Durr wrote: “Mohammed was a pedophile! Islam is a false religion! Only fools follow Muslim teachings! It is a cult of hate!”
Was Muhammad a pedophile? The case can certainly be made, from Islamic texts.
Is Islam a false religion? That’s a judgment call. The criteria people use for judging the truth or falsehood of religions vary widely. Is one now required to believe that Islam is true in order to hold a seat in the New Jersey state senate?
Do only fools follow Muslim teachings? Of course not. Many people who are highly intelligent, resourceful, and clever follow Islamic teachings. Now: if Durr had said “Only fools follow Christian teachings,” would he have been compelled to apologize? It’s more likely that the establishment media would be celebrating him as an “edgy,” “courageous,” “outspoken” candidate.
Is Islam a cult of hate? Well, the Qur’an tells Muslims that Abraham is an excellent example for them to follow when he tells his father that there will be “enmity and hatred” between them unless and until his father follows Allah (60:4). It also says: “Muhammad is the apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are ruthless to unbelievers, merciful to one another” (48:29). Does that make Islam a cult of hate? Not necessarily, but again, the case can be made, and again, if Durr had said that Christianity was a cult of hate, he would be a media darling right now.
“Man who spent just $153 to win NJ Senate race says sorry for attacks on Islam and comparing vaccine mandates to Holocaust,” by Shira Hanau, JTA, November 7, 2021:
(JTA) — A New Jersey man who defeated the former New Jersey State Senate president in an upset said Friday that he was sorry if anyone was offended by social media posts in which he compared vaccine mandates to the Holocaust and called Islam a “cult of hate”.
Edward Durr, a truck driver who unexpectedly won the State Senate seat representing New Jersey’s 3rd legislative district in last week’s election, said he supported “everybody’s right to worship in any manner they choose and to worship the God of their choice.”
“I’m a passionate guy and I sometimes say things in the heat of the moment,” Durr told news outlets, according to the Associated Press. “If I said things in the past that hurt anybody’s feelings, I sincerely apologize.”
Durr had never run for office before defeating Stephen Sweeney, who served as president of the State Senate for more than 10 years, by 2,298 votes in last week’s election. According to campaign finance filings, Durr spent a total of $153 on his campaign to pay for food and drinks from Dunkin Donuts as well as flyers and business cards. A Republican and a fan of Donald Trump, Durr campaigned on a platform that opposed high taxes and promised voters to “end single party rule” in New Jersey. The district Durr will represent includes all of Salem County as well as parts of Gloucester and Cumberland Counties in the southern part of the state.
In posts to his Twitter account and Facebook page, Durr compared vaccine mandates to the Holocaust, posting about the mandates with a photo of the yellow stars Jews were forced to wear during the Holocaust, and made Islamophobic comments.
“Mohammed was a pedophile! Islam is a false religion! Only fools follow Muslim teachings! It is a cult of hate!” Durr wrote in a tweet from 2019….

“Religious freedom advocates in Washington are protesting the jailing Nov. 4 of Epoch Times reporter Luka Binniyat, who has been at the forefront of reporting atrocities against Nigerian Christians.
“This is an alarming development. If a journalist, reporting on the government’s refusal to prosecute those engaged in religious motivated atrocities has been arrested for his report, this would be further evidence that the government of Nigeria is complicit in the ongoing egregious and systematic religious persecution in Nigeria,” said Tony Perkins, a commissioner serving on the U.S. Council on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), to The Epoch Times.”
But, one must not criticize those who worship the mass-murdering, **raper of children,** sex-mad, slave-trading thief, lying son of satan, thereby making them children of the demon snake, and carry out murderous attacks, rape young children…both girls and boys…and insist that everyone bows to their false god.
We are all expected to fawn over those who carry out such things as supporting their like-minded ‘brothers and sisters’ in every place on earth, and refrain from telling the **Honest Truth** about islam and the things mozlums practice…every day.

Thank you for that grim news, Somehistory.
Wellington says
Holocaust comparisons overwhelmingly fail (not always, for instance what the Turks did to the Armenians during WWI) and so this man was simply wrong to compare vaccine mandates, pernicious though they be, especially considering all the legitimate questions raised about them, to the Holocaust, but he was eminently correct in his assessment about Islam.
1 out of 2. But, sadly though tellingly, Jews will hold him to account, as they should, for his Holocaust comparison, but Jews will not demand endless apologies or threaten him for what he foolishly said.
Contra Muslims big time. He simply will not be able to apologize enough which is why he should have apologized about the Holocaust comparison but not respecting what he said about Islam.
Long way still to go until Westerners aplenty simply call out Islam for the utter rot it is and leave it at that. Not only no apologies but doubling down again and again when accused of Islamophobia, which is the lie of lies.
Sometimes, you know, doubling down is the right thing to do when condemnation of a totalitarian ideology is condemned. To Hell with that.
somehistory says
Dr. Jaime Glazov had a guest on his show…one can watch the video…who is a Jew and survivor of the holocaust. She compared what happened to her, her parents and others with the current “vaccines.”
Perhaps this Mr. Durr watched the show and heard her say it….more than once she compared what hitler did to the Jews and what is happening now with the shots being mandated and forced.
Wellington says
Thanks for that, somehistory.
Well, it remains a bad comparison I would argue. The vaccine mandates are indefensible but I am still, to put it mildly, hesitant to compare such to deliberately killing some 6 million Jews by the Nazi regime.
somehistory says
I understand. The lady said that the purge, murder, didn’t begin with the camps, but with making it appear that diseases were being spread by the Jews and to protect the public from these, Jews needed to be removed. I don’t recall her exact words.
But, she was saying that it was a process of isolating Jews from the rest of society and the end results…per the goal…were the camps and the extermination.
She said she sees the same thing with people being seen as carrying disease if they don’t get the shots; that the propaganda is the same now as it was then. The cdc has given a plan to fema for isolating camps to be set up for those who refuse the shots,
bill says
Such comparisons are ridiculous and belittle the Holocaust. It is especially pernicious coming from a survivor, she should be ashamed of herself. Nobody is forcing vaccine resisters into cattle wagons and freight cars and shipping them hundreds of miles in unspeakable conditions to immediate death or slavery.
He may be a Republican but he sounds like a bit of an idiot

Durr spent a few hundred to win the primary. He spent over $8,000 in total, over the course of the general election campaign.
Saying you’re sorry if people were offended is not an apology and should never be taken as one. He is as entitled to his own opinions as anyone else. Truth can hurt, sometimes. We all have to deal with it.
Infidel says
You beat me to it. On both points!
His apology was the same sort of non-apology that Libs give when they say ‘I’m sorry if you were offended’. It’s a backhanded way of saying that I’m not sorry for the opinions themselves.
On his expenses, he spent $153 in the primary and $5000 in the general. Still, a remarkable achievement: absolutely Trumpian in terms of how he won an election spending the least amount of money possible
IMO, he is a rising star and has a great future ahead of him in the America First movement

I wonder if this truth teller had been inundated with death threats from the Muslims and therefore thought he had better apologise. Muhammad, though I don’t believe that lowlife maggot ever actually existed, was a pedophile. There’s no doubt about that. I guess that saying only fools follow Islam is an inaccurate statement, because I have no doubt that there would be many extremely intelligent people who are Muslims. There’s over a billion Muslims so many must be intelligent. I believe that Islam is a false religion because, if there is a god at all, I don’t believe that this evil, hate filled, blood thirsty thing allah is what god is like at all. I suppose it is possible that god is such an evil monster, but I don’t think so. It is a shame this man apologised, but I can understand why he did. Muslims will kill people who tell the truth about their vile religion as they demonstrate again and again.
somehistory says
I agree with him that “only fools follow ilsam.” They are fools to believe that this filth has any merit, any value or virtue, and to make a practice of following a raper of children and mass-murderer because he said an “angel” told him to do those things. They degrade women…without whom there would be no children to carry on their name or their “legacy,” which following the evils of islam is not something to wish on another person, and yet, they teach their children to chant the worship of the piece of trash they call a prophet and his fake ‘god.’ And if male children, to hate their own mother because she is less than the dirt the camels spit on.
People are born with a conscience…it has to be trained, but it’s still there and a person has to deliberately go against what is decent and good to follow this islam filth.
There is a Psalm that says, “Foolish is the one saying there is no God.” This is not qualified with how ‘intelligent’ the person who says this may be.
The same applies to those who devote their lives to following the commands of a slime maggot: they are fools.
Wellington says
I agree with both you, somehistory, and tim gallagher. As I have put it before here at JW, if Islam is the true religion then we live in a very creepy universe and God is a jerk.
For the record, I would bet my own life on Islam not being the true faith but assuming, for argument’s sake, that it is then the sensible and better portion of mankind must emulate Prometheus and defy this horrible deity. So, either way—Islam true or not true (heavy bet on the latter)—Islam and its warped deity must be defied and denied. Better to go down with honor then ever submit to the cosmic bastard which is Allah.

and thinking, ‘this all came about from what’s his nastiness that commands males to rape little children, murder their family members, lie, lie and lie, ..’
I say with all of the gusto that this computer allows, The True and Everlasting God is not worshipped by mozlums.
God is Who created all of the wonderful things for us., because of Love.
“what” mozlums see as their ‘god’ is pure evil. They copy the hate-filled entity id’d as satan.
somehistory says
Just one more thought: considering the differences in the “rewards” promised.
God and Jesus: Promise eternal life to those who Love God, love neighbor, follow the “Golden Rule” of “Do to others as you wish them to do to you,” and to remember that, “No man has love greater than this, than to sacrifice his life on behalf of his friends (if necessary).”
The fake ‘god’ of islam: Promises ‘paradise’ to all males who murder someone for the ’cause’ of spreading the evil hate; and such ‘paradise’ consists of getting drunk and raping young girls and boys and even being there to see the slime maggot chief, raping Mary.
Easy choice for moi.

You are correct, but some posters only allow their own ****opinions**** about things to be mentioned here without the one posting being attacked for sharing beliefs. The ***denial*** of a Supreme Being is an opinion, not backed up by any facts or evidence…It cannot be proven… but some see it as the only **opinion** worth sharing and insist on those, such as I, who express a belief in a Divine Being, on a site that regularly has **expressions** of those who run churches, posted, to refrain. And those who choose to not believe with a vengeance, refuse to acknowledge that the **Divine Gift** of Free Speech applies to those who **believe** in A Life-Giver.
Whatever the site is labeled….it’s still a place of Freedom of thought and speech.

The simple fact that he only spent $153 to win will make a lot of people across the country sit up and take notice, including those behind the curtain.
tim gallagher says
I was amazed, Keith O, when I heard, I think it was on Sky News, that this man had spent such a small amount of money trying to get elected. Extraordinary. There’s a presenter on 2GB that I like named Michael mclaren. I hear a bit of his program. I would listen to more except that he has the midnight to 5.30 shift. I hear an hour or so because I get up early. I think that Joe Biden is too old, and probably has dementia, but I was amazed this morning when Mclaren mentioned the ages of other big time politicians in the USA. Nancy Pelosi is 81 years old he said. Mitch McConnell over 80 years old, and so on. I’m old myself, in my early 70s, but I thought, why can’t they get some younger people than these politicians? IN your 80s has to be too old for such demanding and important jobs. In Australia, it would be like still having Howard and Keating in parliament. It is so strange. What you say about this guy in this report is probably right.

I have to admit that I seldom watched his show, but mainly because I go to bed early and get up early these days. Alan Jones would make a brief appearance on Peta Credlin’s program and I enjoyed that. Yes, PRCS, Piers Morgan, coming from England, seems like a strange decision. I know very little about Piers Morgan. Alan Jones is 80 years old, and has had plenty of health problems, so I suppose he might go off and take things easy. He absolutely killed it on talkback radio for over 30 years, so he’s had a very successful career.

Thanks for the comments, somehistory and Wellington. I agree with what you say there, Wellington, about how, if the real God was this evil creature, Allah, then we, as people who do have a conscience (as you say, somehistory) and a sense of right and wrong, would have to tell such a god to bugger off. I keep thinking that many, maybe even most, Muslims must be able to see what an evil concept of God islam provides. A version of god who calls on them to murder people who don’t happen to believe in their version of god, a god who condones rape and pedophilia, etc, but, then again, maybe not. If you are brainwashed to believe that such an evil creature is what god is like, then I guess you can go along with it. Believing in such a horrible type of god certainly does a lot of damage. Islam has supposedly led to 270 million people being murdered in its history. It has to go off into history’s garbage bin. As you often say, and I agree, islam is right up there with Nazism and Communism as the worst of ideologies.
somehistory says
Regarding the thing about being taught that islam is true.
When I was a kid, my mother had a superstition…something she made sure we knew, and it was like a part of her religion.
She said that we were not ever allowed to wash anything on New Years Day…nothing, because if we did, someone in the family would be sure to die before the year was over.
She had “evidence.” Her mother died the year she washed clothes on that day; her little sister died the year my father washed his belt on that day, her brother died the same year someone washed….
For years after I had left home, I had a fear of washing anything on that day, but reason finally caught up with me.
And, in the Bible, we learn that the Jews did not expect the Messiah until the religious leaders said He was there; so the religious leaders didn’t say that Jesus Christ fit the bill…He wasn’t going to allow them to keep their “position” in the eyes of the people, so they schemed.
However, some Jews, such as Peter and Paul, ‘became believers.”
Peter had to be shown by God that things had changed, so he was no longer to view Gentiles the same way as before; and Paul had to learn from Jesus that he had stood by and encouraged the stoning murder of Stephen, an innocent man, and how wrong that was….because things had definitely changed.
But, imagine how they must have felt to learn that things were no longer to be as they had been taught.
Now mozlums are taught from the very young age, but some leave…because they recognize that islam is wrong. If some can, more can escape if they put enough effort into it, because God wants them to and will help. Too many **like** the feeling of being superior to everyone else and having the commands to rape, murder and lie to their heart’s content to be rewarded with yet more of the same, plus get to drink booze until drunk and not be killed for it.
PRCS says
“Too many **like** the feeling of being superior to everyone else”
No kidding.

somehistory, on Islam, I have trouble understanding how any Muslim can’t see what an appalling religion it is. Child marriages, honour killings, stoning people to death, etc. It is so obviously barbaric and evil. Of course, when you also have rules that you will be killed for deciding the leave islam, then maybe there are lots of Muslims who would like to leave Islam but are naturally too scared to try to leave it behind. I have no time for islam at all. That’s a weird superstition that your mother had. I have never been superstitious at all. I am a Christian but I definitely do not have any superstitious aspects to my religion at all. Of course, with all religions, it is all faith and we’ll only find out if there is an afterlife or nothing at all when we die. I could well imagine that there is nothing beyond this life except that I believe that Jesus is what he said it is, God and man, and if he says there’s an afterlife, then i believe that there is. Otherwise I’d probably say there is nothing after we die. I am sceptical about most things, but I do believe in what Jesus had to say. But islam- To me, it is obviously evil. I get sick of people who try to tell us that there is anything good about islam..I don’t know how they can be so blind.
somehistory says
I agree, Tim. My mom didn’t have more than a fifth grade education and no really formal religion. Her mother was part Native American, so she may have gotten a lot of her beliefs from her and her grandmother who was the medicine person for the family.
It was strange. My father said we weren’t supposed to count the cars on a train for the same reason, but he didn’t care if we did. He was Presbyterian.
I too believe that Jesus told us the Truth; otherwise, like you, I would be wondering if there was anything more to life. It would be quite depressing to me if this brief life now is all there was
And, I also agree that people probably fear leaving islam too much to do so, but the ones that want to are not really mozlum, are they?
Yes, the people who can’t see how evil islam is are blind.
I also believe that Christianity is the greatest foe of islam and its “jihad.”
Politicallyincorrectistruth says
Somehistory, you are such a hypocrite, but too superstitious and delusional to even see it. You just cannot wait for the “end of times” when your “magic sky daddy” will appear and magically kill everybody that you personally think should be killed. ALL non-christians for a start and then all christians who lie or have ever had a bad thought….of course all the christian child molesters, and my word there’s an awful lot of them…. TV evangalists next, christian car dealers, christian lawyers,…wow, where does it end? so i guess thats it for all people then, except for YOU! because your special.
PRCS says
IMO, Tim, Islam is far worse than Nazism, Communism, Socialism, etc., as it has what the others don’t: the imprimatur of religion.
tim gallagher says
Well, Islam has lasted far longer than Nazism and Communism, so that alone makes it worse than those other appalling ideologies. Who knows, PRCS, maybe Nazism and Communism will be around, poisoning the human race for 1400 years as well. Other absolutely foul religions, such as the old Aztec religion, with its human sacrifices, have become extinct. Unfortunately, Islam shows no sign of doing the human race a favour and following the Aztec religion into extinction. What a better world it would be if islam would become extinct.

Of course, there’s always been that dream for man, with the great imagination that mankind has, in an afterlife and rebirth, etc. Especially back in those way distant times, when most people lived such short lives, I can imagine they must have thought a lot about what the hell was beyond the short lives they used to live.

I was thinking of the similarity between these people, who buried women and children with the deceased “important” person, and the practice in Egypt where they killed and buried thousands of people for the “afterlife” expected by the kings and Pharoahs.
People were never meant to die, so the desire for an “afterlife” is a natural outcome of the innate desire to go on living.
somehistory says
And before I’m attacked for saying that about people are not meant to die, scientists long ago said they don’t understand “why” people die, that the body is designed to go on replacing its worn out cells indefinitely. Which would mean, if that process continued as it was designed, the person would go on living…and living..
