Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra

The staff are extremely friendly and so helpful. The room was always clean and beddings changed. Jessica and Mary at the main restaurant are brilliant at keeping the place warm and always serve with a smile. I do recommend this hotel to everyone while in Ghana.

A terrible experience which will take years for my family to recover from.Let your death not meet you in this hotel.My husband lodged in Movenpick Ambassador from March 2021 to July 2021.He actually passed away during his stay in this hotel . That was the beginning of our nightmare .Not only the management never took the step to contact us or even to contact the British Embassy as my late husband was a british national.Instead we were left in the care of a certain Michael Wilson who is just a well known customer who visit the bars and restaurants of this hotel on a daily basis.This individual has been allowed to conduct inventories in my late husband room 106 and access personal and confidential documents including a private letter my late husband wrote to me and our children before the hotel called that same Michael Wilson to take him to hospital.He will die few days later and this individual was given access to his room .to the safe and entrusted by the hotel to get his passport and inform the British Embassy. I have been in contact for the past 3 days with Mr Adjei ,who was then customer relation manager and the new head of security regarding the private letter which is still missing in order to recover that.I have been yelled at over the phone that Mr Adjei do not know my husband and moreover he never met Michael Wilson in his entire life.I have emailed the hotel to request that Debra Sivertsen take this matter in hand and return the letter to me.No answer. A five stars hotel without protocol on personal belonging safeguading and no guideline on how to help international guests should you get sick or meet your death during your stay. Debra Sivertsen ,a heartless and with no empathy.

Very nice and professional staff, all employees (the security guards, the girls at reception, the waiters, housekeepers) are very nice and professional. Hotel well maintained, the pool is large and beautiful I had an ssue to log in on internet and everybody was very helpful and resolved my issue perfectly; the IT specialist was very responsive and proactive Breakfast is wonderful and the kindness and professionalism of the waiter Issac (the slim one) makes this experience even more pleasant

Great service the entire stay. Samuel and George provided excellent care. Entire staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Carpet on the Executive 6th. level floor needs replaced. The spa was a wonderful experience. 2 hour massage was amazing!

Excellent service and guest experience during my stay at the Movenpick. Thank you to Mary in the main restaurant, George in the Executive lounge, (outstanding service and excellent food) Levis, Juliet, Patricia,Samuel, Abigail and Yaa, for their Individual attention to detail services provided. The team at front and back office, housekeeping were fantastic and dedicated to ensure my stay was as comfortable as my own home with a personal touch. My appreciation to Eric (housekeeping), Yaa (BO) and Daniel (DM) , who went the extra mile to offer their support during my stay. The refurbishment in the lobby and common areas, is evidence , comfortable, with a welcome feel.
