Harshul Sanghi’s Post

After ten amazing years at Amex Ventures, I have decided it’s time to step down and welcome new leadership. I am so proud of our growth over the past decade, and more importantly, what our portfolio companies have accomplished– it has indeed been an honor to invest in and partner with so many innovative companies and founders and help drive their success. When I founded Amex Ventures in 2011, I did not anticipate the extent to which Fintech would emerge as the leading category for technology innovation and disruption over the last decade.  We were able to take advantage of this explosion by investing in and partnering with the category defining companies to position Amex Ventures as the leading strategic investor in the space.  To my Amex colleagues across the enterprise: thank you for your sponsorship, curiosity, and support. And to the Amex Ventures team: thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and perseverance. It wasn’t always easy, but I’d say the hard work paid off in spades. With this change, Matthew Sueoka is taking the helm of Amex Ventures as SVP and Global Head. I know his track record of driving innovation at Amex will benefit our portfolio companies, as well as their many partnerships with our business units. Simply put, I can’t wait to see what he and the team accomplish together, and I wish them the best of luck. https://lnkd.in/dFN34HM8

It was the most rewarding, educational, fun and amazing run to be your right hand aka "Office Ninja." God bless you as always and enjoy your retirement to the fullest.

Sometimes the good guys do finish first. Any founder lucky enough to have worked with Harshul will know first hand the magic that happens when he gets involved. Congrats on building hands down the best corporate venture program out there, and doing so with integrity, grit and always class. Excited to see what comes next my friend!
