Game Changer

I'm so excited that I have a new team to follow!! Friends to lovers and second chance are like my catnip and this one checks all the boxes. I am so in love with the start of this series!! I loved Garrett and Lizzie so much. There's so much history and connection and angst. Their relationship was such a rollercoaster but also just perfection. This book sucked me in and I had to finish in one sitting. I am here for whatever comes next for the Vipers!!

Game Changer is book one in a new hockey series. It’s a friends to lovers romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. Lizzie and Garrett are the best of friends with added “benefits” on occasion. When a night of benefits ends up in pregnancy their relationship changes. I really adored Garrett and the way he was with Lizzie. They both had deeper feelings for the other but both were concerned about admitting their feelings. I definitely recommend this story to everyone who enjoys a well written friends to lovers romance. And I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

4.5 Stars for Game Changer (Las Vegas Vipers #1) What a wonderful start to the new series from Stacey Lynn and if Lizzie and Garrett’s story is anything to go by this will certainly be another hit series for this very talented author. It’s bad enough to fall for your best friend but to accidentally get pregnant by him as well….. Garrett and Lizzie have been best friends since college, they have survived distance when he got traded, career changes and other relationships but one wild winter weekend has him confessing he wants more but she wants time. Problem is 12 weeks later Lizzie finds herself pregnant and alone so how does she tell her best friend he is going to be a father after walking away and asking for time. This book has it all, a swoon worthy hot hockey player, a adorable heroine, some fantastic secondary characters ( who I hope get their own books), it’s hot, it’s steamy, it’s witty but it was the friendships that took this book to another level. Looking forward to my next visit to Las Vegas and another story from the Vipers.
