CTRL Camp

WHAT IS CTRL Camp? CTRL Camp (pronounced &quot;Control Camp&quot;) is a FREE Sync Education Community.  By sync, I refer to Sync Licensing which involves placing music in TV, Ads, Games, etc. And by FREE, I mean FREE.  We provide a ton of education to help ANYONE learn about writing music for TV &amp; Film.  We do this by creating video and text resources on our website (ctrlcamp.com) and giving aspiring sync creators access to our free membership site.  On the membership site, users can meet the composers, songwriters, supervisors and executives who operate in this space. Plus they can their questions answered and music heard. We also provide opportunities to submit music for placement opportunities on TV, Film, Ads and Video Games. And, as I said, these opportunities are all free. Yes there will be some premium offering on the site that will come with a cost.  This might include merch or premium educational courses.   However, I strongly believe that cost should not be a barrier that prevents someone from the opportunity to license their music for TV &amp; Film.  Anyone, who wants to learn about this space can come to CTRL Camp and receive education and pitch opportunities for free. In fact, the site is designed so that a person with zero knowledge can learn everything they need to know about sync licensing without paying a cent.  No bait and switch here.   CTRL Camp is run by me, Eric Campbell.  I’ve been writing music for sync for over a decade. I have music in lots of shows like Shameless, Chicago Fire, Real Housewives of Potomac and lots more. I’ve worked on set for major TV productions including Greenleaf and Step Up Highwater.   I’ve written songs for actors and celebrities and I’ve placed music for others on TV. I've been blessed in this career but it's taken a lot of time and money to figure out the sync licensing field works.  I've paid a lot for master courses and organization membership fees.  This has helped me amass a great deal of knowledge.  But I don't believe the knowledge should be as expensive as it is.  So, through CTRL Camp, we are making it freely available. Maybe you've seen my videos on TikTok or Instagram or heard me speaking on Clubhouse.  But all roads lead to CTRL Camp .  This is where you become part of the community.  We learn together.  We collaborate.  We pitch.  We succeed together. WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP? We could definitely use financial support from those who can afford it. Our membership site is built independently.  It doesn't run on Facebook or any other network. And we intend to keep it free so that anyone who wants sync education can get it. So your financial support will help improve the technical architecture so that we will be able to provide adequate support with a growing audience.
