Jyoti Mistry is Professor in film at University of Gothenburg in Sweden. She works with film as a research form and mode of artistic practice. She has made critically acclaimed films and installation work. Most recently, Cause of Death (2020) premiered atBerlinale International Film Festival. Her recent publications include ‘Mapping Artistic Research in Film’, International Journal of Film and Media Arts: (2020). She is recipient of the Cilect (Association of International Film Schools) 2016 Teaching Award in recognition for innovation in film research and pedagogy. Currently, she is editor in chief of PARSE (Platform of Artistic Research in Sweden).
