The AMPLIFY Fund was created in November, 2020 in conjunction with the AMPLIFY: Expanding Black Influence panel discussion. The event’s aim was to help participants gain understanding of access barriers encountered by Black leaders and discover actions for greater racial equity in our community. Donors, many who gave as an act of personal reparations, funded the first grant cycle. In June, 2021 four awardees were named. We are excited to expand our funding capacity as well as professional services available, funding eight awardees this cycle through a partnership with the Colorado Enterprise Fund. Amplify fund grant

June 9, 2021

The Trinity Denver AMPLIFY Fund Grant Awards Committee is pleased to congratulate the following businesses receiving inaugural grants of the AMPLIFY Fund:

We wish the recipients well as they continue in their vitality and commitment to growing their businesses and we encourage support of these businesses! Please click on the links above to explore them.

The AMPLIFY Fund is an initiative of Trinity United Methodist Church’s Anti-Racist Allyship. Our mission is to expand the influence of Black-owned businesses by helping to dismantle financial barriers through small-business support. This grant specifically funds the opportunity for Black entrepreneurs to employ an hourly Virtual Assistant for twelve weeks. Optional guidance by an expert in the field on how to structure work and manage the time of a Virtual Assistant for maximum effectiveness is available at no cost. While most business owners will be working to build earnings capacity for retaining administrative support some may have a specific short-term project that can be accomplished with grant funding.

Please check back for the announcement of future grant cycles.
