There is a very simple explanation for this link, but it will be ignored by those who conducted this study. The link between domestic violence and “radicalization” comes from Islam. The Qur’an tells Muslims to beat women from whom they fear disobedience (4:34), and calls for warfare against and the subjugation of unbelievers (9:29). If you take one part of the Qur’an seriously, you’re likely to take all of it seriously.
“UK study finds link between domestic violence and radicalisation risk,” Reuters, November 25, 2021 (thanks to Henry):
THERE is a significant prevalence of domestic abuse in the lives of those referred to a British scheme for people at risk of being radicalised, according to research commissioned by British counter-terrorism police published on Thursday (25).
The study, which looked at 3,045 individuals who had been classified as vulnerable to radicalisation (V2R), found just over a third had a link to a domestic abuse incident, either as an offender, victim, witness or a combination of all three.
The incidents ranged from a child witnessing abuse at home to people convicted for the attempted murder of their partner.
“This initial research has resulted in some statistically significant data which cannot, and should not, be ignored,” said detective chief superintendent Vicky Washington, national co-ordinator for Prevent, the government scheme that aims to counter radicalisation.
The research, known as Project Starlight, involved about a half of all V2R referrals made in England and Wales in 2019.
It found just over 15 per cent of those referred to Prevent in the 16-64 age bracket were domestic abuse victims – nearly three times higher than the estimated national figure.
While there was a similar prevalence of links among men and women, men were most often recorded as being an offender while women were usually victims.
In cases where a domestic abuse link was found, an Islamist ideology was recorded in 28 per cent of referrals, while far-right ideologies accounted for 18 per cent, the research found.
Washington said the study was about understanding the bigger picture around terrorism, and not about stigmatising anyone or claiming one factor necessarily linked to another….

The adult mozlum male beats up on his wife…wives…and his kids, sells his daughters for another adult male mozlum to rape daily, and teaches his sons that their mothers and their sisters and other females are worth less than the dirt they stand in.
The boys learn earlier that they **must** beat up on the females in the family in order to gain the approval of the males at the barracks, including their fathers.
I drove a school bus and many of the kids were from mozlum families. One came from a family of some wealth…they lived in a huge, very nice, house…and the mom would bring the little 3 year old out to get on the bus in the mornings.
He would fight against her efforts, and she would beg him to get on, and he would kick her and insult her, and hit her and she would cry and beg him to get on.
Once, his father brought him to the bus and he got on as if he was the best-behaved child in the city. But, he always fought with his mom and she cried and tried to keep her hair covered while he tried to pull off her scarf.
The kids learn early just what is expected of them and also with what they can do and not be punished.

There was also the 5 year-old kid who locked his mom out of their apartment because she was talking to me…outside, hair uncovered…while her mother-in-law encouraged the kid.
I watched helpless when she was knocking and crying and begging to be let inside. I don’t know how long they made her stay out as I had to leave.

As an American, knowing that really irks me.I have always been a live your life the way you want as long as you don’t force it one anyone else and you don’t harm anyone else in the process person. I have my established code that I live by but I don’t force that on anyone else and my code doesn’t harm anyone either.
I have had discussions with leftists and because I agreed with them on one thing or another I was mistaken for one of them. As soon as they found out that I didn’t buy in to the entire cult mentality whatever I agreed with them on no longer mattered.
I have had discussions with people on the right and some of them have said to me, how can you support that, it is a lefty point of view. However, when I explain the reasoning behind my thinking the right people will at the end say, I never thought about it that way, and I can tell that they are thinking and reconsidering what they used to believe or assume. Its really quite fun.
You couldn’t intervene. You may have been attacked and she might have suffered later for what you did. The government cannot intervene through law, they will just continue on in the shadows. It is a cancer. It is like letting snakes in to your home and then saying to them, get out, stop doing what you are doing. Snakes don’t listen.
somehistory says
Your are right. There was nothing I could do. Feeling helpless in a case like that leaves one depressed, angry, and hoping next time…
And, “snakes don’t listen.” It’s like talking to the wall, only more dangerous.

The really unfortunate thing is American society has always had a certain amount of domestic violence. Many Americans (and cops) will tell you that getting involved in those situations can be murder.
The difference is, American society doesn’t condone domestic violence whereas many in this new group that is a part of their life. So there are two choices, get rid of koranic dictates or get rid of muslims.
tgusa says
In America, these wife beaters women abusers etc hide their despicable conduct. It has always been that way in America. Do you know why they hide? They hide because they wouldn’t dare expose themselves to the greater American population.

Somehistory, these grim stories do *not* surprise.
I have mentioned here before my seeing a Hijabbed woman on the bus whose son–about four–was viciously kicking the stroller with his toddler sister, making her cry. The mother was ineffectually telling him to stop–but was smiling all the while, obviously basically encouraging him to hurt his sister. The little girl was wearing one of those sad baby Hijabs with an elastic around the scarf–she was too little to wear a regular Hijab, but at about two already considered capable of enticing Muslim men.
Just a microcosm of ugly and dysfunctional Muslim family life–*ugh*.

Yes, these anecdotal examples of misbehaving Muslims boys add up to a stereotype of Muslim youth behaviors. Even though Muslim boys are supposed to obey and respect their mothers, there is a lot of observed behavior like the above mentioned anecdotes. The young boys soon get the idea that no woman may rule over them and then their career of sadism begins. If they may mistreat Muslim women, then surely, they think, they may do the same to the dirty kufaar women who ‘have no honor’ according to Sharia law.

A very short concise explanation of the situation.

Guess what? There Is a link between Islam and domestic violence.
Pakistan: Council of Islamic Ideology halts Domestic Violence Bill, it’s ‘against teachings of Islam’
Jul 12, 2021 5:00 pm By Robert Spencer
“Pakistan’s Islamic Council halts legislation on Domestic Violence Bill,” ANI, July 10, 2021:
“The Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) on Friday halted legislation on Domestic Violence Bill in 2020 saying the Islamic constitutional body needs to review and gave its findings to the Pakistan government.
………………………………
So, stopping domestic violence is un-Islamic. But Muslims will disagree and try to cover it up …. taqiyya and more taqiyya.

Today few people in Britain dare mention the Koran and what it says, the subject is too dangerous. People are intimidated by manipulative accusations of “hate” and “Islamophobia”. Only Moslems may talk about the Koran.

If you take that approach they have already beaten you. I believe that the majority of people know what is going on and the government knows what is going on as well. The government is ignoring the problem while the people are not.

Beating your wife and terrorizing and murdering Infidels–all perfectly Islamic.

Robert Spencer’s observation is a direct hit: “If you take one part of the Qur’an seriously, you’re likely to take all of it seriously.”
Precisely. If you agree with the abuse of women in Koran 4:34 and 4.23-24, then surely you will agree with 164 jihad verses that decree Muslims should use violence, deceit and extortion to subjugate the dirty kufaar who Muslims must ‘hate’ ‘for the sake of Allah’.
Jihadism and Al Walaa wal Baraa (Islamic apartheid) are two of the compulsory, canonical doctrines in Islam that ALL Muslims are required to believe and practice.

gravenimage,
Time will tell.
It will be useless if it does not effect change.
Infidel says
But that’s not what the research was doing. It was probing cases of domestic violence, and cases of jihad, and pointing to a co-relation. Since it veered away from explicitly naming islam as the cause, it’s useless
OLD GUY says
A study had to be done to figure that out? Hell domestic violence is taught and practiced wholeheartedly in ISLAM. I wonder how much the U.K. spent for this worthless study. What a waste of money.
tgusa says
Right OLD GUY. They needed a study to determine this? We are in bigger trouble than I thought.
