FANTASTIC!!

Well, hold on to your emotions ladies because this book was killer. It was heartwarming and heart wrenching with a good amount of lust and steam. This was Jody and Nash’s story that had me feeling every bit invested in their friendship until the last page was turned. This was one of those books where the characters weren’t sure if their relationship was anything more than what the other thought.

I have read this author before and I have loved her writing style and the way she pulls me into her books. The emotions were so intense for me with this book that I should have bought stock in tissues!! I highly recommend this book.

Jodi and Nash are friends; they grew up friends. Well, he was her twin brother's best friend. After he died, Jodi was left to watch over Nash, for five years at least. She would answer his text when he was with "the wrong girl" from an internet dating site. She seemed to be the only woman who was immune to him and his unusual green eyes.

Theo Nash was a ladies' man, every woman wanted him. He wanted them, just not longer than a night. He needed Jodi in his life after his best friend died, they needed each other. Funny how that worked out.

I really enjoyed this story, it was heartfelt, funny, sweet, tearful, and perfect for Jodi and Nash. This author has a way of making you feel each emotion that the characters are going through until you feel as if you are there with them. If you haven't read anything from author Kelly Gendron, then you should read this one, I recommend any of her stories.

Jodi is living her life as best she can. She isn't sure how to keep her work life separate from her personal life, but knows that she just wants to be known as Jodi at work. She doesn't want to be Jodi, the coworker whose brother died or Jodi, the volunteer firefighter. She just wants to be Jodi. But, when she finds herself caught in a fib, she doesn't have a choice.

Theo Nash is living his life on his own terms. After a not so great home life, he has come to rely on Joey's family and Jodi is part of that. He's known her forever and when his best friend, Jodi's brother, died, Jodi was all he had left of his best friend.

They held each other close in their time of need and developed a love-hate relationship that is best worked out under the sheets.

Both are realizing that they know a lot about each other without knowing everything. As they travel the journey of discovery, there will be steamy moments, crushed feelings, new revelations, and a test of friendship.

Will these two figure out that what brought them together isn't what's keeping them together? Or are they too scared to find out what could be? This is a fun, short story with great values of love, family, and friendship. I did want slightly more when it came to the ending. It felt abrupt to me, but overall, I enjoyed the story.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster!!! I really loved Jody and Nash's story. They had me laughing for most of the book, but towards the end, the tears started. It's so hard to give details without spoiling it, but this book was so good I couldn't put it down.

If I would change anything it would be the epilogue. I really felt a little robbed with where they are in the future. The epilogue would've been a great last chapter and I would've loved to get something months or even years down the road that tells us where they are. I was so invested in these two and while the book was great, when I got to the last page I felt like I was left hanging.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

#WillingMeHim was a really cute romance! It was emotional, it was funny and it was spicy as well! It’s a childhood #friendstolovers story with a tragic background, but one that brings the two main characters even closer together.

I liked the protagonists pretty much from page one. They both have their imperfections, however, it was clear from very early on that they liked each other because of these imperfections, because that’s what makes them special.

The book is calm and was over way too fast if you asked me. The chapters are short and you can basically fly through them. There is not much drama, which I appreciated in this case.

Overall I really enjoyed this cute story!🥰

WILLING ME HIM by Kelly Gendron is a stand alone, contemporary, adult, erotic romance story line focusing on twenty-five year olds App developer/firefighter Jody Walker, and bartender/sky diving instructor Theo Nash.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Jody and Nash) using present day and memories from the past, WILLING ME HIM follows five years after the death of Nash’s best friend, and Jody’s twin brother Joey, a death wherein Joey bequeathed his best friend Nash to his sister Joey. Five years would pass, Jody and Nash and best friends but a corporate retreat finds Nash pretending to be Jody’s boyfriend, and the relationship between our couple will never be the same. Returning home Nash ghosts our heroine until a call to go home, wherein Nash’s life is about to take a drastic change going forward. What ensues is the back and forth, building relationship between Jody and Nash, and the potential fall-out when Nash discovers his best friend’s request, and Jody finds herself on the outside looking in when the man that she loves, walks away without looking back.

The relationship between Jody and Nash is a best friend’s sister, friends to lovers, fake boyfriend relationship in which a slow burning attraction turns into something more. Jody has watched from the sidelines as Nash jumped from girl to girl, and Nash struggled in the wake of falling in love with his best friend’s sister. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Jody’s younger brother Aidan, their mother, and as well as Jody’s co-workers and friends; Nash’s Mima, her friend Betty Jean, and his father Allen.

WILLING ME HIM is an emotional story of loss and grief, friendships and love. The premise is heart breaking yet engaging; the romance is seductive; the characters are struggling but energetic and dynamic.

The premise of being left a friend in a last will and testament was what intrigued me about this book.
I liked the way it affected the characters and their feelings. It is very unique and I liked this premise a lot.
Jody is pretty chill, a hard worker, not demanding and she’s likable.
She’s suffered the tremendous loss of her twin brother, so there’s definitely trauma and issues hiding.
Theo “Nash” was Jody’s brother Joey’s best friend since childhood, he’s known as a womanizer and not taken seriously by people. He’s the “good time” type of guy if you aren’t looking deeper.
He and Jody have a quirky friendship, it’s based on her brothers friendship with him, yet obviously as adults they’ve formed their own relationship.
I think they are bonded over their mutual loss and their history, but they also have gotten to know each other separate from Joey.
The fake romance aspect is fun and cute. I already had hints that the two are indeed attracted to each other so I enjoyed that game and the awkwardness.
I enjoyed their banter, their heated arguments and the moments when they were really “there” for each other.
The sexual things in the first half of the book kind of gave me immature vibes, the characters are in their mid twenties, so I was a bit nervous I wasn’t going to be able to enjoy. That changed and the chemistry and the sexy times were much better as I got further into the book.
It was an enjoyable story, the emotional aspect is always there, but it wasn’t overwhelming.
The characters are likable, I enjoyed how the relationship developed and the ending was really well done.

I adored this story from the get-go! It was amusing, sexy and emotional.

"If I'm being honest with myself and only myself, he's a hot-as-sin pain in the ass."

Jody Walker and Theo Nash made me laugh from the very first chapter. When Jody's brother died, he bequeathed his best friend, Theo AKA Nash, to his sister to watch over - a stipulation that's to last five years and now they're coming to the end of her obligation. I loved the banter between them, which always had a frisson of sexiness throughout. He was always trying to get a rise out of her with his flirtatious manner, and she loved to brush him off with her sarcasm. Their chemistry was a slow-burn sizzle! Things had been purely platonic between them until Nash discovers that he and Jody are supposedly in a relationship! Oh, boy!

This story was a fluid read, with lighthearted moments and steamy times, as well as poignant ones. I enjoyed the little flashbacks to the past featuring Jody's brother, Joey. Most of all, I loved the unraveling of Jody and Nash's friendship as they found new footing in an intimate relationship. Such a fab read!

This was the first book that I have read by Kelly Gendron and I loved it so much I will definitely be checking out her other stories. Nash and Jody are friends who have been since Jody's brother, Nash's best friend Joe, died. Joe asked his sister to be Nash's friend for five years and take his place when he was gone. In getting to know him. Once she got to know him better, Jody realized that he really was a good friend. Both are attracted to each other but for certain reasons (dating his best friend's sister for Nash and dating a cocky man-whore for Jody) they refused to admit it or try to do anything about it. They go away on a work trip for Jody and they end up getting closer and their feelings getting even more confusing. This book had my emotions going all over the place. It was heart-breaking, funny, interesting, and I loved the characters. Definitely a recommended read for romance lovers.

I was given a arc in exchange for a honest review so here we go.....

This was a new author to me so I dint really know her writing style but the cover appealed to me. The story line seemed interesting and was eye catching. We have Jody and Nash who Nash is her brothers best friend and they lost her brother to cancer. Her brother left her the role of watching over his bestie and she has done so well while keeping her feelings in check. Nash is a ladies man and not ever having a deep connection. Jody has had feelings but knows that she cannot have him. At times the story was emotional and other times the tension between these two was interesting. Jody seems strong and independent and you root root that Nash will see her as a prime catch. Its funny how sometimes we dont know whats right in front of your face! The chemistry when they are on is steamy and sexy. These two go through some up and downs and but you will enjoy the journey that these two will go through. I will definitley check out some other books by this author since it was a hit for me!

Outstanding😍

Willing Me Him is an outstanding story and the epilogue was emotional😢 Jody is one of a twin, but when her brother Joey contracts a rare cancer and dies, in his will he bequeaths Jody his best friend Theo Nash - for five years😳

Jody and Nash are like vinegar and oil, they mostly clash but on occasion are in sync❣️Without giving away too much of the story, I’ll just say I really enjoyed their dynamics and the storyline and leave you to draw your own conclusions when you read it🤩

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

Jody's twin brother, Joey, gave her one thing in his will - his best friend, Nash. Now it's nearly 5 years later, and their time as friends may be coming to an end. But not before a work thing has the two of them engaging in a little fake romantic relationship that has them finally giving into the attraction that's been present for almost as long as they've known each other. But what do the two friends do when fake turns real? When feelings move beyond friendship and into something more...

As they move across the line of friendship, Jody and Nash just might discover things about each other (and themselves) they didn't know before. Nash has baggage, Jody has a set plan for her life, and those two things may may it difficult, if not downright impossible, for them to maintain a real relationship.

Jody and Nash were so perfect for each other. I loved their snarky banter, the way she gave him so much shit and he reveled in it. And most of all, I loved how their common tie was someone they both loved with their whole hearts, and who knew them so well. This story is fun, witty, hot, and more than a little emotional. I'm warning you now, you'll need a box of tissues, especially at the end.

'An emotional read full of the good, the sad, the feels and everything in between. Grab those bookish tissues! This is a read that will be pulling on those heartstrings till the very last page.

Thank you to Kelly Gendron and her team for providing me with an ebook ARC for me to read and review. I appreciate it!

As a rule, I try to avoid books which carry one or more of my 'triggers' in which would normally put me off reading, but the blurb to Willing Me Him was intriguing enough for me to push past those barriers which would usually keep me out, allowing me to dive head-first into my first ever Kelly Gendron read.

Equally as appealing, was the friends-t0-lovers element to this novel. We all love and can agree that we are all drawn to the super-appealing enemies-to-lovers trope, but what mad this friends-to-lovers trope even more special, was HOW these two (Jody and Theo Nash) became friends and would at least on the surface, seem to be stuck being so. The clue is in the title, 'Willing'. After loosing her brother, her heavenly guardian angel left him his best friend, and an oh-so interesting clause--not known to Nash--that went with it.

Already, the cogs were in motion as to when and how Nash would find this juicy little piece of information out, and I was right along with him for the ride and how long it would take us through the journey in the novel, to get to that point.

It was then only a matter of time, the lining up of the stars in the cosmos, as to when the friends element of the story would turn into the lovers and boy, oh boy, I was NOT prepared for the amount of cheek-heating steam! If I didn't know any better, I would say that my phone was turning hot in my hands at the insane chemistry, tension and perfect dash of angst that had built up between Jody and Nash. It was H-to-the-O-to-the-T! If Kelly can write a scene/scenes like this, I'm definitely going to be coming back for future reads!

Kelly's overall writing style for me as a first time reader was a change I had to get used to at first, but slowly as I read Willing Me Him, I quickly got used to the ease and flow of her writing style and thoroughly enjoyed how she told the story not only of Jody and Nash, but the story of those in and around their lives which contributed to the overall plot. Jody's deceased brother, albeit part of the story only in flashbacks/jump backs in time with mentions throughout, was a true testament to making a figuratively deceased character come to life as if he were an active part of the story. He was the glue/tie that kept both Jody and Nash in his life during his brief time on Earth, and it was fascinating to see how he would do that from up above.

My only qualm with the story--which based on other reviews, others can agree with me on--is the epilogue. The finale to the main bulk of the story was stand up out of your seat & start clapping, worthy, but the epilogue left me feeling like the story hadn't ended. If that makes sense. It felt like I was left hanging wondering on what happened with Jody and Nash, like the story hadn't been tied up and wrapped up in a nice bow. Definitely would welcome a novella or short story to complete Jody & Nash's story, for sure.

That said, it didn't deter me from giving this read a good, whopping, four stars for my first ever Kelly Gendron read. I'm hopeful that my next read of hers will be equally as enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to the next read.

Great job, Kelly!

This is an awesome story with a lot of laughs, depth and besties falling for each other. It was very well written, very romantic and I absolutely adored every minute of this story. Its not a light reading book because it also deals with loss and Cancer but it is also a very fun, flirty romance and thats all because Theo Nash is such a fun character.

This is a story about three people. Theo Nash is close family friends with Jody and Joey. They grow up together, Joey and Jody are twins and Joey and Nash are best friends. Until when they are 18, Joey finds out he has Cancer. He dies at age 20 and in this story it is 4 years since they lost Joey.

What Nash does not know is that before Joey died, he willed Nash to Jody to take over as his best friend for 5 years and on his 5th anniversary of his death Jody will be freed.

In this story Nash has a huge crush on Jody but she has never been interested in him. Until one day he finds out that she has been using him as a fake boyfriend and he sees his chance for more and decides to use this connection to explore Jody's feelings and his crush on her.

This was a really fun story with many twists and turns along the way. I loved that Nash really let Jody in and shows her who he is and what he wants from life. He has a complicated home life and has to decide what he wants his future to be. Meanwhile Jody has to decide what Nash means to her and if letting him go is the right decision in her life.

This was such an awesome story and I absolutely adored every moment of it. I really hope we get another story about the younger brother because he was so adorable.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Jody Walker & Theo Nash.

One of my favorite reads this year. A bit of a tear jerker, but in a heartwarming way.

Jody Walker’s fraternal twin Joey died of cancer at twenty. As the story opens, it’s been almost 5 years since his death. Jody is best friends with Theo Nash, her late brother’s bestie, the boy who had been an extended part of her family since they were 10.

Since she’s been sexually active with her one and only boyfriend, Jody has been looking at Nash a different way. She’s madly in love (and lust), but doesn’t see Nash ever settling down with anyone. He’s a bit of a wild child (bartending and teaching skydiving) and a boy whore.

Nash has his own hidden feelings for Jody, but the unspoken bro-code has him protecting his best friend’s sister from guys like him. But things change when he drops off a thumb drive at Jody’s office and realizes Jody has been telling everyone that he’s her boyfriend. And what is a good fake boyfriend to do but to readily agree to attend the corporate retreat along with his girl?

Such a confusing spiral of emotions joins Jody and Nash. Their mutual connection to Joey. The sense of family from growing up in each other’s orbit. The genuine friendship they have formed as adults. A mutual unspoken love and lust. And Joey’s last wish, that Jody take care of his best friend.

Love the skydiving scene. How they both feel Joey’s presence with them on Jody’s first tandem jump with Nash. How Nash has always felt Joey when skydiving. The same way Jody always feels her twin when running into burning buildings as a volunteer fireman. Joey is their own guardian angel who wants nothing more than to see his sister and best friend get together.

Willing Me Him was my first read by Kelly Gendron. The blurb caught my attention and sank in. I just knew I had to read this book. And, holy hell. I wish Joey could have had his own story, I wanted to know this soul that drew all these people in. I could feel him pulling me in and wanting to know Jody and Nash. This story caught my attention from the get-go. This friendship, unlikely, and yet, meant to be, goes through some things. Phew- the chemistry- Umm the mouth on Nash, wasn’t expecting, but here for it all. Jody- oh girl- bad ass, yet vulnerable, the O’s Nash owes her…. Well, the man delivers. I was literally a, beside myself mess at the end. Want to laugh, believe in all that is meant to be, and get a friends, although, slightly forced, to lovers romance? Look no further.

Five years ago life change drastically. Jody’s twin brother passes away and her world is upended. But, she gets Nash, her brother’s best friend to watch over.

Jody is a volunteer firefighter, working full time developing apps and basically babysitting Nash.

When her personal life and work life collide, she finds herself with her pretend boyfriend Nash at a company retreat. Share space, company outings, and booze lower inhibitions. They both find themselves looking at each other with eyes wide open.

But, truths really come out as Nash reveals a side to his life he has never shared with Jody. They cross lines, boundaries, and thresholds not yet visited. At one point- I would have followed Nash anywhere- 😅

Bottom line- these two need to get over themselves. And, joey knows it too.

When Jody's twin brother passed away he left her his best friend Theo, made her promise to be Theo's best friend for five years. For the last three years Jody has been Theo's best friend, always being there for him all while ignoring he way he flirt with her because she knows it isn't real - she is just Joey's sister and will always be that in Theo's eyes. Theo has always had a thing for Jody but would never go there because of the bro-code, he couldn't do that to Joey even if he has been gone for 5 years. But when Jody needs a fake boyfriend for a work retreat they both start to see things that they never knew before and neither one can deny the pull that they are feeling towards each other.

This was my first book by this author and it won't be my last as I really enjoyed her writing. Theo and Jody were both very likeable and relatable characters. They were also loads of fun, their banter was on point and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I really enjoyed how even though these two have known each other for the better part of their lives that they still learned more about the other during this journey. I enjoyed that and there were some doozies. I was a bit disappointed that a major plot devise was miscommunication or refusal to talk. I get so frustrated with this it generally leaves me a bit unsatisfied. But I still really enjoyed Jody and Theo's story. They were fun and got me all up in my feels. I also really loved the 5 years later message from Joey. Really got me. This was a good one that I would most definitely recommend.

For Jody, losing her twin brother Joey, is hard but suddenly being named Nash’s best friend, well, that might be her greatest challenge. Nash and Joey built a bond that was seamless but for Jody, she had to fight an attraction she had for Nash. But Nash didn’t have an issue keeping her in the friend zone. Nash loved the life he built with Joey. He was in need of a family and Joey gave him that by including as his best friend. But Jody was a tough one to figure out though he also felt he shouldn’t want a relationship with her since she is Joey’s sister. After Joey dies, he finds himself spending more time with Jody and appreciating who she truly is even though she keeps him in the friend zone. When Jody needs Nash to pretend to be her boyfriend, will this duo realize there is something more than friendship between them? I loved the struggle they both had about being in a relationship. They each had made assumptions about the other but when they finally got honest and trusted each other, that allowed them to finally see different possibilities. Throughout their story, Joey is a bright light that continues to guide them even after he is gone which is a wonderful ray of hope and love. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

This standalone book is full of feels both happy and sad, amazing chemistry and a connection not quite explored. These characters and their ties of best friend/brother who died will draw you in and have the pages turning.

Jody Walker has had to learn to live her life without her twin brother. She is a strong, hard worker who works producing apps and being a volunteer firefighter. Her best friend was her brothers best friend before he died. She struggles with letting people in and letting them get to know the real her. She is balancing a fine line with her BFF Theo as she is supposed to be his friend but her mind has taken her thoughts in a whole new direction lately.

Theo Nash didn't have the best childhood, but his luck changed when he moved in with his Aunt Lauren. Becoming fast friends with Joey. Joey's family had treated him just like one of their own. When Joey dies of Cancer, it puts Nash in a bit of a tailspin. Good thing for Joey's sister Jody who he find a little bit of his friend in. Will Theo finally tell her all his secrets, including the feeling that have been slowly building over time.

This book had a true Kelly Gendron feeling and I loved the flow and characters. A good emotional read.

This was a best friends to lovers, fake boyfriend, brother's best friend romance. The characters were well developed, complex and relatable. The story had all the feels - I dare you to read this without a box of tissues at hand.

Jody Walker is a full time app developer and volunteer firefighter. Her twin brother Joe passed away from cancer 5 years ago and in his will gave his best friend Theo Nash to his sister. As his best friend she has to regularly save him from his dates.

Nash is a skydiver instructor and part time bar tender. He is also a major player and has the good looks to go with it. He has never made a play for Jody because he believes in the bro code and thought she was gay.

He has to go to her office to drop off a drive and sees a picture of them on her desk. She explains she has told the people she works with he is her boyfriend to discourage a persistent co-worker. He agrees to be her pretend boyfriend at a weekend long company event and their relationship changes. They eventually get their acts together and have a HEA.

When Jody Walker's twin brother Joey dies, he leaves her his best friend, the sexy, infuriating, serial dating Theo Nash in his will. For 5 years, she needs to take Joey's place as Theo's best friend. Approaching the end of the 5 years, Jody is faced with trying not to fall for Theo's flirtations while cozying up to him as her fake boyfriend for a work retreat weekend. What she doesn't expect is to get to know the Theo beyond the surface.

Another author I have never read before, and if her other stuff is anything like this one, I will definitely be going to check out her other books! This had some of my favourite tropes...the fake boyfriend, the brother's best friend's aspect, steam, HEA...and it didn't disappoint!

The only thing that kept it from being a true 5 star review, is that it seemed very "on the surface"...there wasn't a lot of description of the setting, really what anyone looked like, aka the stuff that helps me close my eyes and picture what's happening as if it was in front of me.

4.5 stars!

Jody and Theo have a unique friendship where they thrive on giving each other a hard time but care deeply for each other. Jody’s twin brother Joey passed away putting in his will that Jody take care of and be there for Theo. Jody loves/hates Theo and has since the day they mete yet underneath this is an attraction that neither of them truly knew they had. Theo keeps a lot of his personal close to his chest, Jody works so hard just to prove she can take care of herself, and they both loved Joey so much. They have a pull to each other yet neither one is willing to risk a friendship for it but as they get closer things start to heat up. Will this attraction make or break them? Are they willing to give things a chance and fight for each other or are they just going to walk away when it’s all said and done? This book was emotional because you could feel the love they had for Joey bleed off the pages and the way he suffered hurt them deeply. They are both so wound up in their own emotions that they have a hard time seeing what is in front of them. I loved Theo, he was truly amazing, accepting, and loyal. Such a great read!

Losing someone will cause you pain but losing your twin is pain on another level however, the love for the one you lost will have you following every wish/command/demand they left prior to leaving you and thus is where it all begins. Jody and Joey are twins and around age 18 Joey is told he has cancer and passes away at 20 with instructions for Jody. Now back up a little Joey and Nash were best friends; however, Jody couldn’t stand Nash but upon her brother’s death his request is that she take his place in becoming his best friend for the next five years. Joey knew Nash had a crush on his siter and he also knew his sister would never really give Nash a chance, so he ensured they both give each other a chance. She learns more about the man who was her brother’s best friend and he learns she has been using him as a fake boyfriend now how will it all play out in reality?

Nash was her twin brother Joey’s best friend, until his death.
Joey died five years ago from cancer and upon his death he bequeathed Nash to Jody.

A company event at Jody’s company forces her to pretend that they’re a couple, changing the dynamics of their relationship.

His mother and best friend both died from cancer. His mother Corinne was pregnant with him when she was diagnosed. She was terminal. She had a choice to undergo chemotherapy in hopes of extending her life or giving birth.
She died a few short weeks after Nash was born, a constant reminder to his father, of his loss. She was the love of his life. His father rejected him.

His grandmother had a stroke, now her health is failing and she’s trying to mend her son and grandson’s fractured relationship. She’s summoned him to reconcile with his father.

When he discovers details of Joey’s will, he feels hurt and betrayed thinking she was his friend for the past five years because of it.

Cute story.

Holy Guacamole!
My first time reading Kelly’s work and she had me close to tears.
It’s always hard to read about people losing their loved ones but this one... it hit me hard.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Jody and Theo. Their “best friend” banter had me smiling, chuckling, and even thinking they seemed more like siblings—to start with. Then it slowly changed.

The more I read, the more their relationship evolved.
It morphed from friends, to friends who do inappropriate things to “friends”, to more, so smoothly I actually wondered if I had imagined the disdain I saw in the beginning.

There was a lot of loss, pain, grief, a few surprises, as well as lighter moments. It really was an emotional roller coaster.

This book was not at all what I had expected but I enjoyed it immensely.

Jody was devastated after the tragic death of her twin brother, but she would do anything for him which included being assuming the role of best friend with his best friend Theo. She has spent the last four plus years being there for him whenever he needed a friend all the while denying what her true feelings for him really were.

When Theo became friends with Joey, he also became part of the family he has always wanted. He was lost when Joey passed away, but Jody has been there when he needed someone the most. He knew that they could never be more than friends but one weekend of pretending to be a couple may just force them to face what they have both been denying.

As close as Jody and Theo are they have both been keeping secrets but with a little humor and a lot of emotion they realize what someone else has known all along.

Bestill my hear, this is one of the best books I've read!! While this is a very poignant and bitter sweet love story due to the loss of a twin it is PHENOMENAL. I lov the way Joey's life is celebrated and influence on everyone's life is shown.

This book is full of surprises, twists and unexpected turns all the way to the end. It is nearly impossible to say much more without giving away key scenes (my pet peeve in reviews). I do not think this needs trigger warnings seeing as the description shows it deals with death of a loved one.

I STRONGLY recommend this book as it is extemely well written and deals very well with loss, anger, and loved ones.

This was an emotional rollercoaster that was definitely worth the ride. Jody’s twin brother died almost five years ago leaving her one thing she never expected, his best friend Nash. Nash and Jody have developed a dysfunctional friendship that they both truly needed. While going away for a work weekend these two discover that they might have more feelings then best friends. Can these two open their eyes and see what’s in front of them? Will they miss out on something that is meant to be? As they go through this journey they learn more about each other and themselves. This was a great emotional quick read that I truly enjoyed. This story had me laughing out one minute and shedding a few tears the next.I definitely look forward to reading more books by this author.

I seriously hate books that wreck me but I can't not give this book five stars. It gives you ALL. THE. FEELS!

What did I like? The author is a complete sadist making me cry like this. I enjoyed the cover and the title was a bit apt. Nash starts out as an unlikable character but slowly morphs into the like area. The story was beautiful.... It starts out a bit slow but this author doesn't disappoint. Five stars!

Would I recommend or buy? I've been reading this author for quite some time and every book I pick up you can see how far she has come. This was a beautiful story with high emotion but worth every moment. I'd recommend it to romance lovers, and I would definitely have bought this.
