First I loved the setting. The Highlands are breathtaking and I can't imagine a better setting for romance. The two main characters were fun to watch come together. I think Lachlan has the better sense of humor. Cairstin wad a bit uptight but thawed a bit being around Lachlan. I liked the story line, an American woman and Scottish man working together and falling in love. As with any good romance there is some misunderstandings that the characters work through to get the happy ending g but it is well worth it. Take a chance on this one and enjoy a Highland fling
Having read Because of Them earlier this year I've been looking forward to picking up more of Ms.Macomb's work ever since! So when this book was announced i knew i had to pick it up next! I enjoyed this story!
(Cairy) Cairstine's journey pulled me in! I really liked getting to see her new start and how'd she tackle things in her life. I so enjoyed what Lachlan brought to the story and the chemistry between them. I loved how it was set in Scotland and how i felt many things with these characters throughout!
With Highland Fling, Ms.Macomb has created such a good read that'll be sure to grab your attention quickly! I'm looking forward to more from her!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from WordSmith Publicity / the author*
Cairy is from Texas and a marketing administrator and Lachlan is from Scotland. They meet at the ski resort in the Highlands. Cairy doesn't like Lachlan but she does like his physique. She also meets two male florists who become her friends along with a transplanted American wife. I enjoyed the characters, the scenario, and the dialog.
