He’s the underboss in his mafia brotherhood, and women have no place in his world. As a good girl with an overprotective dad, she’s been warned against his kind time and again. But when her father’s corruption shatters her world, he all but forces her into the mafioso’s bed.

KELLY

I’m a busy friggin’ man and priority number one is destroying the south-of-the-border bastardos who’ve been dealing blow on our turf. Then I find out someone who’s supposed to be in our pocket is on the take with this rival cartel, and things go from bad to FUBAR.

That backstabbing jagoff owes me big. Unfortunately, the only thing he’s got to offer is the one thing I don’t want. His daughter. Now I’m fighting to keep control of our territory and I’ve got to babysit this beautiful, mouthy babe. I’ll keep Marlowe as collateral, and I’ll take what I want, when I want, whether she likes it or not.

MARLOWE

After my dad’s secrets and lies blow up in his face, he bargains with the only priceless gem he has . . . me. He practically gives me away to none other than Kelly O’Sullivan, a rough-talking mafia man he’s warned me about for years.

I’m infuriated I’ve been put in this dicey position. It’s my father who should pay the price for his double dealing, not me. It’s impossible. Kelly is impossible. He’s intimidating. Overbearing. Scary. Sexy. He dominates me from day one, taking a wrecking ball to my defenses and wreaking havoc with my desires.

I’m pretty sure I hate him. I definitely don’t trust him. But when the cartel makes it clear they want me too, what other choice do I have?

Kelly is book 2 in the O’Sullivan Brothers Irish mafia series. No cliffhangers. No cheating. Includes sizzling hot scenes. Can be read as a standalone.

Kelly: Dark Irish Mafia Romance is book two in the series and is filled with the same fast paced excitement, danger and intrigue as the first book!

What good can there be when it comes to the Irish Mob you ask? Well, when you find out more about the O’Sullivans you will find out. They are definitely dangerous, have a variety of enemies but they love hard, protect their own and care deeply about their family. This book, this family and these characters are going to keep you completely engaged from the beginning until the end!

Kelly is a dangerous man so when Marlowe’s dad make him an offer he doesn’t want to refuse, he finds himself unexpectedly drawn towards this sexy, sassy woman. Marlowe is going to fight Kelly at every turn until she realizes there is a lot more to him than she ever expected. There is no denying the chemistry these two have but there is also danger lurking around the corner. Can they battle through it all and find happiness in the end?

After my dad's secrets and lies blow up in his face, he bargains with the only priceless gem he has....me. He practically give me away to none other than Kelly O'Sullivan, a rough-talking mafia man he's warned me about for years. I'm infuriated. I've been put in this dicey position. This is the second book in Rie Warren's O'Sullivan Brothers Series. It is a dark mafia book that is a standalone in the series.
The O'Sullivan's are members of the Irish Mafia and Kelly is on of those O'Sullivan brothers. He is a dangerous man and he finds out that someone has been doubling crossing them and doing things that they shouldn't. When Kelly goes to him he offers him the only thing he has that is worth more than anything in the world to him. His daughter Marlowe. Kelly is draw to Marlowe and who his he to turn down this deal. That would be just stupid on his part. But Marlowe is not weak woman. She is of course beautiful and has a very sassy mouth and is going to fight Kelly at every turn if she has to. But she was to quick to judge a book by it's cover and soon discovers there is more to Kelly than she thought. There is not denying the fire these two have for each other. But things are not as they seem and it seems the cartel wants Marlowe too? What will happen and how will they fight off the cartel? And will they win? You have to read to find that out but I will tell you that this book is full of danger, fast passed and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I really loved it and can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Kelly: Dark Irish Mafia Romance
(O’Sullivan Brothers #2)
Written by: Rie Warren

Having read the O’Sullivan Brother’s Book 1, Lucky’s story, I made a note to grab the next book in this series. So here I am, to tell you a bit about book 2, Kelly’s story.

These O’Sullivan Brothers, they are tough Irish Mafia men with a heart of gold twist.

Kelly O’Sullivan, he takes care of the messy side of the business. He loves it because it gives him an outlet for the rage he still holds against his father. His mother’s death lies strictly at the feet of his father. He’s no gentleman, but when he sees one of their Nicaraguan enemies assaulting a woman, Kelly takes care of it. Little does he know the woman he rescued already has a connection to the O’Sullivan Mafia through her father a Boston Police Detective.

Marlowe Fearon remembered the night she was assaulted then rescued. Problem is her rescuer wasn’t really a Prince Charming. So when her father turned to that rescuer to protect Marlowe, she wasn’t really a happy camper. The worst part was she was going to be protected by Kelly O’Sullivan, one of the Irish Mafia bosses. Kelly O’Sullivan was overbearing, ok a polite way saying he was a Dominant in all ways.

Much of this story was establishing the relationship between Marlowe and Kelly and that relationship was hot and steamy and oh so very combustible! It also brought in a character that Author Rie Warren uses to show readers the humanity that the Brothers show in the character of Reilly Callahan. Having Reilly as part of this story will have him playing a very important role when the action begins. When that happens the action gets hot and heavy and bullet ridden quickly. It moves so fast there were parts I had to read twice to make sure I was up on what has been happening!

Author Rie Warren has again given readers a story that shows how mafia men can have hearts, how they love hard and fight for those they love. I really enjoyed this story, next up is Dex, well I hope Dex is next!

I loved Kelly & Marlowe from start to finish! The first meeting between these two was Kelly saving Marlowe from an apparent mugging. The second meeting, Marlowe's cop father is looking for Kelly to protect his daughter from the cartel. And Kelly jumped at that opportunity to protect this "good girl". The book is full of chemistry between thees two, steam and so much more. Action, twists, turns, betrayal make this a page-turner from start to finish. And you can read Kelly and his brother Lucky's books both for FREE with your KU subscription. What a great series!!

Ms. Warren's world building kept me glued to the pages, and sure to get me to read the next in the series.

Her bigger than life characters, and her delicious dialogue kept me engaged, and smiling to myself!

I'm definitely ready for more O'Sullivan Brothers! Bring it on!!!

OMG!! The middle O’Sullivan is dark, dirty and has a BDMS streak a mile wide. Marlowe didn’t know what she was getting into with being given to Kelly for “protection” against the cartel. Marlowe gives just as good as she gets in regards to Kelly. As they spend more time together they start to fall for each other and their chemistry is explosive. I loved how this book was exciting, fast paced, drama filled and had loads of suspense. I can’t wait for Dex’s story!!

Sometimes your perfect man is wrapped up in the hardened, over protective and controlling Irish mafia bad boy. In Marlowe’s case that’s just what Kelly O’Sullivan becomes. Unfortunately, the two meet in the worst of situations-wielding weapons, facing death and the cartel.
The nonnegotiable agreement to keep Marlowe safe puts Kelly in a position of overwhelming power. The most surprising part of the arrangement is how fast the tables turn when Marlowe and Kelly surrender to their true selves.

OMG I am still suffering from an adrenaline rush from this book. This author does what she does best. She gives us a dark, gritty world filled with violence. Of course best of all, it has hot and heavy interactions between our two main characters.

Kelly is our dirty talking, Irish mafia dude. He is SCARY… but our girl Marlowe can’t help herself especially after she finds out about all the trouble her police officer dad has gotten into. Eek. I am not saying more about that cause you have to read all to understand.

This book is NOT for the faint of heart. I fluctuate between between being PO’d and heartbroken during some pivotal moments. Soooo intense. Good thing we got some naughty times to spice up the page as well. Wink.

Happy Angsty Reading Everyone! XOXO

Rie Warren has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Marlowe and Kelly. Marlowe has just left the home of two of her students that need a little extra tutoring. She hears footsteps behind her and she tries to keep from running. She is grabbed from behind when she passed a broken streetlight and pulled into an alley. She is saved by another man but things are not good when her attacked puts up a fight. The man saving Marlowe ends up killing her attacker. Marlowe gets let go with just a kiss. Things get crazy for Kelly when he sees Detective Fearon talking to the Mexican cartel. He finds out when he talks to Fearon that he has been playing both sides and now Fearon needs help to get out of it. Fearon hands over Marlowe to Kelly for his help with the cartel. Marlowe doesn't know about this until her father brings Kelly to her apartment. She saw Kelly the night he saved her from being raped. Things are not going well for her since she doesn't know what is going on. At first, she can't stand Kelly and she gives him a had time. The more time she has to spend with him, the more she starts to like him. He is there to keep her safe no matter what. They end up getting together and she learns to trust him. Kelly ends up letting Reilly stay with them after he came after Kelly for killing his father. Reilly is only eleven and had been living on the streets. Marlowe is a teacher and she starts teaching Reilly. Marlowe is wanting to take Reilly out for Ice cream and she gets Kelly's ok to do this as long as she checks in every little while. While out, she gets a call from her father and she goes running to him. When she gets to where he is supposed to be, he's not there. His car is there, but she can't find him. She goes into the building to see if she can find him. All of a sudden the building blows up and a big ball of fire is coming toward her. She gets out of the building but is caught by the cartel. Kelly gets worried when they don't come home. When the building blows up, Reilly calls Kelly and tells him that she is gone. Kelly tells him to stay in the car and he is coming to get him. The cartel does things to Marlowe that no one should have to go through. When Kelly gets to Reilly, he is told what happened to make them be there. Kelly has his brother Dex stay with Reilly while he goes into the building looking for Marlowe. He finds Fearon, and he gives Kelly a direction to go for Marlowe. He thinks she go out but after that, he doesn't know where she is. He thinks about if the cartel has her, where would the be. He thinks and then remembers the barn in the field. He tells everyone where he thinks the cartel has taken Marlowe. They all go to the barn and make a plan. At first, Kelly does see Marlowe. They are fighting and Kelly goes after the people who he thinks have messed with Marlowe. After he takes care of everyone except the leader, someone throws gas on a car and sets it on fire. Kelly knows now this is where Marlowe had been kept. Kelly gets her out just in time, but she is not in good shape. She is tied up, naked, has cuts, burn marks, and bruises all over her. Fearon comes toward Marlowe and he wants to take her home but she is not having it. He is the reason she is in the situation she is in. She tells him she is going home with Kelly. He gets her wrapped up and takes her home and checked out.
Will Marlowe heal from her ordeal and let it go so that she and Kelly can go back to the way they were?
This was a wonderful story and I would recommend it to anyone.

✯✯5 Leprechaun & Princess Filled Stars!!!✯✯

There’s a reason why Rie Warren’s one of my favorite authors and every new book of hers that I read continue to prove why she stays on that favorite must read author list for me. I just finished Kelly and yep, she’s outdid it again!!

Kelly O’ Sullivan’s the underboss in his family’s Irish mafia and he’s good at it. Right now Kelly’s on a mission. The Mexican cartel has come into their town and trying to takeover their business and Kelly and his brother’s Lucky and Dex aren’t having it.

Kelly will takeout every Mexican drug dealer if he has to and he won’t blink twice. One night he’s out hunting and he see’s one of them going after a beautiful woman so he takes him out and the woman pulls a dagger on him. He promises to see her again soon.

Marlowe’s a teacher and she loves it. Her dad is a cop and he’s always warned her of the Russian and Irish mafia’s the Krasnov and the O’ Sullivan’s and that they’re very extremely bad guys and to stay away from them.

When Marlowe’s dad shows up at her house one night with the gorgeous guy who killed the guy who attacked her the other night Marlowe is confused. She’s even more confused to learn that this gorgeous leprechaun is the dangerous Kelly O’Sullivan. Then, she’s taken back to learn that her dad has been doing shady things and he’s been taking money from them so he could pay for her mom to get good care. She doesn’t wanna know what he does for them to pay him.

Kelly had no intention is helping Detective Feardon after finding out he’d been taking their money and the cartel’s money. But, when he saw Marlowe was his daughter Kelly decided he was going to take her, make her his and keep her. Regardless what her dad wanted and he planned on enjoying every minute of it.

Marlowe can’t believe her dad is making her go with Kelly after everything he’s said about him and his family. She agrees to go but she’s not going to like it or him.

Rather quickly Marlowe realize that Kelly and his brother’s and the Krasnov family aren’t as bad of men as she’s been told her entire life. She find’s herself liking both families and their ladies and she’s falling for Kelly more and more everyday.

Kelly’s trying not to fall in love with Marlowe but it’s proving harder everyday and night they spend together. Before Kelly can get the courage to speak his real feelings to Marlowe she’s been taken by the cartel and he’s afraid it’s Bc he put his guard down with her. Kelly realizes that this is what his Lucky must of felt like when Prue was taken and he’ll do whatever he has to in order to bring her back home alive.

OMG I absolutely loved this book!! I’m in love with these O’Sullivan brothers and their ladies. I mean I thought Lucky was hot but man. Kelly had me sitting outside in 100 degree weather and I was sweating but NOT from the weather temperature outside but from the sizzling that was coming from my Kindle LOL.

There was also some overdue closure for Kelly and Dex that came from Lucky in regards to their mother that had me bawling my eyes out.

This book legit has everything you want in a book and I’m so so excited for Dex, Damage and any other O’Sullivan man that Rie wants to give a story to.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the O’Sullivan Brothers series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time.
Bad boy….check
Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check
Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Let’s start off with the O’ Sullivans are definitely dangerous, will exact violence at a drop of a pin, have a variety of enemies but when they love, they love hard, protect their own with their own life if need be and care deeply about family. Kelly is sexy as all get out very dangerous underboss of a brutal mafia family, he doesn’t care if he is labeled a bad man or what others think of him, and he takes what/who he wants when he wants. Marlowe is intelligent, a schoolteacher, tries to do what is right by others and the daughter of a corrupt police detective. So, when she has a sit down with her father, she discovers that he isn’t a good man or person he started taking payouts from the O’Sullivan’s, the cartel to turn a blind eye or ignore certain things, when he is caught, he bargains with her life to save his own skin basically giving her to Kelly for debt owed without regard to her. Kelly finds Marlowe intriguing, drawn towards the sassy, feisty women who will fight him at every turn. Now her father’s claim is that she needs to go with him to protect her from the Cartel, but truth is he is out to save his own skin. The attraction is from the moment they meet although, they both fight it like tooth and nail but the magnetic pull between these two can’t be ignored and once they accept it, they learn so much about one another. They learn there is more to both of them then meets the eye but is it enough, will he protect her, will her father get what’s coming, can she forgive him for taking her life away, and can they find happiness?

'Kelly: Dark Irish Mafia Romance' by Rie Warren is the second book in her O'Sullivan Brothers series and tells the story between Kelly, who is part of the Sullivan Family and the one to take care of things for the family, and Marlowe, a teacher and daughter of a widowed detective. Marlowe and Kelly meet when he saves her from being raped by a member of the cartel. Kelly, who is not a nice man, demands payment from Marlowe in the form of a long, wet kiss. Although they both enjoyed the kiss that would be the last of their association, or would it?

Marlowe's mother died after a long fight with cancer leaving her father, Fearon, with a lot of medical bills to pay. As a Boston detective he had been offered payouts from various crooks for information or a blind eye. Until the medical bills became too much he always prided himself on saying no. However, he felt like he had no choice and started working for the O'Sullivan family. All was fine until Kelly found him working with the cartel.

Kelly and Fearon go to Marlowe's house and her father tells her about his dirty cop work and why he succumbed. He also informs her that she is to go with Kelly so he can keep her safe from the cartel. Marlowe is furious with her father but agrees to go with Kelly in order to give her father a little bit of peace. However, she does not make it easy for Kelly fighting him about everything. Kelly is intrigued with Marlowe's feistiness but ultimately doesn't want to put up with any of it. And neither one of them want to give in to the attraction they have for each other.

Ms. Warren has written a stellar addition to her series. The chemistry between Marlowe and Kelly jumps off the page. This book is well-written and well developed with fabulous characters; both main and supporting, an intriguing plot, and great world descriptors. Reilly is a unique way of showing Kelly's softer, sweet side. The story has suspense, deceit, laughs, mystery, trust issues, passion, twist, turns, betrayals, secrets, and plenty of heat. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of drama with their HEA. But be warned there may be triggers in the book for some people.

“Kelly: Dark Irish Mafia Romance” is book two in the ‘O’Sullivan Brothers’ series by Rie Warren. It can definitely be read and enjoyed as a standalone. I never read the first book in this series, but I was able to easily jump right into this one. Before I go into detail about this particular story, I can tell you that after finishing it, I purchased the first book, and am going to be looking forward to the next one.

Marlowe is a schoolteacher and the daughter of a police detective. She’s a stereotypical ‘good girl’ with higher moral standards and a strong reluctance to ever disappoint her parents. Kelly is the underboss of a brutal mafia family, a man for whom violence and crime is an everyday activity. He lives his life without hesitation and without regrets for being a ‘bad man’. They never should have even met one another – but then they do.

The initial meeting is followed by one orchestrated at the request of her father, who’s not the man his daughter always thought him to be. This book has a fast-moving plot with a lot of layers to it, including ones about the parents of both main characters. I’m not going to delve into the details of the story because that would be a disservice to you and to the author who put effort into crafting it. I will say though, this story does a great job showing that ‘good’ and ‘bad’ people are not always as neatly defined as we think them to be.

Marlowe and Kelly are both interesting characters with much more to them than the surface shows to the world. As the story unfolds, they each discover startling things about themselves and one another. Be aware that there is a lot of sexual activity between Marlowe and Kelly, and the language is raw in keeping with Kelly’s character. If that’s something that really bothers you, then just skim through those parts because the story is a good one and it would be a shame to miss out on reading it for that reason. There’s a lot of genuine emotion in the story, and some moments that may make you cry. The secondary characters in this book are very good as well – they add to the quality of this story and make you want to know more about them.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I also purchased a copy on Amazon.

I absolutely loved the way this book starts. The first chapter pulled me in and the book had my full attention until the last page. From the suspense to the hilarious nicknames they called each other this book had a little bit of everything. I held my breath, I laughed out loud, and I even read a little faster in certain spots because I couldn't wait to see what happened.

Marlowe thought her father was a hero, turns out she was wrong. Now he has a cartel after him and the way they plan on getting him is by getting Marlowe. The only one he trusts to keep her safe are someone he's known for years and absolutely cannot stand, but he knows she'll be safe with him and that's all that matters.

Marlowe on the other hand does not want to be stuck with a hot as hell babysitter. She doesn't want to give up her life to sit behind compound doors. She's upset with her father, upset about the entire situation, and is taking it all out on Kelly.

"I'm sure Kelly's done and said some things that just make you want to claw his eyes right out of his skull and at the same time you're dying to crawl up his big body and claim him as yours."

Kelly and his brothers run the Irish Mob and in order to do so effectively of course he has police on his payroll. One that it seems is on the verge of double-crossing him and the only way he can stop that from happening is by keeping his daughter as collateral. Marlowe's father wants her protected; Lucky just wants her. He wanted her from the first night he saved her in an alleyway, but once he knew who she was he wanted to protect her at any and all costs.

"I think it's safe to say you make me feel better, princess."

Kelly and Marlowe felt the chemistry from their very first encounter. She's too angry to want to admit it and he's too set on not settling down to want to read into it, but neither can hide from it for long. She'll need him and he won't let her down. He'd never let her down. He'd give up everything for her.

So second O'Sullivan book, and we know Rie always goes in order so this would be Kelly.

To be honest, I never thought much about Kelly at all. And for a good part of this book I didn't care much about him at all. I call that middle book syndrome - middle books are never my favorite, they often seem more like a plot device than actual standalone stories of their own.

In other books Kelly seems just as easygoing as any Irish. Tirns out he's not. He's somewhere between Arkady and Christian Grey in the less extreme version. And he has a way of always seeming to be an outsider looking in. Which makes the stories he sees unfolding somewhat more interesting to me.

Marlowe for her part...she's my favorite female lead aside from Sasha. That's a big compliment, because I'm not usually too compelled by the main women in these books. But Marlowe had a different spark and sass and obstination that was so up my alley.

What I did really like in this book, as I said, was the storybuilding for Dex, for Damage, even for Derry. Of course the sparks between Marlowe and Kelly are incredible - those are very cinematic, I could picture a lot of it in my head, which is definitely saying something. And I did get hot and bothered with some of them. And got my head full of ideas.

There were of course deep, sometimes heartbreaking moments too - I really almost believed Marlowe wouldn't join the almost raped club there, but oh well - and sweet moments too - like seeing a big bad mafia man getting flustered or knowing how apparently all of them Irish boys can do hair - but those kind of got lost to me here in the grand scheme of things.

But in the end, what I keep coming back to is the stories that didn't happen yet...and that's also saying something.

So I liked Kelly, but I have a feeling I will love the rest of this series much more.

I'm writing this review for the United Indie Book blog

This book is captivating from beginning to end. It is dark at times. It is steamy, so steamy it will melt your kindle. And if you can believe it, there's some sweet moments in this book as well. It also has the typical mafia stuff in it. The bad guys who take and the good guys who take them out. This makes for some interesting parts of the book especially towards the end.. Poor Marlowe takes a lot in this book and surprisingly comes out ok. This is when Kelly shines. He is so patient with her and despite having needs of his own, he ignores those and focuses on Marlowe. It really shows his softer side and I loved it!! Marlowe is so sassy, sweet and tells you exactly what she's feeling. She will dish it out just like everyone. She does not make it easy on Kelly at all. Kelly was ok killing people and living the single life until Marlowe enters his world. He finds himself meeting his match and falling hard in love. She makes him see things from a different angle and he does the same for her. She was fed so much lies and found her dad wasn't as great as he seemed. Kelly is going thru some things as well and as luck would have it, a special boy comes into their lives and seems to make things better. This book was so incredible to read and I loved every minute of it!! I will say the sex scenes in this book had me blushing at times and I was all in it to the very end!! These two characters know exactly what they want in the bedroom and act on it every chance they get!! They are like rabbits lol. I would HIGHLY recommend this book and I'm going to read book 1 now!! You can read this as a standalone like I did but it will make you want to read the first one next!!

Wicked and filthy in the best possible way, this book is going to get you all hot and bothered!

Kelly saves Marlowe from an attack...to say she wasn’t thankful would be an understatement! Then in a twisted turn of events that caught them both by surprise, Marlowe ends up needing protection again, but the circumstances are vastly different. Now she’s even less happy with the situation she finds herself in.

Kelly is unlike anyone she’d ever encountered before...intense, cold and dominating. But Marlowe is feisty and stubborn and wasn’t going to cower and give in to his demands! Determined to bend her to his will, Kelly ends up getting much more than he bargained for. Their intense anger for each other always led to crazy passion that was steamy hot and explosive!

However, when Marlowe starts to see the sweet and thoughtful side of Kelly, she realizes there’s so much more to this sexy Irish mafia man under that tough controlling exterior. Their journey from hate to love was all kinds of entertaining and emotional.

This book was everything from scary and disturbing to touching and tearful!

These O’Sullivan brothers are violent, off the charts hot, extremely protective, and have hearts of gold...I’m definitely eager for Dex’s book next!!

This story completely got to me. I don't know how to express one moment from the next. It started as this:

Marlowe is a substitute teacher who just recently moved out of her parents house. Her father, a cop, has repeatedly preach to her the dangers of the the Mafia, particularly the O'Sullivan's. They are an Irish Mafia that reside in Boston, this is also were Marlowe lives and her father works as a detective.
Gaining her independence, Marlowe tries to stay active by walking. One night, she is attacked and the savior to her is Kelly O'Sullivan. This night becomes a reference to both Kelly and Marlowe because they cannot forget about the kiss they shared. When Marlowe becomes a target of a war between the Mafia and Cartel, Kelly will stop at nothing to protect her.

Readers: I recommend this book. What I have referenced is only the beginning. This book will take some wild turns that have you smiling and rooting for this couple. There are a lot of steamy scenes, foul language, and rough alpha men. If you are into books a little darker this is right up your path. Warren did an amazing job of connecting these characters together.

These Sullivan Brothers sure know how to get a reader's motor running, in more ways than one. As we know from book 1, Lucky, Kelly O’Sullivan is kinda scary. Which comes in handy as an Underboss in the Mafia. Kelly is the one to “Handle” things when business goes sideways. A job he relishes as it’s a way he can let go of all the inner rage he carries. Rage for his mother’s death which he blames his father for. He has no time to tame a wild woman (Marlowe) he’s holding for collateral.

Marlowe’s world blows up when her father bargains for his life by offering her to Kelly O’Sullivan, not knowing he’s made another underhanded deal as well. Enraged this is happening she turns into a little spitfire, deciding to take her chances with the infuriating Kelly O’Sullivan until she can figure something out. Little does she know, that just might not be as easy as she thinks.

I recommend grabbing up Kelly and book 1 of the series, Lucky, if you haven’t already. These are both good Irish Mafia reads.

4.4 stars rating as 4🌟🌟🌟🌟!Really enjoyed!

Kelly is the second installment in the O'Sullivan Brothers, an Irish Mafia Romance featuring Kelly O'Sullivan and Marlowe Fearon.
Rie Warren is not a new to me author, so this book keeps in her ingenious style: unusual connections, gore and mayhem, family banter, glimpses into the future and immensively fun to read.
I really liked both characters: Marlowe gave as good as she got and Kelly maintaining a cool and, sometimes, bored demeanor when, in reality, he was boilling inside. Their connection was not meant to be but they happened anyway and it was h.o.t., powerful and truly felt. And don't get ne started with Reilly!😭😭😭😭
I was always a fan of Irish Mob books and this one did not disappoint. Really happy with the transition from the Krasnov Brothers to this great spin-off.
I just have wished a bit more aceleration of pace in certain parts of the narrative.
Great book and eager to see what comes next for the O'Sullivans!

Kelly (O’Sullivan brothers 2)

This is the second book in this series by this author. This book can be read as a stand alone read. This is the amazing story of Kelly and Marlowe. These two characters have an intense anger for each from the start but this only turns into an intense chemistry between them, which sets the pages alight as you read. This is an Irish mafia romance read at its best from this author. This story is so gripping you won't want to put this book down till the very last page, I was left wanting more from these characters. This is an amazing well written story from this author and l can't wait to read more in the future.

I was given an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my honest review

5 🔥 for hot and gritty dark romance

Kelly continues the gritty Irish mafia story that started with Lucky.
Kelly runs the streets and the drugs for his family. On a chance encounter on the streets, he meets his ‘princess’ saving her from the new drug cartel that trying to muscle in on his territory. Only to find out later that said ‘princess’ is the daughter of the cop who is on his payroll and she is being targeted by the cartel as leverage against the cop.
Marlowe, said ‘princess’, finds out that her Dad whom she idolized growing up is dirty and has put her life in danger. Her Dad wants her to go with Kelly, the Irish mafia, to be safe. He’s got to be crazy.
Let’s say that the fireworks at 4th of July is tamer than these two together. Marlowe has sass and attitude, confident in her capabilities despite the danger. Kelly is a control freak, in and out of the bedroom. He will break her, not to hurt, but to control her. He is confident in his abilities. She will be the death of him.
Rie has another steamy, gritty dark romance. Be warned it is not a sweet romance.
