PROMOTING THE DISCOVERABILITY OF BLACK MUSICIANS
Zoom (digital only event)
4:00pm start
Free

A healthy music scene needs diverse artists and arts workers. In recent years, it's been amazing to hear from more and more underrepresented voices in the Canadian music scene - but, we can still do better! In this session, we examine how community radio stations and programmers can improve the discoverability of Black musicians. The session will be led by the industry heavy-weight Tim Fray (Collective Music Nation) and Dwayne Marcial (Musikizthemotive). This panel will be virtual only.

Presented in partnership with our friends at CFRC 101.9 and the National Campus Radio Association (NCRA)
