first reading this author. I love this type of romance and generally I loved the book. the reason I did not give a perfect rating is because towards the end it felt like disjointed and repetitive. I also felt like the background was meh and did not necessarily add much to the plot. the female lead turned almost pathetic towards the end. anyway good book all in all

loved this story, not sure if I would have been able to adapt as the female lead did, but it shows that people can adapt to situations

When she got older, she found there were others in the world like her and devoured their writing, loving every dark word.
