Sweden and UK sign mutual aid agreement that promises military support
Britain and Sweden signed an agreement on Wednesday that pledges to defend each other should one of them come under attack and asked for help.
The two countries' premiers said the declaration of solidarity will stand regardless of if Sweden decides to join NATO or not.
"If either country should suffer a disaster or an attack, the UK and Sweden will assist each other in a variety of ways," said Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson.
