Worst product purchase EVER
Worst product purchase EVER! Purchased the bike online in 2021 for $3k CAD. First month the seat post stopped moving. Had to call a number in Quebec for parts and service because I'm in Canada. Nobody answers the phone. I call three days straight and sit on hold for hours and then finally someone answered and said he'd have to ask the guy on the floor who assembles them.
Finally hear back several days later, that he has to send a part and get a tech to install it.
Tech arrived and is baffled as to how it got stuck. The part they sent is something that can only be put in AT THE FACTORY! At the end of the call he says "Can I try something?" I said "why not". He took a large rubber mallet and hit that post really hard until it moved and was usable again. He said the only thing he can think is that it wasn't assembled correctly.
Another month and there's an update and the workouts keep buffering. Call support. Walks me through the pinhole reset, checking on the admin menu, downloading an app and scanning my network. He didn't like that I have two wireless networks. I turn the other one off and remind him that its 6 feet away from the Access Point in the same room. This issue is never fixed. Always our wifi problem. Bull! We just used it without workouts and just did manual rides.
A month ago our ifit promo memberships I received, Two for some reason, end and they start bugging for renewal. Nope. Last week my wife is going to start a workout and it says there is an update. She lets it go through. Starts her ride after the update and reboot, then in the middle the screen goes black.
Now it starts up and the ifit logo shows on a white background. Then it fades to black. No screen. Incline works. No resistance.
Go through all the troubleshooting steps online. Pinhole, Disassemble everything, check all the cables, Check control board and lights. I call support and tell them what I did. They say great thanks that helps. Then come back and tell me the bike is not longer under warranty and they need a tech to come out to find out the issue. I ask for a price and am told $240 plus expenses, oh and there are no technicians in your area. So I could be looking at a service call of $300 just to have them say I need to buy a $1000 console. Then I'll have to pay for shipping and probably another tech visit.
So its basically just garbage now. Worst product purchase ever.
