Insightful, thanks for putting this together 👍 Codemap.io Thought, I personally do not agree with the statement “no-code is for non technical people” - from my experience with more complex and enterprise use-cases, you can use no-code but you need more technical mindset. I would like to see in the next versions of this report, also an improoved representation of no-code & low-code for enterprise use-cases and how development teams are using this technologies.
Thanks for this. The semantics around this are pretty interesting. Major no-code's been around for a long time, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix etc...and, what about Canva? (and Citia) Maybe these don't factor because they seem to only replace front end developers? To me it looks more like a continuum where more and more varied "technology" is produced by "citizens." And-the endpoint for much of this space will be "ready-mades." You can just pack so much power into a platform. "One offs" will be trade offs. I don't know what percentage of technology would be classified as some kind of communication technology. A third?? half? For starters all of media. Media doesn't need a lot of container customization. The real differentiation is the media. CX will even out and mostly disappear in standards like feeds and cards. Who really benefits from the variations between the JetBlue app and the United app? Maybe helpful to think about the ratio of custom IT hours per project? (plz don't include procurement hours!) Because of all of this technology is basically bottling engineering. It takes less than 40 hours to produce a car now because it's built from composables. #nocode #digitaltransfomation
