My review will be short because I don't want to give away any details that may end up coming off as spoilers. When it comes to trilogies like Mount and Savage, part of the appeal comes in the anticipation of the release of the book to follow the one you just finished because you desperately need answers. With the cliffhanger ending that Meghan March left readers with here, I'm already counting the days until she releases Iron Princess into all of our greedy hands (and I'm preeetty sure that'll end with a cliffy of its own). The main characters in this series starter have me more than intrigued as to what's going to happen next with them, especially with one particular "complication" that comes to light. And while Savage Prince is an absolute five-starred standalone, longtime March fans will be happy to know there are cameos from some notable characters in both the Beneath and Mount series. ♥

4.5 stars for - Savage Prince - book one in the Savage Trilogy by Meghan March. This book is a spin-off from the Mount trilogy though it can be read as a complete stand-alone but please prepare yourself for one heck of a cliff-hanger in the way Ms. March is making herself famous for! We are once again back in the bayou where sin, secrets and excess seem to be everyone's norm. Seven Sinners Whiskey COO Temperance Ransom is beautiful and fiercely loyal to her boss. She works to the point of exhaustion most days and has put any personal life on hold so her boss - Kiera Kilgore - can enjoy her hard fought for new life. Of course so now that Kiera is out of town it seems the perfect time for things to hit the fan. Temperance is keeping many secrets about the life she used to lead and never thought they were in danger of coming to light until now. The man that has ravaged her body and mind could be the key to her salvation or her absolute destruction. I have never felt like from the very first word in chapter one until the "to be continued" at the end of the book that I was literally seduced by the storyline but if ever an author could do it - Meghan March would be the one! Intense, mind blowing sexiness that leaves you on fire is only part of the appeal for this one as your attention is captured early on and I have a feeling it will never let go until the series is done. Now on to Iron Princess please!

I've just read and finished this book in one sitting, it's bloody brilliant! Meghan has created for us another hot, demanding alpha male. He's right up there with the Mounts of this world and he was super hot to read about. Mysterious, dark, demanding and s#x on a stick! Temperance was just as interesting as I thought she'd be from meeting her in the Mount Trilogy. She's smart and sassy, super strong in her professional life but lacking confidence in her private one. She's needs to let go and experience life and passion instead of letting her job eat up her entire time. These two cross paths at just the right moment for Temperance to take a leap of faith and start taking chances. The chemistry between these two was of the charts, enough heat to melt your kindle! This lady really knows how to write a sex scene! We've only just scrapped the surface of this story and the ending was just perfect. The stories been set up so well, with lots of mystery and intrigue, your be demanding the next book the moment you finish this one. We get to see quite of few of the characters from previous stories set in this world which I absolutely loved, it's definitely a treat. I'm desperate for the next book and will be counting down the days until it hits my kindle.
