I really liked the story between Dane and Melissa. She had been burned by love before and her military upbringing caused her to be very rigid with making plans. Dane comes in like a tornado and causes chaos to all her plans. The two are really made for each other!!

Much like the Until series Dane takes one look at Melissa and knows everything he’s been working towards in life has been in preparation for meeting her. He slices his foot in his mouth at his first meeting but he is bound and determined to win her over.

Melissa is a planner. Like over the top, plan down to the minute and doesn’t want to stray from her plan. There were times where I wanted to shake her to get her to see what a great guy Dane was but in the end she figured it out.

I felt there was too much back and forth between Dane and Melissa. Melissa would give an inch and then automatically go back on her feelings. I got annoyed after the second time. It got repetitive and I ended up skimming through a lot of pages to get to the end. I loved getting to see June and July’s lives and how they are doing with their husbands. Overall I liked the story, just think it could have been shortened with less back a forth from Melissa.

Wonderful to meet up with so many Maysons again, this story of Dane and Melissa fit in beautifully. I did want to give Melissa a shake from time to time and say “ open your eyes girl!” Dane totally got the boom but Melissa was dragging her heels until almost too late. Lovely story.
