This survey is launched in the framework of the European B-HUB FOR EUROPE initiative (https://b-hub.eu/), which is promoted by the European Commission – DG CONNECT – ‘Startup Europe’ programme.
 
The aim is to get an expert’s view on how the current regulation fits with the specific requirements of the blockchain technology, to assess how it may facilitate or hamper a wider blockchain development and adoption, as well as to outline the required changes and the areas where more intervention is required at national and EU level.

The experts' opinions will feed into a set of recommendations for European regulatory efforts on blockchain, with insights towards on-going EU initiatives dealing with regulation enhancement and fine-tuning.
