Sarholz will be denounced as “Islamophobic” or ignored utterly, and the multicultural festivities will continue. What could possibly go wrong?
“Former Afghanistan commander warns against accepting many local Afghan forces: They despise us,” translated from “Ehemaliger Afghanistan-Kommandant warnt vor Aufnahme vieler Ortskräfte: Sie verachten uns,” Exxpress, August 27, 2021:
The acceptance of former Afghan local forces is currently required in many places. Dr. Thomas Sarholz, retired colonel in the Bundeswehr, on the other hand, does not believe in indiscriminate aid: “As far as the local forces are concerned, I have a different approach from that which is usually spread in the media.” His observation: “That these local forces all now want to come to us does not surprise me; they had gained a very precise insight into our standard of living. Inwardly, these people despise us, which, for understandable reasons, they will of course never admit. After all, they want to achieve something: Germany as a stronghold of prosperity.”
“Unselfishness was the last thing that drove these people to work for us.”
Sarholz himself was sent to Afghanistan as a soldier in the German Armed Forces: In 2005 and 2006 he was in command of Camp Warehouse in Kabul, the largest international camp at the time with around 2,400 soldiers from more than 20 nations. In this role, he also had local staff. “These young men knew exactly the situation in the society around them. Unselfishness was the last thing that got these people going to work for us. These romantic idealizing ideas are unknown there or meet with complete incomprehension. Life is much too hard to deal with such talk of affluent people,” he emphasized in a letter to the editor to the German daily FAZ.
The local workers were rewarded princely sums by Afghan standards and, according to Sarholz, were also treated well. As a matter of course, they took part in the “excellent” lunch. “The soldiers of the German contingent usually gave them clothes, shoes and so on when they changed contingents. I signed dozens of so-called removal certificates so that these gifts were not taken from them when they were checked at the guard.”
Some local staff had to provide information – including to the Taliban, who knew exactly what was going on
For the retired colonel, one thing is certain: “So it was worth working for us.” What you need to know: “An Afghan is defined exclusively by his family or tribal affiliation, individualism is unknown.” If they belonged to strong clans, “they also benefited from it and protected these people.”
If the local forces are members of weaker groups, other locals also benefit from their work. Even the Taliban could profit from it. Because here “protection money payments were due in order not to be killed. In addition, information had to be provided. The Taliban or similar groups were thus informed in detail about our numbers, equipment, and possibly even about our intentions.”
“There may be exceptions. Only: I haven’t met them.”
The Bundeswehr also had to react to this. “My two German soldiers, who supported me in running the camp, were instructed accordingly and warned to be careful when passing on information.”
With a view to the question of whether there were also local workers with more respect and less contempt for the foreign troops, Sarholz concludes: “I do not want to fail to recognize that there may be exceptions. Only: I did not meet them. But maybe I was and am blind. With the latter, however, when I look at the reports on the collapse of the political order in Afghanistan promoted by the Western states, I am in good company when I look at the coverage of the collapse of the Western-sponsored political order in Afghanistan.”

Remember how much damage was done by isolationists before both WWI and II. Not only in the US, but many countries feared war so much they begged for it. It took the invasion and conquest of France, the bombing of the UK and Pearl Harbor to get people to understand war is not a voluntary contract. It is a unilateral ACT that one party forces on another, essentially always at a time and place most harmful.
One of TWO laudable acts of the Carter administration, in my opinion, was the rescue of the boat people from Vietnam. Thousands were resettled to the US. They knew what they were fleeing and have been treasures for many reasons to we who were already here. There could be the same good from some from Afghanistan; BUT, accept the FACT they are muslim, poorly educated, and many will be dangerous to all those around them, including US citizens.
The violence SOME of them will bring could be the Pearl Harbor, French conquest, UK bombing that gets people to understand that ALL islam declared war on the entire world 1400 years ago and does not intend to stop until they are destroyed or they conquer and enslave the entire world. People are going to die. Between 250 and 1000 MILLION people have died at the hands of muslims in 1400 years; and more daily. Other thoughts are welcome.

Not all Afghans agree with the Taliban, but it is a great pity that they are now forced by this DEM-MANUFACTURED CRISIS to leave their country and LOSE EVERYTHING !!!
The people who will want to leave Afghastlistan will be the brightest and the best … people who bringing Afghastlistan into the modern world.
What a catastrophic set-back for Afghanistan. NATO will have to return to fight the Taliban soon.

Who was on the plane to Germany ? Among evacuated Afghans hardly any local staff of the German Armed Forces!
Since the fall of Kabul, the German Armed Forces report that they have flown out more than 4,000 Afghan nationals. But now it comes out: only a fraction of them are actually local forces who worked for the German Armed Forces and have been in mortal danger since the victory of the Taliban.
The newspaper BILD learned this from a conference between the Ministry of the Interior, the Foreign Office and other authorities. According to the report (as of Thursday), of almost 3,600 Afghans who have been flown out since August 17, only about 100 were local staff, plus about 370 family members.
A controversial point: on Wednesday, the Foreign Office had stated that among the Afghans who had been flown out were “a considerable number of former local staff”.
Chancellor Angela Merkel (67, Christian Democratic Union) had also declared that she wanted “above all” to bring local Afghan forces to Germany.
This plan failed. According to BILD information, a total of more than 13,000 local staff and their family members were granted entry. Only about 3,000 of them could be brought to Germany in the past months and during the evacuation mission of the German Armed Forces.

I agree that most Muslims do despise all non-Muslims. That is the basic attitude of Islam. Keep them out, that is the only answer and that will eventually be what virtually every non-Muslim will realise one day, though, unfortunately, it maybe too late when most people do wake up, and our countries will face massive problems dealing with the Muslim enemy within..

I agree, Ade. There are just so many gullible fools, who never seem to learn, who cause our countries to keep on importing the Muslim invaders. We need to keep the barbaric Muslims out. Nothing else can work.

To AF: there are different sects of Islam and some are less aggressive, but to say the Islam is ‘peace’ is literally untrue.
The word ‘Islam’ actually means ‘PACIFICATION’ … the military crushing of resistance to a martial authority.
Islam ‘PACIFIES’ opponents to Islamic supremacism by taking away most of their human rights and civil liberties. Islam creates ‘peace’ by removing the possibility of protest against Islamic dictatorship.
Islam’s peace is the peace of the graveyard.

Muslims are required by SHARIA LAW TO DESPISE and SHOW HOSTILITY to the KUFAAR ‘for the sake of Allah’.
Dr. Thomas Sarholz, (late colonel in the Bundeswehr) is correct. His claim is supported by the CANONICAL, ISLAMIC TEACHING called ‘AL WALAA WAL BARAA’ (love towards Muslims and hatred directed from Muslims against kafirs … thus ‘Fraternity and Apartheid’ … roughly).
Muslims will almost never invite kafirs into their homes and if they do, it will be for the purposes of proselytism or business.
Muslims are required to maintain APARTHEID from kafirs.
-Imam Abdul-Latif ibn Abdur-Rahman Rahimullah said, “It is not possible for someone to realize Tawheed (Islamic faith) and act upon it, and yet not be HOSTILE against the mushrikeen (i.e. wrong worshippers). So anyone who isn’t HOSTILE against the mushrikeen, then it cannot be said that he acts upon Tawheed nor that he realizes it.” [ad-Durar as-Saniyyah 8/167]
– “The Muslim should regard the Kuffaar as ENEMIES and HATE them because of their kufr (wrong belief), just as he hates their kufr (disbelief) itself.” – from Umar Sulayman ‘Abd-Allaah al-Ashqar, “Belief in Allah”
-“The doctrine of al Walaa wal Baraa is the REAL IMAGE for the actual practice of this faith.” – source “Al Walaa wal Baraa According to the Aqeedah of the Salaf”, by Sheikh Muhammad Saeed al Qatani, authoritative Saudi Sharia lawyer and imam at the Abu Bakr and Al Furqan Mosques in Mecca.

Germany: Former Afghanistan commander warns against accepting many local Afghan forces: ‘They despise us’
…………………
Dr. Thomas Sarholz is right. This was just a paycheck for most of these Muslims. This is the main reason why the Afghan army–better trained and equipped than the Taliban–folded so fast. Only a few were ever committed to fighting the Taliban to begin with.
And worse–have we forgotten the masses of “green on blue” Jihad terror attacks?
Infidel says
Yeah, Dr. Thomas Sarholz is right, and as President Trump mentioned in his speech last weekend, the Afghan army was very highly paid – in fact, in hindsight, very overpaid! Yeah, they hadn’t been paid in 7 months, but that’s the problem of the Afghan government, or whatever passed for it. We can’t keep paying them forever: I wonder how well our soldiers get paid in comparison to the Afghans?
Since we’re still maintaining the charade of Turkey being an ally, a ‘facesaving’ move might be to have them fill in everywhere that US troops are needed. Let them have whatever relationship they want w/ the Taliban, ISIS-K and al Qaeda. I don’t expect anything from this administration, but a future GOP one could tell Erdogan that if anything happens from Afghanistan under such an arrangement (say another 9/11), he’ll be held responsible. Once that’s understood, let Turkey work ISIS-K, Taliban, Pakistan (their closest ally) and see how it works
gravenimage says
True, Infidel.

The West keeps falling for it. As if we didn’t have problems with the Muslims in our countries already, now they’re going to bring in thousands, perhaps millions more.
It’s as if we live in a parallel universe where everyone is a lunatic and logic, common sense doesn’t exist. No matter how many little girls are gang-raped, no matter how much terrorism Muslims are responsible for, including Afghans and Syrians, the asinine project of ‘saving these poor refugees’ never ends.
What’s most sickening is that the same people pushing for this to happen, to pollute western populations with dangerous thugs from other lands is that they’ll never have to suffer directly from their idiotic and criminal decisions.
Over time we’ll hear of more and more isolated stories of white girls being gang-raped, sold into sex-slavery or killed by Muslim gangs and ofc many such cases have happened already. As JW just recently reported, a Muslim killed an Asian lady standing by a bus stop in Canada for ISIS, no one cares and the madness continues.
It was bad enough when they were brutalizing women in their own countries but now we’re bringing them here to do the same to our citizens. Nothing will be done, as these vermin multiply like rats and become a massive population and life becomes intolerable for women, gays and non-Muslims who oppose Islam.
It never had to happen but it will because of the intentional decisions by evil people in high positions, most of whom will be dead or gone when the problem grows exponentially and it’ll be ordinary people who’ll suffer the terrible consequences.
tim gallagher says
Spot on, Fitna. That is what will happen with these new Muslims in far too many cases. Your first sentence sums it up perfectly. Our countries just keep falling for it. Seriously, with all the trouble Muslims keep causing in all our countries, you would think almost every one would have woken up by now. So many slow, slow learners we have in our countries who keep on making the same dumb mistake over and over again.
Fitna says
Thanks Tim and agreed, reminds me of Einstein’s quote, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.
There are Lefty loons out there who genuinely believe if we bring in enough Muslims and show them how nice we are, that will change ‘hearts and minds.’ It’s fantasist thinking and unfortunately they don’t acknowledge when their project has failed.
For ages the Left has seen the Right as the big bad wolf and the rest of the world are just victims of the Right’s policies. There’s also a certain arrogant paternalism, as if the brown people can’t really think for themselves and need to be saved by white people.
These people are nowhere to be found when their pet Syrians and Afghans (and other Muslims) are arrested for rape and murder in their host nations.
I recall some cynical Leftists even saying it’s ok if some innocents die, because the greater good is to save the fake refugees/invaders. Of course as long as it’s not their family member that are blown up in terrorist attacks or car-rammings, they don’t care.
Leftists are the right key that Muslims needed to open western nations for invasion and conquest. The West could fall as 57 other nations did before and become another Islamic outpost in their goal to take over the world. If Islam takes over, the good, creative, intelligent people will get wiped out and the planet will become exactly like Afghanistan is today.
The problem is that the vast majority of people never studied Islam or its history, so they are completely ignorant of who these people are and the horrors they will bring to our doorstep.
But it’s not all doom and gloom…so long as people like us exist and our ideas spread, then there is still a chance the West can be saved. But we need numbers and organization and we need to take Islam as seriously as we took Nazism and Covid….then eventually they can be defeated.
tim gallagher says
Totally agree, Fitna. The Left logically should hate everything about islam – its misogyny, its hatred of gays, etc. But the Left hate our western way of life and they see the Muslims as their allies in taking down the western way of life. A you mention, at least there are quite a few people who are awake to islam’s vile nature and the number is surely growing. I have noticed a few of my left wing friends and family members changing their attitude towards Islam over the years. The terrorist attacks and other evidence seems to get through eventually. As you say, it is not all doom and gloom and I live in hope that enough of the populations of our countries will wake the hell up in time and force our politicians to get tough when dealing with islam. There’s still a long way to go though.
