the image he gave everyone.
Callum and Violet have so much chemistry and complement each other perfectly.
The sex scenes are well built and descriptive but don't take anything away from the storyline. Callum and Violet are explosive together in every way!

The story is told in dual pov, so we get both sides and understand both characters. It's so easy to place yourself as a reader in their shoes, I loved that about the story.

If you enjoy enemies to friends to lovers romance mixed with a second chance, single parent and small-town romance that is relatable, has all the feels but also the laughs and the steam, then this is your next read!

Now, I might be a little biased because I have been in love with Cal since first meeting him in Trusting You, but there is just something about this beautifully broken man.

I'm even ok with Violet getting to have him. I can 100% relate to the divorced mom who was married to a self absorbed prick. I totally understand her reluctance to trust her instincts which have failed her time and again.

Together, hopefully, they can heal, trust, and save the farm!

Oh, and there is a cock blocking cock😂.

5 Stars!

POV: Dual (1st Person)
Tropes: Second chance, Single mum, Small town
Triggers: Anxiety, Panic attacks, Bereavement

Likes: I loved both Cal and Violet! She's an amazing independent single mum, who'll do anything to protect her family and farm. And he's such a sweetheart, as well as being a incredibly loyal, he's also a complete alpharoll. All while battling his own internal demons.

Dislikes: There could have been a touch more drama, but that's only me being picky! You really can't help but root for these two.

Synopsis: Keeping You follows single mum Violet as she tries to juggle parenting and saving her family's farm. And Callum, Havenport’s Golden Boy, who on the outside looks like he's living the perfect life - he's smart, successful and incredibly sexy - if only everyone knew the crippling anxiety he feels everyday. They were high school sweethearts, until Cal broke Violet's heart the night of prom...but why? Now a decade later they're back in the same town, and have managed to avoid each other, until he ends up almost passed out on her front lawn!

This is epitome of a second chance romance. I loved how it wasn’t full of miscommunication angst about the past break up. Or talk of manwhoring since. Instead it was a beautiful story of two people who were meant to be together, they just needed to experience heartache in the past and meet again at the right times in their lives to see how truly perfect for each other they were.

Such a beautiful read.
Violet single mum, recent divorcee is reunited with Callum her high school sweetheart in Havenport.
Both battling their pasts. Violet trying to keep her business a float and Callum suffering with his mental health.
Daphne wrote a brilliant book with an in depth plot and great characters.
If you love Second Chance stories with depth, spice and emotions you need to read this.

“Don’t be gentle, I like you wild Cal.”

I love every book of this series, and I was lucky enough to Beta read this. Cal is like an onion, you have to peel back the layers. Sure, he’s Havenports golden boy but he has his own demons.

This is Second Chance done right, Vi & Cal both loved and lived their lives, had their own experiences and came back together.

I’ve been looking forward to Callum’s story and I was not disappointed! Callum, who appeared to be so perfect as to be almost untouchable, really touched my heart. The author did an excellent job portraying his inner dialogue, and I’m glad she created lovely Violet to balance him out. I do love the Havenport Series and I can’t wait for Maggie and Josh, and Trent!!!

Man, I've been really enjoying Daphne Elliot's work lately. This series has been such a refreshing series to read. I'm usually drawn to dark / taboo type of romance to to be honest, so sometimes it's great to read a series with a more wholesome vibe.

Violet and Callum were GREAT characters. The character development in this book was fabulous. Cal is a... broken man, but he's also a beautiful, caring man.
Violet is a divorced mom who has escaped her failed marriage to a bit of an asshole. So when she meets Cal, she's a bit hesistant to trust her instincts and go with her feelings again, since in the past, her instincts and feelings have failed her. I can relate to her. It's hard to believe the next relationship will be successful when the person you married failed to love you the way you deserved.

The playful and sexy banter between Violet and Cal was amazing. They both had their imperfections ,but they both are so deserving of love and happiness.

I also love that the author does a great job of showing characters with anxiety.

A fun, sexy, second chances, single parent in a small town read. This book was a quick read for me, with low conflict and a strong female lead!

I enjoyed Cal and Violet’s story. They were together for a minute in High School. But it took living life to realize how they wanted to live. Together they do anything, trust again, complete each other, and revitalize her farm!

The third book in the series but easily stands alone. I recommend reading about all the Quinn brothers, though.

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Daphne did it again! Second chance romances are a favorite of mine and Cal and Violet's story turns my favorite trope up a notch. Talk about heat. Between sexy barn scenes that will make your panties melt and a man who goes above and beyond for this single mom and her twin boys...someone get me a hose! Daphne tackles topics of anxiety and mental health in a light way that is true to heart. Dare I say this was my favorite book of hers yet :)

⭐️ARC REVIEW ⭐️

Keeping You (Book 3): Havenport Series by Daphne Elliott

First, I had a crush on Liam Quinn. Than I had a serious crush on Declan Quinn. Hot DAMN! Now ... I have MAJOR LOVE FEELS for Callum Quinn! ❤️❤️

Callum Quinn is Havenport’s Golden Boy. He is successful, smart and sexy as heck! Why on earth would anyone want to be “just friends” with a man like him. “I can friend you all day long. I have amazing friend stamina. I am going to friend you so good you won’t be able to walk in the morning.”

Seriously!? Just Friends!? Heck NO! I want Callum Quinn to be my everything! I want him all to myself!

Violet Thompson is a single mom with two twin boys, trying to move past a disastrous marriage. She is fiesty, spicy, smart and sexy as hell. Coming back to Havenport to start over with her boys on her family’s farm, does come with some challenges. Coming face-to-face with her ex-boyfriend, was not on her list of things to do. But, fate had other plans.

“Keeping You” is a second chance romance about two people trying to leave their past behind in order to move towards the future. Yet, this doesn’t go as planned.

Callum suffers from anxiety. With therapy, support and exercise he’s been able to manage it well. Until, he receives an invitation that throws him off track. He’s struggles some. Until, he starts spending time with Violet and her boys. She seems to have a calming effect that grounds him. He doesn’t have to pretend.

As they spend more and more time together, old feelings start to resurface. He can’t seem to get her off his mind. Violet loves the “real Cal.” She is constantly encouraging him to be real. “OK. I’ll tell you something real. I think you’re beautiful and lively and a little bit infuriating. And it’s moments like this I have to stop myself from grabbing you and kissing the hell out of you.” (Insert SIGH) Hence, the sexy scenes were indeed SPICY!! (Barn, Hay and Sweaty Bodies .. need I say more!) 🔥🔥🔥 5/5!

I really liked Callum and Violet’s story. However, what I LOVE about this journey, is how brave Daphne Elliott was to write the MMC Callum as the one who suffered from anxiety. It was refreshing to read this didn’t stem from a terrible upbringing or a rough past and he wasn’t crippled by his anxiety. He was still a high functioning person. He came from a good home, with a great family. It was good to see it wasn’t the female character with anxiety. Instead, she was the one to “help” him.

As always, ALL the supporting characters were fantabulous. A strong group of women who kick arse in their own way and are constantly building one another up! Encouraging success! It’s wonderful to see.

“Keeping You” is a fabulous book with all the feels. I’m looking forward to book 4! You must put this on your TBR List!

Callum, the oldest of the Quinn brothers in Havenport, was that who broke Violet Thompson's heart by ditching her the evening of her Sophomore Homecoming dance. That resulted in the end of their newly formed relationship. That is, until Violet's twin sons find Cal leaving a little unexpected and unpleasant gift on her front lawn. Violet has to decide if she can ever forgive Cal for the Homecoming dance and Cal has to decide if he can find a way to forge a new relationship with Violet. Will Cal convince Violet to try again after everything that she and her sons have gone through? After Cal's divorce from a cheating ex-wife, does he actually have the courage to try a new relationship with Violet?

If you love sweet with a little spice realistic romances, Keeping You is definitely the book for you! Second chances, stories with young children, strong family relationships and supportive friendships, and overcoming adversity are all features in Keeping You. Cal can be a bit of a dirty talker and Violet is definitely into encouraging all of the rolls in the hay that are hot enough to set a barn on fire. A few surprises include a 🐓 and 🐖 and other farm animals, as well as Cal's exhausting evening watching twin boys. These surprises are laughter traps.

Daphne Elliot, as a new author, has created this world of Havenport and the Quinn family, along with a big supporting cast of characters that the reader can see so clearly in their mind. When an author can create a place and characters that have readers wishing they could visit that place and be friends with the characters, you absolutely know that this author has writing chops that are rare. When we find authors like Daphne Elliot, we glom onto them and stick for life. With the first book in the Havenport series, I have glommed onto Ms. Elliot, and anxiously await each book that she decides to write. If you have not read Trusting You and Finding You, they do not have to be read before Keeping You, but you really should read them. They definitely enhance your journey through Havenport.

Ms. Elliot definitely earned this five star review for Keeping You. Eagerly anticipating book 4 in Havenport, and wondering which couple will be the focus. Dying to know what the story is with Nora Riccio and Lucas Kim! And will Maggie forgive Josh and will they find their way back to love?

What are you waiting for? Go buy your copy of each of the Havenport series books, and get reading!

I love a good second chance story, and this story of how Cal and Violet came back to each other is so sweet and sexy. Once high school sweethearts with a bad breakup, Cal and Violet are both recovering from difficult divorces. Violet has returned to Havenport as a single mom of adorable twins trying to keep her family's farm afloat, and Cal is struggling with severe anxiety.

I think Cal might be my favorite Quinn brother. He's so perfectly imperfect. He's struggled with anxiety for twenty years, and over-achieved at everything in life as a way to hide it. But his divorce has left him feeling like a failure, a loser, and he can't understand why everyone else doesn't see him that way too. All he sees in himself are his short comings, and he doesn't see that he's an absolutely wonderful friend and brother, a brilliant business man, a great soccer coach, and a seriously sexy dirty talker.

Cal and Violet together are pure fire, and his support of her as a CEO trying to learn the ropes of running a business is swoon worthy. I love how Daphne's feminism comes through in everything she writes. The hero doesn't rescue the heroine, he helps her success. I am sooooo here for that sort of narrative in romance, bring it on!

If you love sweet, sexy, small-town, second-chance romances, this is the read for you. Thank you for the ARC opportunity.

Keeping You is the third book in the Havenport series, but can be read as a standalone. It is a friends-to-lovers, second chance, single parent, small-town romance starring Havenport’s golden boy, Callum Quinn.

Callum is an amazing hero. He’s oh so hot, funny, determined and handsome. He’s quite anxious about his ex-wife remarrying. Callum has his vulnerabilities, his imperfections, and his issues which made his character so relatable and refreshing. Violet, our heroine, is the independent, single mother of two boys after a failed marriage. She’s struggling with the fact that she may lose her family farm. Callum and Violet have history. They were briefly together in high school, but things didn’t work out and they went their separate ways.

Callum and Violet were so good together! Their chemistry and compatibility were off the charts and I loved that Violet was the one to call Callum out for the fake persona he presents to everyone and get to know the real him, vulnerabilities and all. I loved how perfect the two were for each other and how they were meant to be together when they were ready for it.

I absolutely adored this sweet, sexy, second chance, small town romance featuring relatable loveable characters.

Title: Keeping You
Author: Daphne Elliot
Hero/Heroine: Callum & Violet
Trope: Small Town/Second Chance Romance

THE GOOD 😁

Well let’s just say it now, this is a Daphne Elliot book so of course the whole book was friggin amazing. We got the chance to learn bits and pieces about Callum in the previous two books in the series, so I sort of had an idea of the type of person he would be. Boy was I proved wrong.
You’d be made to think, from the previous books, that Callum was confident and never let anything bother him. He was successful, college educated and had his pick of the women in Havenport. Yet, as the book progressed, you come to learn how deep his insecurities went and how he constantly felt like he was a disappointment to his family. When he reconnected with Violet again, I adored how much he loosened the reins slightly and allowed himself to really feel and enjoy his time with her. I think what I loved so much about this book was that it was the hero that was suffering with anxiety, not the heroine. Don’t get me wrong, I love an alpha hero as much as the next person, however getting to see a hero so vulnerable was quite an eye opener, and I felt that the author portrayed this in a very delicate and sensitive manner.
As well as Cal’s character, I also loved Violet. So sassy and straight talking, she was determined not to get involved with Cal after the breakdown of her marriage. There was so much chemistry between these two however, that it would have been a crime if they didn’t succumb to their feelings. Which they did. A lot. Both so jaded from their previous relationships, it was great to see them both grow and eventually learn to trust each other.
All in all, this book was an absolute delight from beginning to end, and Daphne Elliot has definitely earned her spot on my list of auto buy authors.

THE BAD ☹️

Mark Fishman. What. A. Creep.

Thank you to the author and Wildfire Marketing for providing me with a copy of this book to read. This is my honest review.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: A sweet and steamy small town romance that gave me all the feels

Callum Quinn, bless your heart, I'm 'Keeping You' FOREVER.

Daphne Elliot takes us back to Havenport for this small town, second chance at romance story that will completely warm your heart.
From their hilarious and humiliating encounter (for Callum), I absolutely adored Violet (her two boys) and Callum, two ex high school lovers who haven't seen each other in 20 years.

Callum, the eldest Quinn brother, is handsome, sweet, and successful. Yet underneath the image Callum portrays to the world he is a man drowning in expectations and struggling with anxiety.
And single mother Violet, is a beautiful and sweet, (make love not war) free - spirit.
These two were made for each other. Not only do they compliment each other beautifully, but they share a mind, body, and soul connection that is heart and Kindle warming.

I loved watching the relationship between Callum, Violet, and her two boys grow. I laughed through the banter and hilarious moments, I swooned during the sweet moments, I blushed during the dirty talking steam, and god my heart ached through the angsty, insecure, and anxiety filled moments.

Oh how I love the hilarious and supportive sisterhood of woman in this story and series. I want in, I will even bring the wine.

This was another beautiful story from Daphne Elliot. And while the last Quinn brother has found his HEA, there are still more Havenport stories to be told and I'm so excited for all of them.

"If you'll have me, I want ALL of you."

I have never laughed so much in the first 10% of a book in my life!  The way Cal and Violet reunite after many years apart is pure GOLD, or bloodshot depending on whose point of view you're seeing.

Violet has been struggling to hold on to her life as a single mother and attempt to run the family farm.  Not an easy feat with her little terror twins and a mounting suspicion she's being played for a fool.  This one is no pushover, despite what the world seems to think.   She can and will hold her own, but she is going to need some help.

Callum Quinn has always been seen as the golden boy of Havenport.  Excellent grades, soccer star, all around guy who will give you the shirt off his back.  This is what the world sees, but the demons he fights are internal. They also caused him to break the heart of the girl who still holds his.

These two definitely set the barn and the gossip train ablaze with the pent up emotions and chemistry.   They will have to fight for each other and with themselves.  With a mountain of history and the flames that reignite,  can they win back the love they once had?

The author has given a great example of how what the world sees and the truth about a person can be very different.   Women are not the only ones who have to struggle to hide their demons.  I loved how she  showed that men have weaknesses too.  They need help, and are stronger and more desirable when they can show it. Highly recommended!

4 Star Review Keeping You (Havenport #3) by Daphne Elliot
Daphne Elliot is a new author to me and I found this an entertaining read. Keeping You is a second chance at love story for Callum Quinn and single mum Violet Thompson set in the small town of Havenport, Massachusetts.
From the first chapter I was drawn in to the story that Ms. Elliot wove. I enjoy small town and single parent romances and this one ticked a number of boxes for me. These two have history and despite the confident exterior he portrays, Callum is desperate to step out of his comfort zone.
Meeting up with Violet again, despite the awkwardness of the past, they both realize that they could use a friend. Violet needs help to save her family’s farm and turns to Callum. However the intense chemistry that has always sizzled between them is still there and they soon give in to temptation.
The last thing that Violet wants or needs is another man in her life as she struggles to raise her boys and try and keep the farm going, but she soon finds herself involved. I really enjoyed they characters, they were easy to relate to and I loved that Violet was comfortable in her own skin. Callum was such a caring and protective man and I love that the author was not afraid to show him dealing with his panic attacks and anxiety.
The writing was strong and I will be looking at other books from Ms. Elliot when time permits.

This is the third book in the wonderful Havenport series and I was lucky enough to get an ARC to read. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far and this book was no exception. I love a second chance romance, and this was a great one! Violet and Callum are perfect for each other, and experiencing their reconnection was wonderful. There’s something about the Quinn brothers; they’re so sexy and sweet, even when they’re being broody, or stubborn, or just plain clueless. And the women that are their perfect matches are real and nuanced and the kind of people I’d love to spend time with. Like many readers have said before, if I could buy a ticket to Havenport, I’d hop on a plane and fly there tomorrow. Who wouldn’t want to live in a place where family is so important, friends always have your back, the men are swoon worthy and the women are strong, sexy and more than capable of looking after themselves—no helpless maidens here! And I love that Daphne Elliot wrote about anxiety in such a realistic and compassionate way. This was a wonderful story and if you love sexy, heart-warming, small-town romances, you’ll love this book.

This is now my fave Havenport book!!

Callum has been my least fave of the brothers since the series started and I was like meh Declan is the best and we had his book! Then Daphne posted the prologue on her page, boy did I change my mind and make grabby hand motions at her... Well Callum won me over!

I loved this book from the dedication at the beginning to the bonus extended epilogue at the end. Daphne did a great job giving us a story and showing real characters who are flawed and so human.

As someone who suffers with anxiety it's lovely to see it brought to light in this setting especially with it being Callum suffering and not our female lead.

Violet, oh I adored her I think she's now my fave Havenport lady. Maybe it's because I identify with her too as a single mum.

This book has the small town feel, I love Havenport! A lovely romance story, great characters a dollop of steam, some definitely humourous moments and a lovely HFN ending.

What more could you want??? Except more Havenport, yes please!

Oh, Callum, you silly, silly man! His story is all about being the best and the anxiety that comes with that pressure. Throw in an ex-girlfriend who owns a farm and now has two little boys and you get one heck of a story! Chemistry, love, support and a HEA are all part of this book!

Violet is stronger than she realizes and with the tribe of women supporting her along the way she quickly learns how formidable she can be. All the while, she isn’t sure if she’s ready for the likes of sexy, confident and strong Callum.

Callum has always had to be the best, the smartest, the strongest and with that comes intense pressure. He likes Violet and wants to help her however he can. Fighting his own demons may be more than he can handle though.

Anxiety can be so detrimental to people, so I’m glad it was so well written in this story. Daphne did a great job at showing a real life example of what someone may go through. The support shown is so important too. I am loving the Quinn clan and don’t want this series to ever end!!

Violet Thompson has no time for a man in her life. She has a farm to run and two adorable twin boys to raise, and she won’t risk her heart again. But when Callum Quinn makes an effort to get to know her again, she feels her walls starting to come crashing down around her. And that terrifies her. As for Callum, he’s dealing with his own problems. But when he runs into Violet again, he finds that he can’t seem to stay away. Violet is the one who got away, and even with all the complications in his life, he knows he wants her to be a part of it. But he needs to decide whether that’s as a friend or something more…

WOW!!!! I cannot clearly express how much I love Cal and Vi. They are so incredibly perfect for each other. This book had it all: steam, humor, romance, a good plot… I could gush nonstop about how wonderful this book Definitely one of my top 2021 reads!!! Callum and Violet’s witty banter and undeniable chemistry were amazing to read about. Everyone should read this book!!!

I loved books one and two of the Havenport series but book three is my favorite so far! Daphne crafted the most beautifully flawed and relatable character in Cal. Cal and Violet are absolutely perfect for each other.

The plot and flow of this story was perfect. Daphne intertwined anxiety, loss of trust, rekindling and forgiveness and acceptance into the sweetest of second chance stories. I love that Violet was the beaker of hope and strength for Cal when he needed it and that when Cal accepted his struggles that he was able to be the backbone and strength when Violet needed it. My heart was cracking and mending back together with this one and tears trickled down my cheeks more than once.

I also LOVED the appearances of all our Havenport favorites and their powerful women at their sides.

I loved it, Daphne.

🌟🌟🌟🌟💫

So a friend of mine said that this book was her favorite of the three, & I definitely have to agree with her. Both Violet and Callum are so relatable for me. I get Violet and trying to keep 2 kids alive, that is seriously a struggle! And I get Callum as my husband also suffers from anxiety.

Not only did I completely relate to both characters,
But I absolutely loved their second chance Romance. These two are absolutely perfect for each other & I loved their journey to get there. And can I just say that Violet’s boys giving Callum shit is just epic! This whole series is amazing & definitely one to read!

This was my first book by this author and it won’t be my last! This book hooked me in from the very beginning. So much so I had a hard time putting it down. It was a quick fast paced read. I loved Callum and Violet together. If you like small town second chance romances check this one out! It is a standalone in a series but there are other characters that you can tell had their story already told. I definitely want to go back and read the previous books. There was no long drawn out unnecessary drama. I would definitely recommend this book.

Received a arc for a honest review.

Oooh Daphne ...this is by far my favourite of the series. Callum Quinn... be still my heart. I just wanted to wrap him up in cottonwool and fight his anxiety demons for him. He is swoonworthy, sensitive, hunkaliscious goodness. Violet is strong, independent and fierce. Perfect for each other. This is a sexy, steamy second chance small town romance that captures your soul. Its heartfelt, angsty, emotional and just absolute perfection.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another 5 ⭐️ for Daphne.

I just finished this beauty and definitely fall for Cal. He’s so perfect, romantic, handsome and sexy. Violet is the strongest mom ever. The Quinn brothers are the best! My favorite still Declan. I want to live in Havenport. I’m so excited for the future books ❤️

Another fabulous story by Daphne. Those Quinn brothers. There's something about them. I love how they all fall for driven, intelligent women.
