“The report, which includes case studies from Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Pakistan…”
What do all those countries have in common? Yet even this report, although it is more forthright than many others about who is responsible for this persecution, still doesn’t explore what it is about Islam that leads so many Muslims to persecute Christians and others. Such considerations are “Islamophobic.”
“Report declares treatment of Christian minority women and girls a ‘human rights catastrophe,’” CNA, November 24, 2021 (thanks to Tom):
A report issued on Wednesday declared the treatment of Christian minority women and girls in parts of Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia a “human rights catastrophe.”
The study, “Hear Her Cries,” published by the charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) on Nov. 24, said that, “at its most extreme,” forced conversions could amount to “genocide.”
The report, released on Red Wednesday, an annual commemoration raising awareness of anti-Christian persecution, highlighted cases in countries including Egypt and Pakistan.
It also focused on Nigeria, which was controversially removed from this year’s U.S. State Department watchlist of countries with the most egregious violations of religious freedom.
The study found numerous cases of forced kidnapping and exploitation in Egypt, that Christians account for 95% of women and girls seized by Islamists in Nigeria, and that 70% of those forcibly converted and married in Pakistan are Christians.
ACN described the report as “the first of its kind to focus on the phenomenon of young women who are seized, because both their sex and religion makes them vulnerable to abduction and assault.”
Michele Clark, a human rights advocate who has studied the plight of Coptic Christian women, told CNA on Nov. 24 that the report was significant because it revealed the scope of the problem.
“I think the report makes a very important contribution, because it expands the focus on these abductions, forced conversions, forced marriages, from just single country reports to a much broader, much more global perspective,” said Clark, a retired adjunct professor of international affairs at George Washington University, in a phone interview.
“We can pick this up and realize, ‘Wow, this is not just happening in one place.’ This is happening in many, many places around the world. It’s happening in the Middle East. It’s happening in Central Asia. It’s happening in Africa. And so shedding a light on the scope of the problems is a very important contribution.”
The report was compiled by ACN’s U.K. branch, which has launched a petition calling for action to stop the sexual enslavement of Christian women.
The text was presented at an online event chaired by the human rights campaigner Caroline Cox. Speakers included Michele Clark and Fiona Bruce, the British Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief.
The report, which includes case studies from Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Pakistan, said that “evidence suggests that the coronavirus pandemic has provided the perfect breeding ground for acts of sexual violence.”…

At least somebody has got the guts to tell the truth which is not politically correct . But watch none of the popular media will carry the story ! Some of the media channels especially the left wing ones are the worst offenders against truth and humanity !

The treatment of nearly all girls whatever their religion in those countries is a catastrophe. Pregnancy in an underage girl is often a death sentence in many Muslim and African states, due to lack of pre and post natal care and primitive superstitions. There is also often a shortage of doctors who migrate to Western countries for better wages and working conditions

If they can’t tell the Truth about the scum who…**allegedly**…ran over all those citizens in the parade on the weekend, they certainly can’t tell the Truth about their other *pets* and the things in which they daily engage.
Poor guy! raped a kid, wouldn’t leave her alone after; abused and ran over his girl-friend, assaulted cops, tried to run one over….had to live without a *dad*….even though he said he saw his dad beat up on his mom, his dad was never around….abandoned his own infant child, and has a mental health issue….
So, they certainly won’t tell the Truth about mozlums abusing women and girls, kidnapping, raping, forcing them to bow…at least on the outside…to their fake ‘prophet’ raper of children, mass-murderer, filthy slime who was said to keep and trade sex-slaves, thief, lying sack of maggot debris, son of satan the devil. They won’t tell the Truth about the daily attacks on Christians in their villages, sleeping in their beds, in their fields working, in their churches, singing and praying, the slaughter, the burning, the torture, because mozlums are their pet project and they must, at all cost, protect their pets.

……………..
Two continents, but all Muslim countries–save only for Mozambique, but it is almost half Muslim, and has a murderous Muslim insurgency.
Thanks to ACN for this report–but even they don’t dare say that the perps are Muslim, nor that this is a Jihad.

send the report to european leaders , to see the disaster they create in the future

What I find deeply disturbing about this article is, Nigeria was removed from this year’s U.S. State Department watchlist of countries. Does anyone really believe that the Nigerian government is making a serious effort to stop the genocide of Christians, because I don’t.

Yes–just appalling. If Nigeria had even gotten a bit less horrifying, this might have been understandable–but it hasn’t.

Where is Michelle Obama? Remember “Bring Back Our Girls”. That was seven years ago. Has anything changed?

“Where is Michelle Obama?”
She’s still too busy while spending time in her multi-million dollar mansion on Martha’s Vineyard coming up with new ways that America is a mean country.

This is because Islam is an anti- Christian religion as well as a cult of brutal , cruel and even deadly misogyny..

Where is India in this context? Are Christians in India safe from persecution, or do we just avert our eyes because India is a putative ‘ally’ of the West? Personally, I remember when they were allied with Russia during the Cold War. They called themselves non-aligned, but they were really anti-Western.
Rafael says
Turkey is not on the list too. Most probably because much of the Christians were murdered or forced to leave their ancestral lands. There are very few Christians surviving in Turkey. The West’s Nato ally has a free passage when it comes to persecuting religious minorities.
Infidel says
You’re talking about 2 completely different Indias. The India of the Cold War was a crony-communist secular state, which was a de-facto stooge of the Soviets, but put on a front of being ‘non-aligned’. The India of today is an ally of the US as far as China goes, which should be the #1 issue, even if they diverge on issues like Iran, Pakistan (which the US still doesn’t consider an enemy) and so on
I’ve followed the news about Christians in India, and right now, what they are doing is really bizarre. They’ve converted large number of people in 2 states – Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. And this conversion is being done not by traditional Western preachers, as they used to be decades ago: that job, like other outsourced jobs, are being done by Indian converts, who are given a broad leeway to do it in whatever way they choose
The methods they choose are bizarre. If you are a Christian rooting for more people to ‘come to Jesus’, wouldn’t you want Jesus to be accurately depicted as he really was – a Jewish preacher in Roman-era Palestine? But that’s not what these Indian Christians do. They use a lot of Hindu symbology to depict Christ as a Hindu preacher/deity, wearing robes of saffron and having ? symbols on him. Here is an article of how they are using unheard of techniques to convert people:
https://www.opindia.com/2021/09/inculturation-indoctrination-techniques-missionaries-conversion-hindus-christianity
Under normal circumstances, a conversion into this ‘Christianity’ (looks more like the invention of a new sect than any existing Christian denomination) would not be an issue. But as the article notes:
Note that Subodh Rathi is an activist of a group that opposes the conversion, but he notes that there are no issues w/ people peacefully following their own faith. However, what happens is that the conversion process includes them having to undergo fealty tests that involve insulting/humiliating Hindus who’ve not converted, and that’s where trouble starts
I wonder what real Christians would think about these depictions of Christ

These evangelists should target India’s 180 million muslims for conversion: let’s see how that goes

What do all these countries have in common? ISLAM
Islam is the death of FREEDOM and nothing but a false religious based DICTATORSHIP.
Under ISLAM there are no HUMAN RIGHTS, only the rights of those in power.
