Absolutely engrossing story of passionate love between two individuals who have feelings for each other but strive to deny them, but fate has other plans!

This story is very sweet. It it the story of Seth, and Cynthia. They have many issues to overcome, the story is very realistic, you can imagine it happening for real, which for me at least is very satisfying. I thought that the way everyone rallied round when Cynthia needed to be at home with her dying mother was lovely, something that does happen in small communities. It was a shame though that Linda and Suzy Crosswell, the owner of the bakery didn't settle their differences before Linda died. It was mentioned two or three times so I thought it was coming at the end, to add another layer to the story. Quite sad in places, but a satisfying read, worth 4.5 stars.

This book is one of the best I have read, I started crying in the middle and continued to cry throughout the rest of the book. This story picks up where the last Summit book left off and tells the story of Cynthia and Seth; however, it is totally different than the rest of her stories. You will get to catch up with some of the other characters you fell in love with in Elena's other books. I was not a fan of Cynthia, but this book changed my mind her back story touched me and left me loving her!
