Crashing my car and spilling my coffee all over me wasn’t me at my best.
The Maserati owner in the expensive clothes was hotter than the weather in Tennessee. Sure, part of me didn’t want to argue, but this stranger in town turned something on inside me I thought was dead…
So I brought him to the garage in town, showed him the local hotel, and stayed for dinner.
He’s only in town for the night and, for once, it’s nice when a guy calls me his.
One night away from my life sounds perfect, but, in the morning, I realize Joel had a secret. And that secret can affect my friends.
I knew better than to get involved. So I spilled the beans. I’d see my friends again, not Mr. One Night.
But I didn’t expect he was more. And I misjudged him. I’m not good at apologies.
Letting a guy anywhere in my heart usually ended badly.
But there is nothing usual about Joel.
Nothing could have prepared me for what happened next. I absolutely did not expect what happened. Find out if the BOOM and a sexy stranger change my life, forever.

Victoria Pinder grew up in Irish Catholic Boston before moving to the Miami sun. She’s worked in engineering, after passing many tests proving how easy Math came to her. Then hating her life at the age of twenty four, she decided to go to law school. Four years later, after passing the bar and practicing very little, she realized that she hates the practice of law. She refused to one day turn 50 and realize she had nothing but her career and hours at a desk. After realizing she needed change, she became a high school teacher. Teaching is rewarding, but writing is a passion.
During all this time, she always wrote stories to entertain herself or calm down. Her parents are practical minded people demanding a job, and Victoria spent too many years living other people’s dreams, but when she sat down to see what skill she had that matched what she enjoyed doing, writing became so obvious. The middle school year book when someone wrote in it that one day she’d be a writer made sense when she turned thirty.
Besides her full time job of teaching, in 2013 and 2014, she sold on her own sold books to three different publishers. The Zoastra Affair, Chaperoning Paris, Borrowing the Doctor, and Electing Love will be published from Soul mate Publishing. Mything the Throne will be published with Double Dragon Ebooks. Favorite Coffee, Favorite Crush will be published with Jupiter Press.
Now she is represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency and she hopes to continue selling her novels that she writes. Moving up to the next level from hard work and determination is rewarding, and partnerships bring new opportunities.
Also she’s the Vice President of Progams for the Florida Romance Writers. She’s gone to multiple conferences and intends to continue. She learns and meets so many people at conferences. Her website is here, www.victoriapinder.com, and she’ll continue to grow my web presence. She is working hard on other projects and found the time to plan her wedding this year.
Before writing, her father had taken her to many star trek conventions and on her own she grew up as the only girl in the 90s at the comic book store. Science Fiction was her first love, but contemporary romance was her second. She’s sticking with contemporaries for the near future.

Wow

Yikes poor Kendal, she had a crap father (if you can call him that) that man abused his family. She saw her mom get beat and she learned not to fall in love. The great news is good things happen to good people. Then came Joel awwwww

Not for me

This story had good bones, but the execution didn't gel for me. Things didn't make sense, & the story felt disjointed. As soon as something got resolved, it was like Kendal went right back to the beginning, & all the getting to know Joel hadn't happened. I liked Joel as a character more than Kendal, but even his actions didn't always jive with previous parts of his personality. I didn't feel connected to them as a couple at all, and I kept trying to capture that. They even went on lots of fun dates thru the story, though!

Anyway, this was just not a good fit for me.

*** ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review. ***

A story full speed like the hero’s Maserati! Insta love between a billionaire who had too much and the woman who was kinda overwhelmed by all of this.

When Joel met Kendal, it didn’t take long because knowing that she was the one but Kendal didn’t believe in love and never been involved too long in a relationship, especially with her family that would definitely put someone in danger.

Joel had it all, money, a loving family, a revenge on his past when it was totally the opposite. I appreciated his honesty and loyalty towards his loved ones. Going full alpha on her but still retaining himself to a certain extent.
He was living this luxurious and opulent lifestyle totally out of Kendal’s world but wasn’t trying to display it. But somehow it felt totally surreal.

Kendal was trying a little too hard not to fall for Joel but her heart didn’t get the memo obviously. Guarded, a little cagey, independent but Joel was not afraid of the challenge. She had to survive for a long time and protect her mother.

Everything went fast and when Joel set his sights on Kendal, nothing’s gonna stop him, waiting and trying to pass all the barriers, until she was ready. The story was kinda good and it was interesting to see this alpha guy falling instantly for this woman who tried so hard not to fall for him. Adding a mix of steam and danger and you are all set.

The overall package was quite good but still I felt sometimes overtaken by the events. Guess I was trying to catch up with all the things going on.

Who knew that one accident was going to change their lives forever.

Victoria Pinder is a brand new author to me and she's up next in this addicting world, giving us a new character that throws it back to Until Jax (one of my faves in the Until Him/Her series). Until Kendal was good y'all, a solid romance, giving us Kendal and Joel's story packed with a little danger, steam, swoon, and always the boom.

Something old and something new. That's the absolute BEST thing about ARR's Happily Ever Alpha World. Plus appearances from some of my faves!

I can't recommend this world of books and authors enough y'all.

Joel is back in Tennessee to close the door on his past. Kendal is trying to support and save her mother. When an accident puts them in each other’s paths….BOOM! But things are not what they seem, Joel has a secret and Kendal is in danger. Can they overcome their challenges to have a life together?

I liked the danger and drama in this story. The characters were also likable. I, however, did feel like this story was overly drawn out. Overall, a good story.

Kendal is in trouble and she's trying to save both her and her mom from their abusive dad. But the day they were supposed to leave, she crashed her car into Joel's car. For Joel, it was like an insta-love the moment he met Kendal. So he wanted to help her and her mom. This is where it's weird for me. I don't know why Kendal expected him to sleep with her just because he helped her. And that's basically all she thought of. I liked Joel because he knows he needs to show her his intentions with her. But unfortunately, I still didn't feel the chemistry or attraction between them. At least not on Kendal's side. She feels wishy-washy to me. I don't really like her character.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Kendal Brown & Joel Norouzi. Joel has come to town to meet the niece he was never around for. He feels like he owes it to his sister to at least make contact with her. When he comes to town though he literally runs into a woman who he knows is meant for him. If only he can prove to her that what he feels for her is real and all he wants. Kendal doesn't know what to make of Joel but she knows she doesn't have time for him. She has to get out of town before her father tracks down her and her mother and kills them for real this time. If fear isn't bad enough for her she also has to deal with a broken car. The thing is she doesn't want to feel anything for Joel but she isn't sure what to do when the do come. Will they find a HEA or will her father make sure that never happens?

Wowza what a story. This story will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone one and everyone.

This is a standalone in the Happily Ever Alpha World brought to you by Aurora Rose Reynolds. The story has danger, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Kendal and Joel’s story. This is the first story I have read by this author. Joel is the brother of Bonnie in the Until Jax book but honestly, I don’t remember a mention of him in that story her dad yes but not him. He meets Kendal when they have an accident. He knows she is the one for him. She is trying to escape a bad situations and he offers her a way out. She takes it. The issue I have with the story is I was expecting him to be more Alpha if that makes sense. Also they were wishy washy the entire story wanting to be together and wanting to be friends to being married. Felt at point she used him and he was a bit of a doormat.

(3.5 stars)

I love these stories in the HEA world, you get a taste of new to you authors while at the same time reading about some OTT alpha's and their bossy ways and just how they get their lady. This was a new to me author so I was really excited about this read, and while this was a good story, I don't feel that quite matches the other HEA books. Joel was not really an alpha male and was more of the go with the flow and let Kendal go at her pace and he would keep up. Nothing wrong with that, this was like I said a good book, we had a cute meet, whole bump into each other, then again with the car accident, then it was all about helping Kendal in her situation. The naughty bits were just ok, on the whole this was just a good story. I give this 3.5 stars.

Some of this story was a little mixed up at times. I know this is a short story and you’re trying to cram lots into it but It felt rushed. She’s supposed to be in danger and instead of dealing with that she has sex instead then goes to sleep while her mom is out in town… she just wanted to have sex every minute and I wanted to like Joel but he just let her take advantage of his heart and kindness. Eh this wasn’t a great story for me. I was excited to start this UNTIL BOOK since before the holidays I believe this is the first time reading this author… I’ll probably give her another try to see how his brothers story goes…

I was looking forward to this book because of it being a part of the Happily Ever Alpha World, but the story itself was flat. I felt like the author talks you through the story instead of allowing the characters to truly come alive. have read Victoria Pinder before and I didn’t love her writing style but am always willing to give an author a second chance. But I was again disappointed that the characters lack depth. The editing and structure of the story was sound, but the story itself is lacking.

Joel and Kendal

I wasn't a fan here. When reading this universe you have to expect insta-love and drama. This one brings that but it's like they were just set into the story with no connections.
Joel takes Kendal on a rich man's flaunting wealth date. Traveling and hot air balloons. None of it felt personal, just throwing money around. Kendal is paranoid her jailbird father is going to come after her and her mom with no real threats, just fear from the past. It felt contrived.
Editing was ok. I usually pass over errors but there were a surprising number here.

This book is all about Joel and Kendal.

With books from the Happily Ever Alpha World, you expect alpha males and insta-love, this book did not have that. Throughout the whole book Kendal is going back and forth about if she should be with him or not. Also, I felt like the author was just talking me through the story, I never felt a connection or anything. This book just felt flat. I never connected to the characters or the story.

The story line was good though with the former foster kid, not rich going after the poor girl and showing her what her life could be like.

Until Kendal is a story that has just enough angst and drama to hold you captive to their world and the storyline. Two people who have had terrible childhoods, however Joel is the only one who has fully escaped his past. As Kendal and Joel are drawn to each other it will be her past that holds her at arms length where her heart is concerned. At times Kendal will frustrate you and have you wanting to give her a good shake. Their story is emotional, passionate and has just enough heat. A love story that has its ups and downs but will win your heart over.

too simplistic

Although this is a perfectly well written book and I completely appreciate this is a work of fiction I normally love the boom! However in this story the characters were rather too one dimensional and I found the storyline too simplistic, everything was too easy. I prefer my books to be a little more true to life. It might just be me.

Forgot

Seriously, I forgot I was reading this book.I came back to it the next day, at chapter 18, and sadly couldn't remember any part of the book. I went back a few chapters, then forward a few chapters. Finally I think if a book is that bad I can't remember any part of it, why bother reading the rest or starting over. Shirley

Wonderful

Joel and Kendal were the couple I missed when I started reading Arman's story followed by four other brothers. They were as charming as the other couples. Kendal had realistic worries as she was falling in love with Joel. With a few surprises thrown in and an element of danger, this is definitely a best seller.

Unexpectedly and accidentally together

Kendall crashed in Joel but the boom was much stronger since it started the day before. She was running away and hiding from her father, he was trying to close up his past. These two had so much to live for and grow to trust each otner. Lovely story and great beginning to Adam's story, which I am looking. Forward to reading.

Joel & Kendal

Great story! I love the connections! Not only are we connected through Kendal, but there is also a connection through Joel. I love it! Such a small world! The story dragged out a little for me and I struggled a little with Kendal but it really is a great story.

good read

Short and sweet story but could use some more editing. Words were left out of sentences and sometimes the sentence picked up like they were in the middle of a paragraph instead of at the beginning

Not the usual standard

Really struggled with this book. There was no flow and the writing was stilted and not at all believable. I found the characters really annoying as well. Glad it was KU

Yawn

This book was boring. After awhile I started to skim. Then I just skipped to the end. All of the Until books follow the same formula and some are more engaging than others. But this Until story fell flat.

Until series

I was getting a little tired of hearing how the hair wad standing up on her arm. I really felt it was slow and just went on and on finally some action in the end and close to the ending. No epilogue about the future of the couple.

Confused

I guess I should have read the other series first. I have a lot of questions. I enjoyed Joel and Kendal, but never really connected with them. Now, Arman, I’m going to look into.
