In a closed door hearing this morning on the Islamic terrorist attack against the Jewish synagogue in Texas, FBI assistant director repeatedly refused to acknowledge the FBI was wrong jn failing to call the attack what it was – terrorism directed against Jewish Americans
— Josh Hawley (@HawleyMO) February 1, 2022
Why is this difficult? Why can’t the FBI acknowledge Islamic terrorism when they see it. And why are they even now defending their original asinine comments saying the attack was “not related to” the Jewish community
— Josh Hawley (@HawleyMO) February 1, 2022
Not clear who he means. Paul Abbate is deputy director, and there are several assistant directors. In any case, the FBI is institutionally committed to ignoring and denying the reality of Islamic jihad terrorism, much less Islamic antisemitism. That’s why they have to double down on their false analysis: to maintain their narrative.

The FBI has become, effectively, an enemy of America. Didn’t used to be. Is now. And one knows this or should know it. Yes, some FBI agents remain good people and do good work but the FBI overall is no longer good—and, again, one knows this or should know it.
One should also know that much of what is wrong with the FBI in our time is not due to outright malevolence, though some of it is. Much of it is due to just sheer willful ignorance and stupidity (e.g., how much does Christopher Wray, current FBI Director, really know about Islamic tenets and history?).
A terrible trinity nonetheless, i.e., malevolence, ignorance and stupidity. This most certainly is where the bulk of the FBI is right now, clearly in its leadership at least. And what a waste of a fine and necessary federal organization founded over a hundred years ago—during the Teddy Roosevelt Administration around 1907-1908 if I am not mistaken.
Damn shame. But a reality, one of many realities in the Age of Nonsense in which we now live (hey, if pronouns can be sexist and there can be 37 genders—or whatever—anything is possible).
It’s implosion from within and not attack from without (though the forever parasitic Islam will always “aid” in an attack from without on anything non-Islamic, so treacherous and a “bottom-feeder” is it). Well, descent from within is nine times out of ten more lethal than attack from any “exterior.” If history teaches anything, it teaches this. For further instruction along “these lines,” just look at what has happened to the UK, to Canada, to the Roman Catholic Church, to France, to Germany, to Australia, to New Zealand—ah, a long and tragic list though demonstrating conclusively that lack of proper resolve and accurate knowledge from within is invariably far worse than any enemy without.
Indeed, if my postings here at JW for 14 years now could be summed up by one post, it would be this one. I rely upon my own life experiences and my knowledge of the past to make the statement that I just have. If I am wrong about what I have averred in this post, then one has every right to dismiss anything else I say forever.

100% true.
And I say that while knowing personally a couple of excellent FBI mid-grade field agents who are wonderful patriots – and love our country. They, too, would agree with your analysis.
It’s mostly the deep rot at the top.

I recall hearing from Paul Sperry the other day on Breitbart News Daily on Sirius XM that Paul Abbate, this deputy director, is the son of a private investigator for Bill Clinton who helped investigate his ‘bimbo eruptions’ when the latter was first running for president, and who got promoted into the FBI. I also heard that Paul Abbate’s wife is a high exec at CNN, and is one of those who decides which stories get the high profile treatment and which ones get to be swept under the rug. It’s a neat arrangement that they have there
I believe that the next GOP administration – be it Trump or DeSantis or anyone else has the sense to just shut down the FBI, and build something new from scratch that includes nobody who’s associated w/ FBI, CIA or any of our 17 or however many intelligence agencies we have

Does lack of resolve and lack.of accurate knowledge, fully explain the FBI’s denial ?
I tend to think it doesn’t.

If it smells like garbage, looks like garbage, is in a garbage can and flies are circling around it….
but, “bo” soros, biden, etc., want to make people believe it’s some nice canned fruit mistakenly left outside. so, their fbi have to go along for the ride and appear 1. stupid, 2. complicit in wrong 3 evil. or 4 all of the above.

The only things the FIB are interested in is being “right” and keeping that taxpayer cash flow coming into their pockets … just like all sissy boy bureaucrats with guns. And, to think that when I was a kid, I wanted to be a G-Man. Vomit emoji.

The Muslim population in this country is at a level now where they can control congress with Soros’s support, buy politicians and DA’s and alter the election ballot count with Schumer’s help to put people like O’Biden in office as proof of their ownership of the fake news media. With God’s help the American people will get more people like President Trump in offices around the country, however, the evil out number the good. This is the worst time in the American History. Obama is keeping his word, he said,” He will transform America from the inside out.” and he has done it. This country would be so much better if the Republicans would grow a spine, stand up like patriots and do their job. Like the Democrats, the Republicans get fat and rich off the American taxpayer and sell the country to the devil. The American people need to remove the influence and advantage from people like Soros, reestablish the Judaeo-Christian morals and character this country was established on, reinstate the Constitution and the law. This President Biden is a national embarrassment and those that voted him in should be equally embarrassed.

The number one rule at the FBI is “Don’t embarrass the Bureau” so hearing one of the officials working there admit that the Bureau made a mistake is extremely unlikely to happen.

………….
Disgusting–but given what we have seen from the FBI of late, who can be surprised?
