Lucas

I was obsessed from the beginning.

And once I have an obsession.

It's best you don't get in my way.

Chanel
I tried to stay away.

He was the one who was whispered about on the streets.

The viper that, once he had a taste, would hunt you down and collect you.

And Lucas liked to collect things.

One of those things was me.

The first thing you read is that the hero fingered the other woman, and the heroine being a wh*re and with someone else fcking her in the bed. Sorry but this is not what I want to read in the beginning of a book🤢😥😅😅 the cover made me read this book though😂😂😂😂

The entire time this toxic couple been together like not exclusively and exclusively, both always push each other away. The heroine did that the most though. Like all the freakin time and it's annoying. Damn annoying... This couple NEVER KISSED each other for a long time. Seriously? How toxic can this be, not kissing is just wow nightmare.

The hero some time talks about his past with other woman and how he kills them after he fcks them. Like it's freakin normal for him to do that. He's in the mafia so he kills the woman who betray him, they were not in a relationship, just fcking so he kills them after they fcked. The hero never minds the heroine's feelings when he brings the heroine's to one of his ex girlfriend or ex bed mates, like the hero thinks that's okay. He brings her and let them talk like wtf? Seriously so fcked up. But when the heroine talks about someone else or joke about her with someone else, the hero gets so mad and threatening her again and again. When some guy stare at the heroine way too long like eye fcking her, the hero immediately grab his gun and point at him in seconds saying stop or die. Seriously? Selfish hero!!!! Dumbass. The hero also have a freakin obsession with smells, like he knows the woman's smells like and what he likes and what he doesn't like. The hero even kept the pictures of the woman's in his room, the woman's who he once fcked and even the pictures of them dead. SERIOUSLY THIS IS GETTING WEIRD. So freakin weird in a bad way lol.

The hero even shoot the heroine's friend who is a female by the way and it was only because the hero deleted his picture of her in his phone and that friend was holding the hero to make sure the heroine deleted the photo. He shoot in her in the arms but when he do that, it was at a family party and his brother's child was there witnessed it all. Seriously? What's wrong with the hero🤢🙄😒

And their relationship is sooo toxic it's like maddy and nate relationship from euphoria 🤢 See? Toxic as fck.

‼️‼️‼️TRIGGER: MAFIA, Blood, gun, shooting, violence towards woman and anybody from the hero himself, drugs, death, drug overdose, prostitution, bullying, killing, DARK ROMANCE, unnecessary drama, childhood traumatic experience, childish and damage hero and heroine.

I didn't read the entire book because some of it I just skipped it, but there are scenes where I find it more annoying and more fcked up than ever. And in the end of the book, is just not a happy ending and even the cliffhanger is so confusing and fcked up, like it's not even right. So many fcked up things happening in this book😂😂

THE HERO is known to be very violent to the heroine like he even say "It’s taking a lot in me to not hit you over the head right now and knock you out.”
When I read that I was like wtf??!

The hero even put the heroine's contact name on his phone "best fvck" 😒😒😒

BIG SPOILER:
The hero's father have been fcking the heroine in the past when she was whoring around, she was his frequent client that always ask her. But of course she stopped because he was getting out of control and crazier. The hero played the heroine on being with him and wanting her, when actually the hero's father is the one who wants the heroine and told the hero to play her so she can be his. WHAT THE ACTUAL FCK IS HAPPENING 😂

“You made your son come after me?” “I always get what’s mine, and you are mine.”

Even when the father grab and slaps the heroine and even punch the heroine one time in the stomach, the hero just sit there and watch not even defending the heroine at all. And then he said this:

“You were never mine. I just borrowed you,” he states, his tone cold like when I first met him, then he looks to his father. “Take her and hurry the fuck up about it. I have work to do.” He walks off, leaving me in his living room with his arrogant asshole of a father. “Looks like not even my son wants you. Don’t you see? We are perfect together.”

This book is just so freakin toxic and a freakin disease. Not worth to read for your healthy mind or even dirty mind cause this is too toxic 😂😂😂😂 And the author said it will be another book of them, b*tch better be joking!!! Cause even this one book is too toxic enough and too fcked up in a really bad way and you want to make a second book? 🤢🤢🤢 How can someone even redeem that situation with the hero being like that and in the end his dad and with the heroine situation???! Too fcking toxic, disgusting.

Bye book. Never gonna read from this author ever again😂😂

👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽Thank you so much for reading my review❤️❤️ For you who loves my review and follow it, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I did not get paid or be told to do a review on a book. I’m here just to write review about a book so i can remember it. Its my honest opinion😚 I didn’t know at first people will find me and follow me and trust me to be honest, I was surprised myself to look at the notifications from people who reach out to me😆 So everything i write down here on a review is based on my personal opinion and based on my true writing. I DID NOT COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW OR WRITING SKILL because at first when i was using this app for one year i didn’t know how to scroll down on a book and see the reviews from others😂😅🤣 I know, silly me but hey I finally learned my lesson 😛😛😛 Thats why when people assume i copy someone’s review i was like what? Because at first i didn’t know how to use this app properly and i didn’t know how to open someone’s review because for a year i never follow someone or add friends or someone😂😂😂🤣 (I’m laughing so hard) 🤪 AND I NEVER COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW EVER. IF I WRITE SOMETHING WRONG OR DOESN’T MAKE SENSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND BE NICE OKAY. 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽✋🏽✋🏽

I have a disclaimer down bellow if you have negative thoughts about my review😙😙😙

🌐🌐🌐➡️↘️⬇️➡️This is my own personal thoughts and opinion about the book so if thats not sit right with you or you feel I’m not being fair blablabla, please know that everybody in this world have their own different things that they like and don’t like. It may not be the same thing with you but thats okay because i am my own person and you cannot control me or tell me what to do. For example; i put ketchup (tomato sauce) on my fried chicken. You think that’s disgusting? For me its not and i’ve been eating it like that for many many years. You tell me to put another sauce and see if i like that better? I already did many many times in years but i still like the way i like it. It’s called differences between me and you and billions people in this world😊 be open minded😙 I respect people’s opinions about my opinions but in the end of the day if i say I don’t like it or i do like it, its up to me and its on me. And in the end of the day i always liked and show my respect to books and people’s opinions on books whenever that book is good or not good in my opinion 😊 Respect people’s opinions guys😙😙 I don’t want to write this down because its not really my thing to do it. To like address something like this when obviously i know the people who’s been reading my reviews many times and all the time, they are smart enough to understand and respect other people’s opinions no matter what their opinions on book or their point of view 😙😙 am i right? 💕 also there are people even though i already write “this book is different because i have my own taste of book” those people still comment my taste is this and that when HELLO… everybody have their own thoughts on books and what they want to read… why i read it then? I read it and give it a review because i have to read a book to give it a review… why not read the description book to understand before I’m going to read it? Hello just in case you haven’t notice, description books can be tricky because they write this amazing things about a book but turns out the story is so toxic. Maybe for me its toxic but not for you? YES HELLO THATS WHY US HUMAN BEING HAVE OUR DIFFERENCES, WHAT I LIKE IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU WILL LIKE IT AND EITHER WAY TOO. why i still write the review then if i just don’t like a book? Because I CAN and i want to, you cannot tell me what to do and not what to do🤪 if you still wants to be negative and be karens about my review on book after all of what i just write, i will never acknowledge you and simply ignore you because its not that hard🙏 I won’t respond to negativity comments🙏🏼🙏🏼 DON’T ASK ME AGAIN ABOUT WHY NOT RESPONDING TO YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS BECAUSE I ALREADY SAY IT HERE AND I WON’T BE EXPLAINING AGAIN BECAUSE WE’RE NOT CHILDREN SO ITS NOT HARD FOR YOU AN ADULT TO UNDERSTAND😌😌 YES MY REVIEW IS LONG BUT YOU READ IT ANYWAY AND ITS FINE ACTUALLY I CAN WRITE AS LONG AS I LIKE😎 YES MY GRAMMAR IS BAD SOMETIMES AND MAYBE ALL THE TIME BUT LUCKILY MANY PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I’M SAYING🤪 ⬅️↖️↕️⬅️↩️⤴️

Lucas Rossi is Keir’s cousin, we were first introduced to Lucas in the 'Changed Hearts,' duet and I was hoping we'd get his story.

These two did my head in, the whiplash, the too and fro the heroine kept on putting Lucas through had me gripping my iPad so I wouldn’t throw it!

Lucas has some serious hang ups, putting it bluntly he’s unhinged, he has a sniffing fetish, a killing fetish, many of his lovers turn up dead when it gets bored of them or their smell changes. Yep unhinged..

Chanel was a prostitute before Lucas found her, working the streets to take care of her brother and just to make end meet in their rough side of town.

To get Chanel where he wants her, he goes for her weakness, and that's her brother, he hires him at his bar, knowing full well that Chanel will come in full barrel blazing and that she did.

Sparks fly, attraction burns, these two detonate.

But just when you think you’ve got him worked and and you’ve even started to warm towards him he has you questioning everything when it comes to the cliffy, a cliffy of his own doing. A huge wtf moment 💣 which left me dazed and confused hence my 3.5 star rating, because that just came out of left field. Up to that point I had enjoyed this story.

This is the first book I read by T.L. Smith and it definitely will not be the last.
Lucas is a sociopath, and rightfully so with his upbringing, but still this man is over the top crazy!
Chanel is a young woman trying to raise her younger brother, and her upbringing is heartbreaking and cruel and vicious. Her choice of career path is devastatingly sad, but shows her to be a strong and remarkable woman.
This couple gets together in the most unbelievable way, the circumstances outrageous and shocking even to me, who loves the darkest books! The push and pull in this relationship is toxic and lethal! They are complete opposites and certainly should not be together.
But that ending, I did not see that coming...at all! It was mind blowing and so remarkably thrown at me in the last few pages, that I was gasping and cringing at the same time. Totally blinded!
I cannot wait for book 2!

***4,5 "Mio per sempre!!!" stars***

OUT NOW!

"It's a dangerous thing to play with the viper."

Wow!!! I'm probably still in shock of how things turned out in the end, and OMG!!! I need the next book ASAP!!!
This books was really good!!!! I freakin' loved it, even though it was dark, twisted and sinister!!!
If you think that Keir was bad, you haven't met Lucas yet! A man who is unapologetic and uncaring of the blood that he is spilling out!!
But the clever viper had found his match from Hell in Chanel, even though betrayal had broken them irreparable!!!

"Once we have a taste, we become addicted to the poison. And then, there is no escape."

We had taken a glimpse from Lucas on Keir's duet and I was over the moon when I realized that T.L. Smith was about to deliver his story!!!
And what story was that!!!
Full of passion and wicked ways!!! Full of intense moments and so many complicated secrets!!!
The viper had fallen for a girl of the wrong side...
A girl that wasn't backing down on the shit that he was throwing her way!!!
And he became intigued and addicted to her!!!

"The last thing she needs is me addicted to her. As things I get addicted to end up dead."

Chanel was a hooker... She had to do anything in order to survive and take care of her brother.
Now, this said brother is getting under Lucas's paws and Lucas is not a man that you want to mess with. He is ruthless and a killer. But she has no other choice but to get in his way in order to pull her brother out of this viper's clutches...
In her surprise, she is drawn to this dangerous man, but she is determined to fight him on in every turn...

"He possesses something no one has ever had over me -power- and he holds it in the palm of his hand, as if it were a toy."

I really enjoyed this push and pull between Lucas and Chanel.
Lucas wasn't used to this kind of behavior from women and Chanel was a breath of fresh air...
Also, her smell was so darn addicting!!! He couldn't ever imagine himself to stop craving that smell!!!
Chanel was feisty and kind of reckless since she was seeing danger and she was diving headfirst into it. I liked that she was giving hell to Lucas, even though she seemed to have a weakness toward him...
These two were delicious together in every aspect... They were hot, intense and their interactions were making me chuckle many times...
But they were destined to destroy each other!!!

"You're wanting something from me I will never give."
"And what is that?"
Me. You may get pieces of me, but that's all you will ever get."

Yep, I enjoyed this book very much!!! I devoured it in the space of three hours and I am anticipating the second part... I need to learn more about what the hell happened...
But I am seeing a difficulty on forgiveness after what Lucas did in the end!!!
OMG!!! I still can not believe this turn of events!!!
I'm just wishing for the next part to be released very soon cause I am dying here!!!
Lucas and Chanel were amazing and I just want more of them!!!

"He won't understand what you are to him. Hopefully, he doesn't realize it too late."

Daddy Lucas!

A mafia romance that starts with a blast! It featured an over-the-top, obsessive hero who falls hard for his lady, Chanel...by smell. Chanel (hmm... tongue in check), resilient, resourceful, and sassy, is a creative and unique persona, a nice departure from the traditional sheltered and unaware heroines, and their attraction was nothing less than heady with some push and pull. Side characters were fun: Brody, Chanel's brother and best friend, Merci. I loved the diversity. Mafia boss Keir and lady Sailor and many of the famiglia also made appearances.

While this story may be marketed as dark, it did not strike me as so. A few dark themes, sure. A mafia backdrop that predominantly depicted their growing attraction, this story is all about consent and negotiation, which I can appreciate, but somehow made Daddy Lucas less threatening than the ask-questions-later-killer he depicted. Chanel was able to make some cutting, if humorous, remarks to this violent mafia underboss without recourse. (I’m still chuckling over their repartee.)

Expect some similarities between the first duet, particularly in characterization, to this one though definitely Lucas was more volatile. An entertaining adventure from this author. Great pace, great spice, and great pockets of humor too. Pick this one up!

Sinful Hands INDEED. Oh my dark and delicious Lucas- and what a match he has met in the feisty Chanel. Like all TL Smith stories, this one starts out fast and furious, a dark and twisted tale of passion and intensity. But this pairing dials up that intensity- their chemistry is volatile and entertaining, and I flew through this story.

Like Keir before him, Lucas is ruthless and villainous, just the right combination of magnetism and psychoticness. He’s brash and unapologetic, particularly when it comes to his desire for the down on her luck Chanel, a “working gal” who has had to resort to desperate measures to care for herself and her brother. Only when her brother tries to help he gets her squarely in the web of one dangerous mafioso Lucas- and that instaspark kicks in and Lucas wants her.

Like always, we have a super alpha, over the top dominant anti-hero that’s equal parts sexy and depraved. Lucas has a fun swagger and arrogance to his darkness- he relishes his darkness with unhinged glee. But he goes above and beyond for Chanel, and I love watching a scary man move mountains for his woman. And Chanel is quite a surprise- she’s got a lot of fight in her- resistant at times, and others she gives in when it isn’t with the fight. I appreciated her cunning and her sass- and I loved watching her connect with this crew and go toe to toe with Lucas. Theic chemistry has a lot of push and pull, and I’m looking forward to getting more into their characters and deepening their relationship in the second half.

Of course, we have an epic cliffhanger that has us gasping for more and wondering if this fiercy couple has a chance at an HEA.

I’m DNFing a book for the first time ever. I feel grimy even just READING it. The whole Daddy thing was not it for me. None of the plot was even remotely believable, there were countless spelling errors, it was just plain poorly written, like a bad fanfic. I honestly might throw this book in the garbage rather than keep it. I stopped halfway through because it was just that bad. There is no chance in hell that any sane person would actually be attracted to a serial killer let alone want to be with them?? He literally murders a guy right in front of her and LEAVES HER TIED TO A BED with the dead body on the ground next to her and like 2 chapters later she hooks up with him for the first time??? It just defies all logic. Absolutely ridiculous, I’d give it zero stars if I could. It feels like it wants to be The Darkest Temptation, but it’s like a dollar store version with wholly unlikable characters. I LOVED Ronan and he was a violent mafia boss too, so I know it’s possible to make likable characters who happen to be violent. This man literally fucks women and then kills them and he’s proud of it 🥴🥴🥴 just absolutely vile. Also, from what others have said, the ending sounds disturbing so imma pass on that.

PS: what the FUCK is up with his smelling?! That creeped me the fuck out. Lucas gave me the ick in like 20 different ways

We have to start by saying this story drew you right from the beginning and kept you glued to the pages the entire time. I have read a lot of dark romances over time as well and mafia romances but, this story was darker than most as Lucas was one dark and deadly sick individual. The story kept you on edge the entire time, and at times I was actually shaking.

Chanel was a character we loved, one that was feisty had a backbone, great sense of humor, loved how protective she was of her brother. We loved that she fought Lucas, even knowing what was going to happen and what would be a forgone conclusion. Chanel was my favorite character, hoping that in some small way that she would be good for Lucas in the long run, maybe even heal him in some way, boy I couldn't be more wrong.

Lucas downright scared the crap out of us right from the very beginning, I think we are more afraid of him than we were of Keir. This man was downright sinister. Lucas took dark to a whole new level of dark.

We loved seeing Sailor and Keir grace the pages, as well as Wren once again. Sailor is still a character, that still makes us laugh.

Overall, non-stop suspense cover to cover, and the story had his trying to figure out what Lucas's obsession/angel was with Chanel as we started thinking the man had a split personality but, we couldn't have been more wrong his motives were way more sinister, and we hope he pays for his sins. Chanel could have been that man's saving grace but, one thing he has forgotten is that Chanel is a survivor, and she is strong beautiful and will do what it takes and make them all pay for what they have done to her and her family. Revenge will be beautiful and well as sweet.

Lucas, you were such a disappointment we were looking for some redeeming quality about you, hoping you would make the right decision in the end now we hope you reap what you sow...

What a cliffhanger...
January 23, 2022
Oh this woman and her cliffhangers!! I mean seriously…..the ending is just so deliciously ‘effed up and perfectly placed that I need the next book now!!

I loved everything about Chanel. She is all hard edges with a guarded heart…a complete warrior. Fiercely loyal, spirited and strong. I am so looking forward to more from her in book two…please let her keep herself.
Lucas, oh my! What an enigma this guy is….he is so lost even he doesn’t know who he truly is….he thinks he is in control, thinks he’s the big shot but is he really? Is he the puppet master or just the strings?
you must meet him and decide for yourself….I couldn’t help but fall for him….in all his twisted, beautiful glory!

The banter between these two had me chuckling, but there was also a real connection between them. We started to see this develop as they both slowly let their guards down and their true personalities and insecurities were beginning to show. The more you get glimpses of, the more you start to understand how complex both of them really are and how much damage and hurt lays beneath the surface.

This is a world I am enjoying immensely and can’t wait to go back for the next instalment and maybe Joey?

Lucas’ Book Is Here! Get Ready for a bumpy ride!! We first met this deliciously dark character in the chained hearts duet. Lucas Rossi is Keir’s cousin and no less of an villain. This is his story. When Chanel goes to find her brother she ends up in the path of Lucas. This might be a very bad move or the most exhilarating…depending on your view. What a thrilling dark and dirty romance. Chanel is so feisty and I’m here for everything she throws back at Lucas. I laughed so many times with Lucas and his antics! They truly are the perfect match. Welcome to this mafia world where these bad men will ravage your heart and soul! Told in dual POV and does end in a jaw dropping cliffhanger.

Wow! Dark and twisted until the very last page…I WANT MORE! The author left me stunned!!!

Lucas is a sexy psycho. The man knows what he wants and takes it. If you’re lucky he’ll let you walk away. However, he prefers to watch the life drain from their eyes when he’s done. A mafia man to his core but he is more unhinged than most.

Chanel is tough and resilient. She has done what was necessary to provide for her brother. Losing her parents right before she turned eighteen left her with few options, but she did what she needed to. She wants out of that life but never expected the twisted mafia man to give her the opportunity.

Once she caught his eye there was no escape. Her sass and fight only draws him in. It’s a game she can’t win but she is a fighter and won’t give up. Lucas will try and break her down. Even when a depraved surprise comes her way, she comes out swinging. Chanel is fierce.

I was captivated by Lucas’ darkness. His thirst for death and control draws her in. Their desire is toxic yet irresistible. They are both addicted to the poison they created. It’s dark romance and it will suck you in. I cannot wait for the conclusion because the author definitely left me shocked and ready for more.

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Note 2: This is a duet. Sinful Hands is the first book. Shackled Hearts is the next, coming February 22, 2022. Please read in order.

Trigger warnings: Murder, underaged sex, negative language for sex workers, drug abuse, child neglect, infidelity, sociopathic tendencies (the hero has em), knife play, choking/strangulation.

Honestly this book should come with so many warnings. I mean if you read it like me, you would know.

Plus it reads like a cross between the godfather and dexter (although dexter probably had more of a moral compass than Lucas could ever).

Regardless, this novel was something of an anomaly. I mean the bizarre and ultra-whacked out behaviour Lucas carries and how Chanel deals and handles it well - I mean truly the author should be given a prize for writing this very bizarre and dark crossing limits novel.

I appreciated the background story to Lucas as well and how it shaped him up and you know what they say - sometimes kids take it even one step further when they slowly turn it into their parents - especially dads who have tendencies of serial killers. And Chanel didn't shy away from it either, opting to choose to accept him, even tolerate how he is and who he is.

Yes both characters are reckless, whacked out, and make downright questionable choices. And I thoroughly enjoyed all that about - although I know others might find great difficulty with them.
And last time I enjoyed myself like this was with Deviant Vows, Pam Godwin novels, and Mallory Fox's wicked hearts at war collection. Intriguing, no?

Plus the other characters from various chained hearts world show up as well -which also keeps it entertaining all around - makes me eager to read them too.

I felt for them emotionally as how f-ed up their pasts were, and how it turned them into their present selves, and wish I could've been there for them - me and my mary poppins heart honestly. But I also enjoyed the physical chemistry they shared, the fascination they had with each other - always made me so giddy about it all - do people even use the word giddy anymore?

Plus that plot twist at the end...kinda gave me credence by penelope douglas vibes...so there's that.

I'm eager to find out what happens next because I just can't keep sitting here while the next novel churns out...oh the wait.

But I will be patient, promise. *winks*

Until the next read,

5 stars!!

This is book three in the “Chained Hearts Duet Series” and book one of “Lucas & Chanel’s duet”.

I think I have said this a few times but DAMN, this author creates the exact book boyfriend I am OBSESSED with. Lucas was definitely off the chain in Sailor and Keir’s duet. Like I was a little nervous about his character but I have been nothing but his number one fan!!! He is the entire package. Yummy!!

Chanel and Lucas give off a Harley Quinn and joker vibe. Lucas is totally a sexy joker in my head. He is a charming son of a bitch too. Chanel pretty witty herself. There was a few parts in the book I laughed my ass off at. And some super sexy parts too. But the tension that led up to those parts was palpable.

I read this book in one sitting and was pissed when it was done. I love this series and I love this book. I need more Lucas and Chanel ASAP!!

Sinful Hands is a dark story… well that’s a given but what’s so fantastic is the witty repartee between the characters, especially the two lead characters, Lucas and Chanel. Holy moly, the chemistry literally zings off each other but their word play makes it that much more interesting and fun. I applaud Ms Smith on her clever style of building up the character profiles in such an exciting manner.

Is Lucas a villain? Definitely and some would say even more so than his cousin, Keir, from the first Chained Hearts duet. Lucas is the boss of the streets and what he wants, he gets… until he meets Chanel. Being a prostitute, Chanel didn’t have high expectations of herself or her life but when she comes face to face with Lucas she finds out that her life might not be quite like she’d thought.

This story takes such a sharp turn at the end, it completely took me by surprise and yet it didn’t. I’ll let you decide when you read it, and honestly, it’s a story that needs to be read. Now I am eager for the second book in the duet after devouring this one. I started late at night and found it hard to put down, it’s that absorbing!

Sinful Hands by T.L Smith is a masterpiece with a brutal, brutal cliffhanger so be prepared! It is about a sociopaths and his obsession with working woman but nothing is what it seems. The book has everything from murder to intense carnal chemistry to past traumas to daddy kink to mafia games. T.L Smith is so talented that I actually fell for the homicidal psycho Lucas and found his antics endearing. There was a scene where he was explaining how NOT that bad he is with women by reminiscing a memory of him slitting the throat of an ex and, in a total clueless manner, expects Chanel to get on board with his idea of a relationship. I know it sounds creepy but I just fell for him.

Of course, the lies, secrets and betrayals come out at the end and they froze my blood. It was a gut wrenching moment. I am still reeling from it. I hope for my sake that the second book comes out as soon as possible because the cliffhanger has just turned my world upside down.

4.25 stars! LUCAS LUCAS LUCAS....

My goodness, I'm not even sure where to begin. Lucas is a sociopath, there is no way around it. He feels zero remorse/guilt/empathy what so ever and finds joy in killing women after he's done with them. However, he takes a strong liking to Chanel, a sex worker, whose brother starts working for Lucas.

Chanel is a strong, fierce woman. She chooses to work in sex work to survive, to help her brother, for a better life. That all ends when Lucas decides no one can touch her but him. And I mean it takes it literally - like unalives anyone he finds out had paid her for her services in the past.

There is a lot of push and pull in this book. Chanel doesn't want him, but then she does... then she doesn't. Lucas keeps telling her cryptic things and she's always nervous that when he's done with her, she'll be like all the other women that came before her - dead.

This book ends on a MAJOR cliffhanger that sent my head spinning! Can't wait to see how it ends.

TW: mention of sex work as prostitution/wh*res etc. violence, dubcon, murders

Well, I about threw my Kindle at the wall with that ending! Have I actually said I kind of like cliffhangers. I must be crazy! I was not ready for this book to end! But end it did and now I am anxiously awaiting Shackled Hearts, Book 2 in this duet series.

Sinful Hands is the first book in the Lucas and Chanel Duet, which is a spinoff it was good to be able to catch up and read more about Keir (Lucas’ cousin) Sailor who had their story told in both Chained Hands and Locked Hearts, the Chained Hearts Duet.

Lucas is a bad man. He is the antihero in this story! People don’t cross him or look at him funny because he is likely to kill you. Chanel comes into his club to get her brother and take him home. She knows that it might be a problem. Chanel has been working as a prostitute just to make ends meet. She has her own secrets. Lucas has eyes for her and won’t let her go. Of course their chemistry together is off the charts.

I really enjoyed reading Sinful Hands. TL Smith does a dark book right! She knows just what draws a reader in! When an author makes me want to throw my Kindle that means I was emotionally invested in the story! Another 5 STAR read according to me!!! Now will you please hurry up with Shackled Hearts! Maybe release it early. PLEASE!

My first read by TL smith and what an introduction! what a ride !

Sinful Hands is exactly that , sinful! the story is intense, dark and dangerous, but so captivating, so thrilling, so addictive!

In all honesty, i had such a mixture of opinions throughout. I felt a state of confusion at times of how i felt, did i loathe him or love him? 😉
Lucas is very different! Dark brutal and has a need for death and obsession …
Chanel - a strong witty woman full of fire and wit and won’t even let Lucas intimidate her! Her
These two have a chemistry that’s ready to blow up, Lucas’ dark desires brings out Chanel’s unknown need. The darkness they play with is dangerously exhilarating!
Lucas’ dark un-nerving, psycho ways makes the pleasure forbidden.

A plot within a mafia world so expect danger, fear and twists! And that ending ?
It will make you stop breathing, your stomach drops. A feeling on dread, of panic but excitement and your left with instant anticipation… the countdown for the never book is on!

First off let me start by saying...HOT Damn! I thought the prior books in the Chained Hearts world was spicy but Lucas and Chanel give Keir and Sailor a run for their money. I can't wait to read the second book in this duet. After reading this book, I felt like I needed a cigarette, a drink and a cold shower.

Instantly, I was a fan of Chanel. I loved that while she might have been a little afraid of Lucas (and rightfully so), she still stood up to him. She is a spitfire. Lucas is the ultimate bad boy. Just one look from him will have any woman begging. The sexual chemistry between Lucas and Chanel is off the charts. I can't wait to see how things end with these two in the second book.

Ok it’s no lie I’m live on the sick & twisted words of T.L. Smith. Or should I say her male leads because I am insanely addicted to them.

And from Chained Hands & Locked Hearts I needed to know more about Lucas and man did I get it & them some. He’s Dark but I was captivated cover to cover. What I loved most was that despite his dominant ways TL wrote an equally fierce female lead that challenged him in so many ways. The game these two weave is just perfect and I probably my most favourite element of this book.

I’m hanging out for book 2 - I need the detail after that ending and I need it stat.
Deliciously dark read that I’m highly recommending.

I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. I knew Lucas was going to crazy, twisted, physco. He's worse than Keir I thought he was bad but no Lucas takes first place in that. I also wasn't sure how I would feel about Chanel I mean considering what she does for a living but I actually really like. Now I'm so disappointed in Lucas for that ending but I still love him.

I’m a sucker for toxic dark relationships in books but if I ever seen this in real life you best believe I’m running.
