There's an easy way to get bigger companies to promote you as a byproduct of promoting themselves. Reach their audiences by documenting the wins you've had using their product and giving it to them on a silver platter.
The "Poster Boy Formula" single-handedly moved Bryan Harris of Growth Tools from zero to 10,000 subscribers in four months. The idea is to essentially become a success story for companies and influencers so that they'll post about it, put it on their websites, and so forth. This can bring you more credibility, leads, and traffic. To try it yourself, make a list of products, services, and content creators that you love. Choose a few likely candidates with big audiences that match your target market (but they should be small enough that they'll see value in your story). Then document every benefit you've received from their work. And while you're at it, warm them up by replying to their welcome emails, leaving high-quality comments on social media/blogs, sharing their content, etc. Once they're familiar with you, reach out to thank them and share a detailed breakdown of how they've helped you. Don't ask for anything. Then stay on their radar by following up every 90 days with a brief update on the latest wins you've had thanks to them. Not every company will promote your story, but some will, and as we saw with Bryan, it can have a big impact.
