Better World Club is on a mission. Over 20 Years ago, Better World Club began as a leader in the socially and environmentally responsible business movement. From the beginning, we believed that we could provide better quality services that protect you, your family, and the planet. Today, we continue on our legacy of leading with impact and we incorporate this philosophy in everything we do.

• BWC is a Certified B Corporation, meeting rigorous social, environmental, and transparency standards in our commitment to using business as a force for good.
   

• BWC is 100% carbon-neutral: We practice what we preach by operating a completely carbon-neutral company. We offset our office and service vehicles and source the most environmentally friendly materials we can find.
   

• BWC received an A rating from the Better Business Bureau and has included Better World Club in their new BBB4Good Initiative.
   

• BWC donates to environmental causes: We choose carefully selected non-profit organizations to achieve the highest possible impact. 
   

• BWC provides lifetime discounts on hybrid and electric vehicles. We will invest in you if you decide to invest in a green vehicle.
   

• BWC Advocates: We belong to associations like the American Sustainable Business Network and Business For America in order to push companies to follow our lead in turning business into a force for good.

Our Donations

Our donations largely contribute to the Environmental Partners of 1% for the Planet. These partners are vetted environmental organizations working toward various environmental solutions.

 

Previous contributions have supported:

• Replacing out-of-date oil-burning boilers for Portland (OR) Public Schools.

• Maintaining and enlarging the Greater New Bedford LFG Utilization Project.

• Maintaining the Sexton Energy Des Plaines landfill methane recovery and destruction project.

• An electrically-charged plasma torch that destroys HFCs in Monterrey, Mexico.

• A steam generator that runs on the waste heat from petroleum processing in Visakhapatnam, India.

• A separator that turns nitrous oxide into oxygen and nitrogen in Lu Cheng City, China.

• Steel recycling facilities in Bakersfield, California, where new metal shredders can tackle buses and airplanes.

Green Operations

Being green isn’t just about spending money on environmental projects.  We do many small things, but they keep us accountable for doing our part.

• Our offices and technology are 100% carbon-neutral

• Our paper membership materials are recycled from 100% post-consumer waste.

• We use eco-friendly ink in all of our office printers.

• Our plastic membership cards are 100% recycled and recyclable.

• And, of course, we recycle office materials and equipment.

Driving Change
