About the Author:
Gordon Wiltsie, an award-winning National Geographic photographer whose career spans thirty years, has circled the globe to find the last, greatest unexplored places. He lives in Bozeman, Montana.

Wiltsie has photographed more than 100 expeditions to some of the wildest places on Earth, and his prints have been exhibited in shows in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Here he chronicles his travels to Nepal, Antarctica, Patagonia, Chile, Canada, Peru, Mongolia, and across the Arctic Ocean via the North Pole.
