Merry Smutmas 😈🎄

Shout out to my girl Cara for reading this filth with me lol.

My Thoughts: I can't decide if this is a 2.5 or 3 Stars. This book was so unserious. I was cackling the whole time. There were soooo many cheesy moments, I laughed so loud my dog was looking at me like 👀⁉️This book is wild, a super quick read. If you are looking for a book with absolutely the weakest plot, a book you dont have to do much thinking with. This book is for you. You'll be filled with holiday cheer just like our girl in this book.🎄🙃

“We're all here. Snowed in. With nothing to do but each other."

Plot- Four men looking to have a sex filled party with their chosen woman Samantha whilst snowed in over Christmas. 🌶️Orgy. Oral. Eiffel Tower. All the filth was in this book. The End🌶️

“Three glasses of wine, and I’m all for an orgy. I’m such a lightweight. A disgrace. I’m sorry”

The Characters-
Samantha- God she was so awkward. But what a champ.🥇Pleaseeee taking four men- she deserves the world. She deserves ice cream and diamonds. She deserves a house filled with golden retrievers ❣️she should be sponsored by Trojan Condoms. Get that money 💰
The men- Jace, Reed, Alec and Cole, there is one for each kink - Alpha, Voyeur, Praise & Degradation. Cole was my favorite lol. 🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️

"I don't know what I did to deserve this Christmas Miracle, but thank you, Santa Claus and your dirty little elves."

Writing & Pace This jumps right into the smut lol doesn’t waste any time. The writing is atrocious lol. BUT- I highlighted soooo many things, I’m disgusted with myself. 😅 The dialogue between all of them was so cringy lol but made it hilarious. Just a heads up - this is not a spicy read, it’s straight up smut smut smutty smut

Final Thoughts- This book was so ridiculous. If you read this book go into it with an open mind and have fun with this atrocity 😂 Dont expect a groundbreaking novella haha

“Next, he’ll tell me to drop to my knees because he wants to feed me his big ol’ candy cane.”

ho ho holes, meeeeeeerry christmas

this was a lot of fun and i did not want to put it down. i read another reverse harem romance recently by a popular author and it just… didn’t hit for me. so this was a pleasant surprise after all but swearing off RH.

i liked this because while it didn’t take itself too seriously it felt surprisingly realistic? the guys were experienced in group sex situations, not shocked that they were all into the same girl. samantha was incredulous for a good bit which feels normal. and they were snowed in which ya know what happens during snowmageddon stays in snowmageddon.

and the guys were hot and not irritating 🙌🏻

i need a cole and reed to fill my stocking this year hehe. anyway, super fun christmas smut definitely check it out.

*Hey Siri - Play Back Door Santa by Clarence Carter* 🎶

★ 3 stars for keeping me entertained

"I don't know what I did to deserve this Christmas miracle, but thank you, Santa Claus and your dirty little elves."

I'm going to preface this by saying this review is completely unserious because I don't have a single serious thing to say. This book is pure smut and minimal plot. I think this might be my first reverse harem? Let's just say it was an educational experience and I ate it up ✍️

Plot

Samantha is an interior designer and was decorating one of her client's cabin's for a Christmas party. They get snowed in and the party is cancelled. She's trapped with 4 hunks, Cole, Reed, Alec & Jace for an extended weekend. That's it - that's the plot 👀

╰⪼ Thoughts

I had SO much fun reading this despite my rating, it was such an easy read and exactly what I was wanting. Festive smut, what more could a girl want right?? 💅

I kept picturing Samantha from sex and the city, solely because of her name. She was awkward as hell but she did have a confidence streak with her man's (plural). I honestly don't know how this girl did it - she had 4 men obsessing over her 24/7. She was stuffed like a Christmas turkey and she deserves all the praise in the world for her determination.

Her inner monologue had me HOWLING. The quotes were so unhinged and chaotic I loved it -

"Did I just say girthy? Stop being such a wh*re. JUST STOP BEING A WH*RE."

“Three glasses of wine, and I’m all for an orgy. I’m such a lightweight. A disgrace. I’m sorry.”

"Am I about to get railed like some kind of dirty porn staring Mrs Claus and her elves? Maybe. definitely. Ho, ho, ho."

"I'll need an eye patch after this because I'm pretty sure I'll get pink eye from this shit."

“Next, he’ll tell me to drop to my knees because he wants to feed me his big ol’ candy cane.”

Ok now the juicy part -

Cole is your typical possessive alpha male - this man would have me CRAWLING and I'm claiming him (sorry Meagan and Sabrina). Reed (degradation), Alec (voyeurism -ngl was pretty 🔥) and Jace is your typical golden retriever energy (praise kink).

This book has it all, orgies, effiel towers, 🍑 play, 69 - really whatever you can think of, it was probably in this book.

What I didn't like: This book was soooo cheesy. The first 65% was super fun and then it got a little repetitive because there was nothing else going on in the story. The writing wasn't that great and had me cringing at points (coupled with Samantha's awkwardness and word vomit) but tbh I don't know that I would be that much different if someone said the things to me these men said 🥵. The words "big d*ck energy" and "murder your p*ssy" should just never be uttered in a book I'm sorry 😬

I made a ridiculous amount of highlights and I don't know if I should make them public because it will hurt your eyes 👀 read at your own risk. If you're after fun festive vibes with lots of smut this is perfect (it's only 280 pages and quick paced - it dives right into the spice there's no mucking around).

Ho Ho Ho girls 😮‍💨

Update: 11/12/2023: RTC bc I don't know how to form a sentence after that 😮‍💨

Holy Moly!!! What the heck did I just read!?! This is a quick, fun and super spicy holiday novella that will keep you warm on a cold night!! Tangled in Tinsel is a reverse harem/why choose about Samantha who gets snowed in with four successful hot men. Honestly, I was either cackling or swooning the entire time🥵🔥🫠😂🤣!!! If you are looking for a light, fun and steamy read with a tiny bit of plot then I do recommend this book to you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was all play and almost zero plot and I had fun with it lol

It felt like porn without the visuals and monotone aspect and was my first RH book so you can imagine this was a whole new experience for me. I can now say bring on more why choose books 🤭

Onto the characters: it was hard to choose but then my mind was made up with Reed and Cole being my favs 🥵 even though they didn’t give my girl Sam a break.. I mean I felt like I needed a break after each scene because they were wild lmao

Was for sure cringey at times but I can’t deny that I laughed alot

The conversations she had with her sister over it all was pure entertainment 🤣 i cannot wait for her book next

read this is you want a vibes only book to have a fun time with

Also, i should mention my rating would’ve been 1 due to the a*thors actions towards another author that weren’t proven but i left it at 3 bc reviews were being reported.

“𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚’𝙨 𝙖 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙙, 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙧’𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮.”

⤷ 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲🫣!! before I get into this review I just want to clarify that 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝟴𝟬% 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝟭𝟱% 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟱% 𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘁. this is not a serious book imo so 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗶𝘁.

⤷ now, did I still eat this up and mess up my sleep schedule because I was glued to this book? yes. yes, I did. this was my first rh book and I had no idea what to expect but I can now confidently say I’m equally intrigued and ready for more.

𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘁- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

⤷ plot? what is that? must have been buried under the snowstorm cause it wasn’t here. would a plot line have elevated the story even more? most definitely! did I still enjoy this despite it being completely plotless? surprisingly, yes.

⤷ frankly, I think this was just intended to be the spicy, lighthearted, holiday novella that it is. this would probably be 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸, 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀!

𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

⤷ imagine my shock at the realization that a holiday novella would be the spiciest book I’ve ever read in my life. it’s not my favorite out of the bunch but I cannot deny 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿. my mouth was hung open 70% of this book and so was the fmc’s😅 they were stuffing her up like a turkey and I love that for my girl sammy. honestly, these five should be in a birth control ad cause good lord!

𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱:

🎄holiday/winter romance
🎄forced proximity
🎄age gap(s)
🎄workplace romance
🎄reverse harem/ why choose
🎄sworn-off relationship
🎄multi-pov
🎄funny side characters
🎄loads of kinks (degradation, bdsm etc.)

𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸:

⤷ it’s extremely fast-paced like it gets right into it. that made it binge-worthy and easy for me to get through!

⤷ the comedic aspect! some people might find the jokes cheesy or cringe but that’s my sense of humor and I loved it! it made reading the fmc pov more digestible because she was genuinely so funny and corny.

⤷ the men, the men, THE MEN! they’re all so delicious. this is the definition of why choose, cause why? gimme all of them! though, I do have favorites because 𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 #𝟭 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿. it could’ve just been the two of them and it’d still hit the same for me.

⤷ honorable mention for the playlist because it was so fire. I giggled when wap came on because that was so real.

⤷ writing was also great. funny and playful but still easy to follow. lots of innuendos which were corny sometimes but idc that’s what holiday romances are made for!

⤷ love that this was lighthearted, with barely any tension until the end and that was short-lived. we all love angst but sometimes I just wanna read a book about a woman being happy and in love without the heartbroken stuff.

⤷ loved samantha’s sister! one of the funniest side characters and she really made the whole thing more entertaining. heard she has her own book, excited to see what that’s about.

𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸:

⤷ wish we got more background info on the characters. I genuinely cannot tell you any of their last names which always pisses me off in books.

⤷ the epilogue! idk it was just boring and underwhelming for me. I wished we saw something more exciting but what she wrote felt like it could’ve been put in the middle of the book.

𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:

⤷ overall this book was what I needed in the moment hence why my rating is that high. it genuinely made me feel good and I’m a mood reader so if the vibes are right I automatically consider that a good read!

Eva's book was better. The characters in this book were flat and I couldn't tell the guys apart. They were far too similar. Not to mention the storyline, like come on, this has been done so many times it's not even funny.

Three’s a crowd, four’s a party.”

If you're looking for a smutty holiday romance that will make you laugh till you pee and squirm at the same time, look no further.
You forgot to say please, Samantha.” The deep gravel in his voice makes me shiver. “‘Tell me I’m a good girl’…Please. Now, use your words, baby, and ask me nicely.”

One thing I can say after finishing this book, is that Trilina needs to write more romcoms. The woman is hilarious and how you can pull off something that's this hot and filthy and instill this much easy humor into it is pure talent. It's fine line between funny and cheesy and this was laugh till you cry hilarious.

If you're expecting a well rounded novel with lots of plot and character development, you probably didn't read the book blurb. But if you're looking for something super spicy, hilarious, fast paced, with not one, not two, not three, but four super hot leading men and the sassy woman that gets to have all of them...welp. This has it. This has all of it.

See what I did there?

But I digress. This is forced proximity dirty hotness. Samantha is an interior designer who gets snowed in on her current project, along with her four super hot bosses. Good times follow, obviously.

This book had me giggling incessantly. Between the hilarious banter between Samantha and her sister, along with her men. Then it had me squirming uncomfortably because hot damn.

Sometimes a girl needs a find and fluffy read that delivers on the steam and the laughs, and this one sure did.

*Fans face* This was one 🔥🔥 little number, What's a girl to do when there's four HOT MEN at her disposal? Why choose one when you can have all four!

A sexy snowy Christmas novella, these guys pulled out all the stops, I fell hard and fast for these four men, from their banter, to their loving, each had a role to play and they were perfection.

Oh. My. Fucking. Gosh.

To say that I devour this book would be an understatement! I have never ever felt hooked to a book before. I never even fucking knew that I would actually like and enjoy this genre.

Alec. Cole. Jace. Reed. I- I am turning into a baby and go goo-goo ga-ga on these fictional men. These men- just- four-single-handedly FALALALALA my fucking heart. I can't-

Alec with his wink and I love you in the epilogue.
Cole with his scowl and "mine"-growling
Jace with his dimple and tattoos and piercing
Reed with his smirk and "gimme"

Motherfu-

It was bold of me to assume that this book won't make it to my book-boyfriend shelf 🤓

I don't even know what to say other than this is actually so so good. It was fun, funny, surprising, sweet, hot, and spicy Christmas novella. It was also hands down my most favorite erotica read. GAAAAAAH. I fucking love this shit.

Props to the author for really took her time to built the plot!! Ugh, this book is just packed with 5 stars material;
☆ a great fucking plot
☆ ✨️ incredible character development ✨️
☆ a whole big-ass chemistry between all the mcs
☆ UNEXPECTED SLOW BURN 🔥🔥 (FML I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT)
☆ fun side character as well
☆ a scalding hot sex scenes

I love that the female mc is a non-cringey one. She's funny and jeez I love her sense of humor. I love that the guys aren't just a bunch of horny big assholes that couldn't wait to rail the girl, they are so packed!! Packed with an amazing their own quirks and characters, I think it's remarkable cause it made them so living! They're also packed with their own kinks, and if that ain't perfect idk what is bro. I love that they had a slow burn and a lot of underlying flirting at first, it worked so well in hooking and building the interest on this book.

This book was so fun that I never felt bored while reading it!!! I never even expect to see a very visible hard-lined plot in an erotic novella. my expectations were low, tbh. But goddamn, this book is just- ugh 😫🤌🏻

Please. Not another word. Just shut the motherfucking front door and pick up this book now!!!🤬😤

Light-hearted and hot af

I was not expecting much out of this book and got hit with a fun and enjoyable book? Like what? The audacity. 😆

The author somehow made a character that could have so easily fallen into the pit of being embarrassing and cringy, yet managed to pull off awkward, relatable and funny. Samantha was a great FMC. I’m bummed that there’s no more of her and the guys, that this book is all we have of them. And Elle? Her sister?! Amazing, give that girl a novel!!

The sex was ✨SPICY✨. For every “slut” thrown around by Reed, Cole was there to say “good girl”. The ultimate praise/degradation scenarios 🥰. This book was practically all sex y’all. It wasn’t a novella. It was a full length novel. And 75% of it was sex 😏. And yet- AND YET- I believed in the feelings developing between all of the guys and her. That’s the power of the forced proximity trope lol.

Oh yeah, it also has Xmas-y vibes! 🎄❄️🍪🎁

I'm rating this for what it was and that's a spicy good Christmas time. Four hot guys snowed in with you!? I had so much fun reading this and couldn't put it down! I loved how much all of the guys spoiled Samantha and it was adorable how real things turned when they had to go back to the real world. I would have loved a bit more time at the end, but this is a novella and that's just what you get. The characters were all so different from one another even though there wasn't too much time spent on each of them. I would have definitely read a full length book about all of these characters together! But if you want a super spicy holiday romance where they're snowed together, watch Christmas movies, bake Christmas cookies, and have a *good* time, pick this novella up!

Interior designer, Samantha, gets snowed in with her clients, Jace, Reed, Alec, and Cole. Each one rocking the Big D Energy, they seize the opportunity to feel out Sammy’s interest in a fun-filled weekend.

I had no choice, but to review this one, because I couldn’t reconcile a smutty why choose romcom combo. Rest assured, Trilina pulled it off in a big way.

I snaughled more times than I can count and yet, it features some of the hottest scenes I’ve read this year and will rank as one of the best why choose I’ve ever read.

I really appreciated the “every woman” heroine approach and found Samantha to be incredibly relatable in the broad sense.

Hands down a perfect holiday read!!

"Dear Santa, I’ve even been a very good girl this year. And all I want for Christmas is Alec, Reed, Jace, and Cole…without a pregnancy or an STD. Thank you."

This could've easily been a 5 star read for me if the protagonist wasn't so damn annoying. She rambled, stumbled around and said the most ridiculous stuff for no good reason. She was pulling the Not Like Other Girls and Quirky Girl tropes too hard. At first it was cute, but by the end I just wanted her to stop.

That being said, this book made me laugh out loud. And it was really hot. Perfect little novella to read during the holidays.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to me! This was… unexpectedly good 😅🥵. I laughed. I swooned. I got emotional. But I especially got heated in this deliciously $m#tt¥ book 🔥. I signed up for the extended epilogue, which was totally worth it (and wish it had been part of the book 😏).

2024 Reread
The audiobook is FREAKING AMAZING!! Not only is it duet narration, but the narrators are top-class 👏🏻. Troy Duran? 😮‍💨🥵Jason Clarke? 🫠🔥Connor Crais 👀 and Samantha Brentmoor too? I had to round up for picking an ensemble to die for

Samantha’s (32) an interior designer and gets snowed in while decorating for a client’s party. Well, clientS- Alec, Reed, Jace, and Cole (all 40 ish. Except Jace who’s almost 40). These men are hawt AF (duh 🤷🏻‍♀️) and are all different, except when it comes to the tension they build while hanging out with Sam👀.

At first she thinks she’s imagining things, but then the men take it a step further and let her know that they want her, and they’re willing to give up their “one-night only” rule for her and have her for this long holiday, snowed-in weekend if she wants.

And oh boy… does she want 👀😉

What I liked/loved:
—you guessed it, the 🔥. Jaaaaysus… this was… tension-filled, chemistry-filled, and 💦-filled goodness. We get first kisses at 15% and 20% percent (and lots of first as the book progresses) and I was craving each one. Yes, it’s RH, but we get individual moments with each of the guys, and well… lots and lots of sharing ones too 😉🥵. One thing’s certain- their ultimate goal is to pl€a$e Samantha, and do they ever 🥵. The first !nt!mate scene happens around 45% and full by 67%. There’s so much teasing and f0r€play, I was about to combust (I can only imagine Samantha👀), which leads me to

—the way they prepare Samantha. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. The care Jace takes to answer her questions and the way Alec assures her she only has to say stop and he’ll make sure it’s done was soothing to my soul 🥹. The other guys are great as well, but these two made it a point to stand out

—four guys, all different. I love when I read a book and I can differentiate between all the characters. When it’s more than one H, I always fear I’ll get them mixed up. Um… not with this book. Each guy was different in their own way, but they all had the same goal when it came to Samantha ❤️. Cole’s definitely the alpha 🥵. His presence alone can be an aphrodisiac. Jace’s the more playful one (and all about the praise k… and he calls her baby and cutie). Reed’s the d!rt¥ one (d€grad*t!on k) yet calls her sunshine and Alec’s the watcher, almost like the manager 👀😅😉

—the dirty talk 🥵. With all the praise and degradation kink came some filthy F I L T H Y mouths, not to mention the alphaness only dreams are made of. And their confidence 😮‍💨🤌🏻. My poor kindle barely survived 💦💦💦

—the swoony parts. ERMAGOD! I was surprised by the swoon I felt! Yes, I knew it was going to be 🔥, but I was not ready for all the sweetness I encountered. I even got emotional in certain scenes that were primal in the way they revealed their feelings ❤️

—give me alllll the RH and what it means please 💅. Yup. We get all the nitty gritty, d!rt!ness that come with an RH romance 💦😉🔥🥵. Samantha was worried about the mechanics of it all (so was I) and the guys sure put her at ease. I had no issues imagining the difference scenarios 😉🔥. I’ve recently read some RH books that we’re disappointing when it came to the doubling up on… well, you know 😉. Not here 😮‍💨. The extended epilogue has a factor not in the book 👀

—they’ve done this before- which means they know that Samantha is THE one. Good. She better be 💅 (I’ll add to this down below)

—the JPness. These guys get jealous of each other 👀😅. I know. Seems counterintuitive with an RH, but it still happens. These scenes were super delicious 😈 and very much satisfying 😮‍💨

—the 🤣🤣🤣 moments. Omg I totally giggled/laughed many times. This isn’t categorized as a romcom, but it definitely had the feel of one

—the awkward moments 🫣. Omg. Samantha 🫣😅🤣🤣🤣. I think I’d say stupid shit like her too 🤣😅🫣😬. Even the way she thought 😅. Like what goes where and who goes or does what… yeah. Same Samantha 🤣

What I didn’t like/wanted more of: spoilers ahead
—the way the book ended almost felt like a HFN versus HEA, just because of the feelings that are revealed. We get a better picture of their HEA in the extended epilogue (when you sign up for the author’s newsletter), but it wasn’t in the main book. I looooved the extended epilogue 🔥🔥🔥 but also 🥹❤️🥹❤️

—I would’ve liked to see more about the logistics after they’re official. Like who goes when… what do they say… what do they do… etc.

—while I liked that they’ve done this before, I still felt jealous that they had 🤣🤣🤣 I’m too jp myself… but I guess it shows that these guys can share 😒 (only with each other though💁🏻‍♀️)

Overall, I loved it. It was a great way to start the new year 😈

⚠️safety squad⚠️
-no cheating/owd
-sharing (it’s RH)
-praise kink/degradation kink/spitting/D-s/voyeurism/hand necklace/light primal kink (they chase her playfully)/DP galore and all the RH combinations/(extended epilogue: spanking/degradation/D-s/praise kink/DP/DVP
-the Hs get jp over her thinking of other men after 🤣. Or even each other 😅
-the guys have done this before (a gang bang)
-mild OMd- the h goes on a date after the Hs; they put him in his place (and so does the h’s sister 🤣🤣)
-no condoms/all clean and tested/she’s on the pill
-HEA (but has an HFN feel in the regular book but the extended epilogue has an HEA feel)/epilogue a year later

Notes for myself:
The author attacks another author because they also used the snowed in trope, like this fool can own the trope. If you can't even manage the understanding of what trope means, I'm pretty sure your writing is going to be disappointing. Nope.

Merry SMUTMAS TO ALL!! FA-LA-LA-LA-LA-HOOOOOOOOOOORNY. Tangled in Tinsel is a total riot- youll laugh till you cry, feel all warm and fuzzy….and watch out for those panties. This is the feel good, super spicy holiday romp we all need under our tree this year. Sexy, festive, and deliciously naughty- it's the perfect holiday treat!

Don’t let Trilina’s angsty backlist fool you- girl is HILARIOUS, and this book is uproariously funny. It’s the perfect mixture of spice and humor as our very hilarious “every woman” heroine finds herself snowed in with four very sexy older men, who just so happen to not only her bosses but very adventurous in their sexual tastes. It may be cold and snowy outside, but inside the sexual tension is scorching, and Trilina gives us a big ole sexy and fun LOVE SHACK of Christmas romping, and humping, and ho-ho-hoing. AND HOLY HOTNESS, not only is Trilina funny AF, but this book is DRIPPING in sexual chemistry and charisma. It’s so hot that it would melt even the iciest scrooge’s heart. These men are DELICIOUS. Who wouldn’t want to read a sexy story about four powerful, alpha, ridiculously dirty talking and hella sexy men who WORSHIP our heroine. And our heroine is just flat out hilarious- her internal monologue had me rolling.

This book is dirty, festive, and LOADS of fun. If you’re looking for something light and uber steamy, you’ll gobble this one right on up like a delicious plate of Christmas cookies. COMPLETELY YUMMY!

"You’re perfect under our touch."
I don’t usually jump on hype trains, especially when I don’t know the author and because I don’t have KU. However… MMMMF (yes, that’s four Ms) and Christmas? Sounded way too good to pass up.
I’m glad I didn’t.
This had all the sex, all the steam, all the fantasy, and brought on the feelings too. So, what more could I ask for?

"I’m more like a perverted Cinderella. I expire on Sunday at midnight, and I’m taking my shoes with me."
Samantha is an interior designer hired to Christmas-up a cabin for a client and his guests. While she’s there, however, there’s a blizzard, and it looks like she’s stuck there.
Stuck there with four hot-as-sin guys, who seem to be interested in having their way with her and worshiping her.
Now—who would say no to that?

"I can make it hurt so good," he groans before pulling back to look at me. "Just say please."
Before I go any further, let me say that I loved Trilina’s approach to this. The heroine is not described, so you can experience it fully and immerse yourself in the book and the story. Does it work? You bet it does.

"Princess, I don’t care what questions, stipulations, or terms you have. You can have whatever the fuck you want. Including the spotlight or my dick down Alec’s throat if that ensures me inside that pussy."
Four things made this a perfect read for me. One, there may be four guys there, but they’re very different in terms of personality and taste. Very distinct. So much so that yes, I do have a favorite, and a second favorite—and if you’ve read it, please let me know if you do too, and who it is!

"He’s standing in front of me, the guys surrounding me. Shadows cast between the dips of his muscles, making him feel powerful and intimidating. He isn’t, though. It’s the way he looks at me as if I’m the only person he sees. It’s overwhelming."
(this is a description of my personal favorite, but I’ve omitted the name)
The second thing is definitely the heroine. She’s not shy, she doesn’t play coy or act innocent. She has her fantasies, and by the looks of it, she’s had them for a while, and she’s not afraid to explore them and allow them to have her—because she wants to. I loved the interactions with each one of them—you see what each guy brings to the table and why each of them is important to her. Relatable? Hell, yes. I loved her.
Also, can we get her sister a book? Because that girl was something!

"You were right before, Samantha. We are animals. That means we play with our food before we eat it."
The third thing is obviously the sex. Spot. On. Not overly described, not trying to shy away from anything—perfect. Every hole is filled, multiple times, and you’re there for it (if you’re wondering, no crossing swords, by the way). They wait for her to tell them she wants it, and she does it in a rom-com-y way that just—fits. The way they’re all on the same page and wanting to just give in to everything was So. Freaking. Good.

"We’re fucked, Alec. Because if there’s a possibility to keep her…I’m not so sure I’m willing to share. And I’d venture to bet we’d each say the same."
The fourth and last thing? The feels. Because somewhere along the way, lines got blurry, and Samantha can’t simply choose one of them even if she wanted to. They all matter, they’re all hers. But they agreed to ride out the storm and be done with it. None of them was expecting to feel the way they do, to miss each other so much—and none of them knows exactly what to do about it, either.

"We’ve faced down side-eyes, angry fathers—mine—and curious questions. But at the end of the day, when the lights go out, it was always us. And that’s all that matters."
They all got more than they expected for Christmas. Who cares what people think if you feel it’s right? Did Samantha get her ‘fill’ of Christmas spirit (and so much more)? Yes, but she also got away with her perfect happily ever after, and that really is all that matters.
Looking forward to the next books now!

1⭐ for acting like you own the "snowed in smutty Christmas RH" trope, goodbye

_________________________________________________________

Original Review:
Did I hate this? No.
Was the writing (especially at the beginning) hard for me to get through? Unfortunately, yes.

Overall this was a cute + spicy Christmas read and I mostly enjoyed it for what it was. It wasn't my favorite because the guys all blurred together for me - except for the obligatory stoic one who "hates her" - so I probably wouldn't read again.
