Helix Rule is a madman. Some say it comes from who his mother was. Others say it’s because of his father.

Whatever the reason, he gets more dangerous with every passing day.

His brothers think he’s the favorite son of Stephen Rule. If that’s true, his favor has been bought and paid for with blood, sweat, and tears.

I don’t care about any of that, though. To me, Helix will always be that one soul who’s meant for me.

Everyone thinks I’m some fool who doesn’t know what he does when I’m not around. I know. I also know why he does those things.

You see, just as he’s the only person who understands me, I’m the only one who knows what lies beneath the madness.

We’re joined together until the end. Only Helix decides when the end will come.

DNF

☑️ Doormat and pushover heroine 🙄
☑️ Cheating asshole hero who’s not only cheated on the h by sleeping with lots of other women over the years they were together but by having babies with them ON PURPOSE yes you read that right. And he wasn’t even planning on telling the h about any of it, she just happened to come across one of his current 5 children from different women (yes, 5!!! 4 sons and a daughter to be exact) whatta stud, right? No. I don’t care what his reasons are for doing it (which apparently, he supposedly does have 🙄), it’s still a hell no for me and would never be okay with it. And he only stopped with all that because he got busted, he wouldn’t even have otherwise 🤮🤬
☑️ Unlikeable side characters 🤡
☑️ Mundane plot 🥱

What more can you ask for?
HONESTLY HOW DID THIS GET SUCH 5 STAR REVIEWS???
What a joke.

Obviously I DNFed right after the H and h has that whole confrontation about the cheating and the other women and the kids and she still took him back and stayed with him. Yep, I was sooooo done after that.

You ever read a book that is just so bad, it’s great? This is that book.

First and foremost, Helix and Kerry were so toxic. It had me so weak.
*SPOILER*
She had sex with his brother (who he hates), he impregnates a whole bunch of women just to impress his father, she tries to kill him, her best friend is killed in front of her and she cries for like 5 mins over her then worries about how her man is ignoring her .. It was all genuinely so entertaining.

Initially I wanted to give this book four stars and I understand why the book ended the way it did but idk. Ut just fell flat to me. Not to mention that when Helix confronts Kerry about shooting him all she says is “I’m sorry baby. I was just hurt.” Girl, this man is pointing a G-U-N at your head! That’s it? Be serious.

This book deserves less than what I’m giving it but it was so ridiculous and fun that I’m giving it 3 stars.

Ultimately disappointing, antithetical storyline...

I was attracted to the cheating elements ,but the storyline was so ultimately disappointing and overtly antithetical that I could not appreciate. Although the H deeply loves the h,he spreads his seed to impregnate factions in order to maintain power because he thought it would please his father.Everything he did was based on this premise which will be revealed to be as ludicrous ,lost cause as the story plays out.The last straw is an insane act carried out by the h,purported love of his life. The characters feels as if a parody to me.Uggh...just ridiculous!
This is the only title I had read in this series. This is only my personal take, others clearly disagreed as per arc of reviews.

The last installment of the Villains Club is definitely an intense and wild ride. You can't help but feel bad for Helix and the way he was treated by his family. He did some pretty crazy and cruel things all in the name of the Rules and to impress his father. I hated the way that he treated Kerry and the way she just accepted it. These two soul mates are the perfect example of 'the heart wants what the heart wants' as they were able to forgive each other for a lot of things. This book is entertaining and suspenseful with a lot of shocking moments. This was a great ending to the Villains Club series and a great intro to the next generation of Rules.

Nonstop Bombshells!

Just awesome! Throughout the first four books in this series, the author makes you loathe two people more and more; Stephan and Helix. How fitting that the last in the series is the brother you've come to hate. Kerry always had a place in this series but when you break down the nitty gritty of exactly who "Helix and Kerry" are, the bombshells just keep exploding and firing. The lies, the hurt, the love, and so much deceit. No matter how much these events break them down, they come back stronger than before. But these are not your run-of- the- mill- typical- dark- billionaire sins. No. These scenes, these actions, these confessions are jaw dropping! Amazing end to a fantastic series.

It seems like I've waited forever for Helix's book and it's so worth the wait! What an incredible story! Helix's young life is absolutely heartbreaking and tragic. It goes a long way into explaining why he is the way he is. My heart hurt for him and for this author to turn this all around and change my mind about Helix (I couldn't stand him) says a great deal about her incredible talent with words. Then there's Kerry. Helix and Kerry have loved each other forever. Their relationship isn't exactly conventional considering some of the things they've endured but, it's strong, all consuming and a lifelong love. My favorite line from Kerry is "For as cruel and vicious as he can be, he’s also sweet and tender". No one ever sees this side of Helix which is fitting I guess.
Bang is everything I hoped it would be and more. I couldn't put it down once I started it. Well done Miss Cook! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book is the last of the Rule boys' stories. Helix has been the odd one we could never figure out from book 1. He was so different for all the rest, now we finally know the full story of what made him like he is. He also found out his own back ground story his father withheld from him. How Kerry was able to stay with him and continue to love him was a true soulmates love story. I still have a few unanswered questions about the results of his many affairs but maybe at some point Abbi will figure out a way to answer those questions for me. My idea would be a "Where they all (next generation included) are now in the future". Overall Helix's story was so tragic and all he seemed to want in life was to prove his worth to his father and his never ending love for Kerry. I am glad to have been able to read all the books and hope to see what other stories Abbi comes up with.

Oh Helix…..

This man has been a mystery we have all wanted to solve since book one of this series and now we get the chance! He is everything I didn’t know I needed from a Rule brother and everything I never expected (in the absolute best way). My heart was broken for him and the past he endured- the things he had to do to feel accepted…

This is a story of true love, an all consuming soul crushing love. Kerry and Helix are soulmates but can they survive this wild ride? Kerry is absolutely his perfect match, strong and fierce, gives as good as she gets and she does it ten fold!

This really is a wild ride- buckle up and dive into this story that will have you picking your jaw up off the floor at the revelations in this story. An amazing conclusion to one of my favorite series! If you’re a fan of anti-hero, alpha ‘villains’ start this series now.

Helix is the black sheep son the son that takes after the ruthless Stephan Rule. I didn't really like him not gonna lie the way he does things and the way he treats Kerry. Just broke my heart for her so much through this book. Helix and Kerry have been together since they were younger and I feel like she lost herself a bit with him. Helix I really just wanted to throat punch especially when his secrets are revealed it was a hard pill to swallow. Don't get me wrong this book was amazing but if you struggle with cheating and violence this book is probably not for you. However, Kerry's power in this book may change your mind. will Helix succeed to do what no man has ever done before? And will Kerry and his family stand by him? You won't know what is going to happen until the very end and it will be a doozy.

Five stars for the penmanship. Different than the others, for sure, but creative from the first word until the end.

The author provided a warning for the story and I can imagine the warning is imperative for some, if not many, readers. I honestly was expecting worse.

The tag, Dark, already puts some thoughts of how “bad” things can be in a story, but Cook writes them so well that I didn’t flinch (too much).

This story is suspenseful and intense, but pulls at the heartstrings. Enjoy, but proceed with caution, if pain, or reading about pain, bothers you.

Bang is the finale to the Villians Club Series which features the last Rule brother, Helix, and Kerry, his true match for life. Their story is filled with unexpected twists, surprising revelations, emotional turbulence, and a true romance. This well written book by Abbi Cook is the perfect conclusion to this excellent series which I highly recommend!

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

What a torture trying to read this series! Read the first with great difficulty last year , tried again this year.. nope! Not my jam.. every single dialogue between the main characters seems to come out of a teenagers mouth! Giving this book a 3 cos I could just about stomach it enough to finish it !

I felt like this was a “good” wrap to the series. You spend all 5 books hearing everyone else’s view on Helix and now you finally get inside his mind and learn about his tortured past.

There is a disclaimer at the beginning of this book. This book depicted a delusional and toxic relationship. And some gore to go along with it.

I’m excited to read more about the 2nd gen of Rule boys
