If you are looking for a steamy, magical read look no further than the Stockings Were Hung Anthology, it has something for everyone and I guarantee it will fill you with holiday cheer. I struggled to pick a favourite out of these magical reads and it’s certainly going to be read again and again. Christmas is my favourite time of year so this anthology was always going to be on my radar but what I really loved was getting the opportunity to find new authors mixed in with favourites.
If you love single dad romance you will love Our Christmas Surprise by S.L. Sterling and than there’s a great family and friends story in Christmas 911 by Cara Cee add in all the other short reads and I’m sure you will find a few to fall in love with. I highly recommend this Anthology to all lovers of the holiday season so what are you waiting for one click this limited time gem.

Oh my goodness!! I don't know how to accurately describe how much I enjoyed this anthology. Each story has its own level of steam and characters you want to keep around forever. Personally my 2 favorites were Christmas 911 by Cara Cee and Snowed In by V. Angelika. I very much enjoyed seeing a character I was very familiar with, Allison Brown, get her own story. I would love to see more for the characters in both Chistmas 911 and Snowed in. They already have a very memorable start. I very highly recommend reading this Stockings Were Hung so you too can choose your favorites.

This was such a sweet and swoony read. The way it all unfolded between the characters was so sweet and I absolutely loved it. Not a long read but definitely a good one.

Another brilliant quick read. This was a perfect age gap story that was very well written with enough drama to keep me interested and wanting more. I would have happily read a full length story about these characters as they were so enjoyable to read about.

Oh my goodness!! This anthology rocks!! I read it in two days. I’m already ready to read it again. I am a complete lover of all things Christmas and this book adds the spicy to the holiday cheer. You will get a full range from sweet all the way to sexy with this collection. I dare you to try and choose a favorite out of this book, it may not be as easy as you think.

I received this anthology as an ARC and I'm delighted with the stories so far. I haven't finished it because I've had other stuff to do but I read a story a night so it will be finished in a few days. I agreed to post a review on the day that it was published so here I am.
I have only read one of these author's before, A. S. Roberts, and I knew I would be impressed with her story because she's just a brilliant storyteller. As for the other authors so far so really good. There's plenty of sass, sex, steam and sensuality. But there's plenty of ahhhhs, ooooooos, ohhhhs and grrrrrrrs. I laughed a lot too. This is an anthology I will re-read again.

I absolutely loved this Christmas anthology. I had a few favorites but all of them were amazing stories. Cara Cee’s was 💯 🔥 as well as SL’s . Perfect anthology to ease us into the holiday season🎄🙂❤️

Stockings Were Hung: A Contemporary Romance Christmas Anthology contains 11 novellas by different authors but all with a Christmas theme. I have not read all of the stories but what I have read I have quite enjoyed. I should mention that I had own and previously read one of the books, Screwg'd by Willow Sanders. A number of the author's in the anthology are newer and I have not read before, so that is always fun to explore. But I really wanted to read S.L. Sterling's story, Our Christmas Surprise, as I enjoy this author a lot and she did not disappoint with this story.
I have enjoyed these stories and found them to be sweet, romantic, fun, entertaining, with some drama and a lot of Christmas spirit and smexy passion.

Oh my! This anthology was amazing! It provided the perfect escape from a cold and rainy afternoon. I hid from the hubby and kids and left them to fend for themselves while I lost myself amongst the pages.
I knew there was a Default Distraction novella tucked in there somewhere and any mention of the boys I know I’m in for a good time! Brody and Amy’s story was romantic and steamy, it was hot! Gah how I miss them all!
There was so much a variety in this anthology it really puts you in the holiday mood and is certainly one not to be missed.

There is too much to say about this amazing Anthology I will say that is was fantastic to read all these stories from all these wonderful authors. The ARC was under S.L. Sterling's Our Christmas Surprise, is great read with wonderful characters and fabulous storyline. As with the rest of the stories the collaboration was great for an early Holiday read. Great job

This is a great collection of short holiday romances to quench your thirst. Loved SL Sterlings story and discovered all the rest of the authors in this collection. I love that they're short but still gives us the sweet and steam we crave.

For an anthology of Holiday romances, this one was filled with some of the most heartwarming romances perfect for a cold afternoon. A variety of contemporary love stories that gave me different tropes with different couples. A one-stop behemoth of a book with hours of just pure bliss.
I’m not usually fond of anthologies OR holiday romances because it’s hard to have development in such short stories. But I took a chance with this one and I’m so glad I did! This is a perfect way to enjoy a festive read with busy lives. Light, comforting love amidst a wintry background. Sometimes I just need a dose of love and I think I’ve found a way to do that!

This limited-time anthology is packed with 12 contemporary stories all set around Christmas and all deliciously steamy.
Each story stands alone and is a short, novella length. All are either a continuation of an earlier HEA, an HEA or a satisfying HFN.
🔹 Christmas 911 - Cara Cee
A fairly confusing and gloomy story where Jarrod and Kelly try to spend Christmas with each other. Their main love story was told in The Art of Revenge.
🔹 Accidental Girlfriend for Christmas - Rosie East
A fake relationship turns to something more in a story I just didn’t like. It was too juvenile and the characters, Harry and Lou, hugely unlikeable.
🔹 A Coincidental Christmas - Michelle Fernandez
This one night stand story was adorable with well-rounded characters of Francesca and Brennan, who had delicious sexual chemistry. I really loved it.
🔹 Something More for Christmas - Kim Findlay
This was a new adult story between college senior, Penny, and semi-pro hockey player, Taranis. Their insta-connection was realistic and made me smile. I’ll look out for other books by Kim Findlay.
🔹 All I Want for Christmas - Lyla Grace
Callie and Chase are celebrating their first Christmas together after their full story in Whatever It Takes. Callie and Chase are HOT but also so lovely. I just adored this story. I’m definitely going to read more of Ms Grace.
🔹 Sleighing His Bells - Elizabeth Miller
A pure, small-town Christmas complete with a sweet and sexy second chance romance between Drew and Maggie. I enjoyed reading it and was satisfied with the way everything was resolved.
🔹 A Christmas Distraction - A.S. Roberts
Brody and Amy had their HEA in Brody: Default Distraction. Rockstar romance aren’t usually my favourite but this was a very sexy story and a lovely way to heat up a chilly evening.
🔹 The Christmas Surrender - Jade RoyalJade Royal
Mafia books are definitely not my thing but this second-chance story between Elijah and Kelsey was still well written and so, so hot. This book is part of the wider Savage Kings series.
🔹 Screwg’d - Willow Sanders
This story just wasn’t my bag. It had a very 90s vibe - and not in a good way. Bear and Marley (yes, really) weren’t really my kind of folk.
🔹 Home for Christmas - Kate Stacy
Drake and Hailee had their HEA in an earlier story - in this case Long Road Home. A simple but effective story and I loved reading their sexy shenanigans, friendship and love.
🔹 Our Christmas Surprise - S.L. Sterling
I’m partial to a dirty little age-gap, dad’s best friend story and this one was that. Not sure that Ainsley and Spencer are long-term material but I enjoyed myself none-the-less.
🔹 Snowed In - Venessa Kimball writing as V. Angelika
College student, Allison, and her professor, Mason, keep each other warm when a snow storm hits. A really enjoyable story, really well written and super steamy.
There are some really good stories in this anthology and although there were some stories that didn't work for me, the better ones outweigh the bad. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this book and I would recommend it for a very hot and sexy time.

What an awesome way to feel good, enjoy some cheer and a bit of steam.
Many of these authors were new to me but one author I had the pleasure of reading the original story so it was like coming home to read about their Christmas as a couple.
If you need a sampling of holiday cheer, a little more about a couple you have read in the past or an introduction to some amazing authors and their wonderful words, the best place to start would be an anthology like Stockings Were Hung.
I have a special place in my heart for A Christmas Distraction. It is the story of the 1st official Christmas for Brody and Amy and the Band, Default Distraction. If you are OCD like me, start with "Brody" book #1 in the Default Distraction Series.

Are you ready to get in the mood - for the holidays?!
What an awesome way to feel good, enjoy some cheer and a bit of steam.
Many of these authors were new to me but one author I had the pleasure of reading the original story so it was like coming home to read about their Christmas as a couple.
If you need a sampling of holiday cheer, a little more about a couple you have read in the past or an introduction to some amazing authors and their wonderful words, the best place to start would be an anthology like Stockings Were Hung.

I fell in love with S.L. Sterling’s debut back in 2018, so I knew I wanted to read this anthology and Our Christmas Surprise. This is a fantastic set of steamy Christmas stories that will definitely get you in the holiday spirit. Ainsley and Spencer have been secretly seeing each other because Spencer is her dad’s best friend. She works at Spencer’s company, Finding Forever, as his assistant. One night, Spencer comes to Ainsley’s house instead of her going to his. They fall asleep and Jon, her dad catches them. What is going to happen now? All I will say is he’s not happy at all. Grab your copy and see what happens. I do have to say that I didn’t like Carly, Ainsley’s best friend, at all. I can’t wait to read the other stories in this set.

What a great anthology! I loved all of them and found a few New authors to me that I will be reading more of in future.
My review is based on A coincidental Xmas by Michelle Fernandez.
A second chance, forgotten friend, steamy instant attraction read.
After a night out with too many drinks Francesca has a hookup she can’t remember fully
Brennan and Francesca used to play together on holidays when they were young when Francesca was at her grandmothers house.
But they lost touch and life went on and years later neither one of them
Recognises each other.
After a night out and Francesca hurts her ankle and Brennan (Aka Conrad ) helps her home and they end up having a one night stand that neither one of them forgets.
This had me fully engaged and I loved every minute of this story.

I think it was last year that I was forcing myself out of my confort zone about Christmas books since I've been a big scrooge for years. I don't know, maybe it's because I have a new g-baby so Christmas is definitely looking up again, but I've really been reading these type of books and finding myself loving them hard. Stockings Were Hung had all kinds of different Christmas magic to them, and while I know of some of the authors involved, I discovered a bunch more after this anthology. There is literally something for everyone and/or everything for everyone in these pages so you definitely don't want to pass on it. I will read this anthology every year around this time because every story made me happy at the end of the day, and I believe it will be the same way for you after you hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

'Stockings Were Hung: A Contemporary Romance Christmas Anthology' is a collection of twelve novellas written by multiple authors all set during the Christmas holidays. Each story is a standalone and and there are no cliffhangers. These books offer something for everyone with alpha males and the feisty heroines they fall in love with. The stories are diverse tropes from friends to lovers, second chances, instalove, and so much more. The books are well written with great characters, interesting plots, and wonderful dialogue. The stories are emotional, with some angst, laughs, secrets, family issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed these books and recommend them to anyone who likes some Christmas with their romance.

I love anthologies..especially when I’m introduced to many new-to-me authors. And when it’s filled with holiday stories, I’m extra happy!
One author I was familiar with is S.L. Sterling. Her Our Christmas Surprise was one of my favorites in set. A great age-gap story, I loved Allison and Spencer’s pairing!
Snowed In By V Angelika was another winner for me. Kind of forced proximity, taboo teacher/student pairing…hot plus sweet for the perfect short story combo!
Others were good, as well, but these two stood out for me. Grab this limited time anthology and celebrate the holidays a bit early!
