Vita Mojo Raises US$30M in Funding

Vita Mojo

Vita Mojo, a London, UK-based provider of “front-of-house” restaurant software powering digital ordering and the management of kitchen and delivery operations, raised US$30 million in new financing.

The round was led by Battery Ventures, with Battery General Partner Morad Elhafed and Principal Zak Ewen joining Vita Mojo’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to refine its product and expand into new markets.

Founded in 2016 by Nick Popovici and Stefan Catoiu, Vita Mojo provides a full-suite technology platform which combines everything a restaurant operator needs: digital ordering, Point of Sale, delivery and order management, kitchen operations and marketing & growth tools. Today, more than 130 operators across 5 countries (including LEON, Nando’s, Le Pain Quotidien and GAIL’s Bakery) use it to grow sales, streamline their operations and create remarkable customer experiences.

Vita Mojo – which sells to restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, bakeries and fast-casual eateries – counts large chains among its customer base including Nando’s, GAIL’s Bakery, Le Pain Quotidien, LEON, JKS Group and Neat Burger.

The company also launched new technology that empowers restaurant customers to make better food choices when dining out. A new, integrated feature in the technology lets restaurants accurately and seamlessly display nutrition and allergen information across their menus by pulling the data directly from recipe-management software.
