    Reckless Hands is book 5 & duet 3 in the Chained Hearts Duet Series. I was really looking forward to reading Joey's story and this didn't disappoint.
    Adora is a feisty FMC challenges Joey at every turn. You definitely feel for her in the beginning with the arranged marriage, but it was great to see her embrace it at times.
    The back and forth with Joey & Adora sets the story up really well for their relationship to develop.
    The eventual coming together was hot. So good!
    As always with T.L Smith, the ending of this book leaves you hanging, trying to figure it all out and wanting more.
    Looking forward to reading book 2 in this duology and seeing where Joey & Adora's story goes.

    For me, this book packed quite the punch. The action began immediately and never waned. The intensity was kept at an even off the charts level!!! Consistency is this authors jam. Consistently bringing energetic, dramatic, dangerous, hold nothing back stories to totally tantalise a readers mind, body and soul. This is stuff I crave. I wake up thinking about these characters and I go to bed with them as my last thought. Imaginative, creative and original are these stories. Unforgettable bliss. 5 stars.

    I was so enjoying the chemistry between Joey and Adora but then the author had to spoil it by leaving me on a cliffhanger!!!

    My score reflects my disappointment. such a shame as I was willing to give 5 stars if the HEA had been concluded.

    I wish authors would treat their readers with the respect they deserve... by this I mean give us the choice to decide to read your stories when we can get our hands on ALL the books that tell the story, rather than give us a cliffhanger. If a reader is enjoying your story they will read both, either back to back or as a cliffhanger. But take the choice away from them and they may just turn away from you!

    This is an honest and true review.

    This book was such an enjoyable read. I devoured it and didn't want to put it down, and then the end just made my jaw drop. I didn't see that coming at all. Joey is sweet at times and I just absolutely love his character. This book is intriguing, exciting and a really great read. I can't wait for book 2 to find out what happens next! I just know it's going to be good.

    From page one tl had me glued to the seat. The way they met had me giggling. I have read every book in this series and it keeps getting better. What to expect in this book adora owns the book shop when Joey visits with his brother and is told that this is wife to be. It is an arranged marriage, mafia, close proximity, push and push and heartbreakingly beautiful read.

    The connection between them was everything and it kept me wanting more. I loved having having the other characters appear because it just made me remember how much I loved tl smiths writing more. You can read them as duets/ standalone but why would you as each follow on from each other and adora appears in Chanel and Lucas’ duet. Again this book is a duet so expect unexplained answers to questions you’ll have like me.

    I was screaming so loud no no no. I cannot wait to read book two and get emotionally entangled with them again. I highly recommend this read.

    Arranged marriage has got to be one of my favorite genre. I love how they finally find common grounds. Now this also had different tropes if you want to know what then please get this book. At first I was so excited to hear my favorite little brother was getting a book. I know he gets the crappy end of the stick due to his brother being the big boss and a cousin who is soo crazy ( I so loved Lucas) but Joey was just the most open hearted out of the 3. I love that he wants a marriage out of love and not because he has no choice in his bride. Now bring in his bride Adora. Not sure if I’m a fan yet or not. Making Easy going Joey deal with so many no’s but secret yes’.
    Of course this book ends on a cliffy like the rest of this service and I can not wait to see how it all turns out.
    If you haven’t started this whole series you need to. If you have and are waiting to read Joey story don’t book 2 will be out sooner then you know.
    I normally give 5 starts but the other trope I’m not sure I’m a fan of and just my feelings for Adora I give this book a 4.5.

    As always I can’t wait to see what Tl has in store for book 2.

    I thought I was ready, boy was I wrong!!! This book was just WOW and I was NOT expecting that cliff hanger ending!!

    Joey is nothing short of AMAZING, dare I even say he’s my favorite brother😳 . The things he would do and grace he has for Adora is top notch.

    Their banter towards one another was comical for me. Adora tried so hard to fight her affection towards Joey but in the end, it just did not work.

    I loved this book, I loved the things that took place and brought them together, Joeys character, the presence of Keir & Sailor, Lucas & Chanel & Piper.

    Being a new book, I don’t want to say much and spoil for others, just read, you will not be disappointed!!

    Can’t wait for part 2!!
