Blackburn as “another global hub for the Deobandis and the Tableeghi Jamaat”… The Deobandis, who control many of the mosques in Blackburn, originated the Taliban.
Tableeghi Jamaat, whose mosques are known as “breeding grounds” for Jihad, is closely intertwined with Pakistani Islamism and vectored Islamic terrorism. Quite a number have joined Al Qaeda. It is no coincidence that so many Islamic terrorists have come out of Blackburn.
Now, the Jewish Chronicle, which has taken the lead on reporting on this story, has confirmed the Tablighi Jamaat connection.
But amid his racist rants, the trouble with police and interventions by the social services, he was quietly adopting Wahhabism, an extremist ideology to which many terrorists around the world have been linked.
He studied the teachings of the conservative Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat at his local mosque, the Masjid-e-Irfan. Over the years, he went on trips with other followers to preach to Muslims and non-Muslims.
In recent years, Akram attended large Tablighi Jamaat gatherings in Pakistan, which has the world’s largest following of the religion outside Bangladesh…
As his problems mounted, he threw himself deeper into the teachings of Tablighi Jamaat, an Islamic sect that teaches the Wahhabi ideology and has been banned in several countries.
The Chronicle has also confirmed Akram’s history of antisemitism.
Akram’s outburst about killing Jews came at a meeting called in May last year to discuss escalating tensions between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza. He had at that time already joined a number of pro-Palestinian protests.
Akran also told those present at the meeting, which took place near his local mosque, Masjid Irfan, that Jews needed to be punished and should be “bombed”.
No worries folks, it’s just “anti-zionism”.

This is really what the people of Britain want? Their grandparents fought the Nazis so they could now open their arms, embrace and welcome an ideology that’s just as bad or worse? What a waste of time and effort.
Michael Copeland says
The people of Britain were never asked. When they protested about all this immigration they were let down by successive governments, which did nothing to reduce it. Their governments have been successfully deceived, and appear to have made agreements with the Saudis (not made public, of course). Certainly the people of Britain do not want all this, but they have had it inflicted on them.

No, I don’t believe for a second it’s what most of us want ( the lanyards do, of course, but they can’t be counted as rational, informed people).
We weren’t asked about this, we don’t want it, and many feel that the politicians/civil servants who have inflicted this on us should be tried for treason. They have made a mockery of everything those brave service men and women fought, sacrificed and died for, along with all the civilians who lives were destroyed or lost.
Many of us voted conservative for three reasons – we wanted Brexit, we wanted our culture and history to stop being erased in favour of the left’s and islam’s version, and we wanted to put a stop to this mass immigration and mass illegal immigration.
That’s what we were promised, and that’s what gave boris the landslide.
And he lied or screwed up on every count.
I’m not saying it wouldn’t have been worse under corbyn, it undoubtedly would have.
But I will spoil my ballot before I vote for any conservative ever again (and I wouldn’t vote for the other ones anyway.

The Jewish Chronicle calls Wahhabism “an extremist ideology”. Unfortunately this conveys the idea that this is something different from Islam. Wahhabism is strict Islam, following diligently the early Islam as instructed by Mohammed. Wahhabism is true to Islam’s roots (Latin “radix”, hence “radical”).
The Jewish Chronicle may be using “extremist” to denote “supporting violence”, but Islam MANDATES violence against all other religions and political systems. Violence is orthodox Islam.

Except that Tabhlighi Jamaat ain’t a ‘Wahhabi’ movement: it’s a Deobandi movement. Wahhabi is affiliated w/ the Hanbali school of islamic jurisprudence, while Deobandi is affiliated w/ the Hanafi school. The jihadists coming out of Pakistan, Afghanistan or Bangladesh ain’t Wahhabis: in fact, w/ the exception of the 9/11 hijackers, actually few of the jihadists that have ravaged the world since that day have actually been Wahhabis. The bulk of them have been from other islamic movements, but all w/ the mainstream jihad underpinnings
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
To your point:
The late (murdered) Phil Haney, formally a retired DHS frontline officer and intelligence expert, had been tracking people affiliated with the Islamic Deobandi movement, such as the San Bernardino jihadists Sayed Farook and Tashfeen Malik.
His work at DHS was shut down by the Obama administration, prior to the San Bernardino terrorist attack – which likely would have been stopped.
Tragic beyond tragic – and also criminal…

I wonder whether there were others like Phil Haney who studied jihadist groups from a criminology perspective, as opposed to the islamic perspective that people here do. Such people would (assuming that they haven’t) do well to leave official law enforcement, form a clandestine ‘jihad hunting’ group – similar to Simon Wiesenthal’s ‘Nazi hunting’ group
Set up a distributed global network at least in all non-muslim countries, and target these groups on a variety of stuff – terrorism, human trafficking (like grooming gangs in the UK and ‘love jihad’ in the subcontinent), money laundering and all other crimes that muslims normally engage in. Also take on the global halal economy while at it. Since there is no consensus at a government level that these things are inimical to human freedom, these things have to be taken on at a quasi-vigilante level
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
Thank you for your reply.
Interesting idea worthy of further discussion.

This is much like the regular mafia…many crime *families* that all use the same basic tactics to evade the laws, use the same basic crimes…extortion, smuggling, drugs, prostitution, money=laundering, etc….to fund themselves’ and generally are not inhibited when it comes to “taking another for a ride, bumping someone off, or making them disappear.”
But, they fight among themselves when not fighting together against LE.
mozlums are the same….they have divisions, tribes, organizations, etc., but they all follow the same pattern: of threats, lies, violence, and do not hold back when it comes to the issue of getting rid of their enemies.
