Charlie Hebdo published cartoons mocking Muhammad (and every other religious figure). In January 2015, Muslims accordingly massacred the cartoonists there. Now a French Leftist, Alexis Trouillas, is coming out strongly for submission to Sharia blasphemy laws.
“[Video] ‘A weapon of mass destruction’: Charlie Hebdo accused of being an ‘evil newspaper’ at the demonstration in support of Imam Iquioussen,” translated from “[Vidéo] “Une arme de destruction massive” : Charlie Hebdo taxé de “journal malfaisant” à la manifestation de soutien à l’imam Iquioussen,” Valeurs Actuelles, September 3, 2022 (thanks to Medforth):
“Freedom for Iquioussen.” These were the slogans hammered out during the demonstration in support of Imam Hassan Iquioussen, a preacher expelled from French territory and on the run, this Saturday, September 3, in Paris. During the afternoon, many association leaders and activists spoke at the microphone, in front of the crowd. In these speeches, violent messages were delivered, in particular against Charlie Hebdo.
“I am not Charlie. This newspaper is evil. It is a weapon of mass destruction against our country,” for example declared Alexis Trouillas, member of the “Emergence” movement, filmed by a journalist from Figaro covering the rally.
The satirical newspaper, victim of an Islamist attack in 2015, was not the only one to be targeted by the invectives of the demonstrators. According to the videos of the journalist from Figaro, other media have also been singled out on several occasions. “The media are tracking us! Europe 1 is tracking us, it is my Islam that they are targeting!,” claimed in particular one woman, presenting herself as a spokesperson for the association “Muslim Perspectives.”
The Minister of the Interior has also been incriminated. “Darmanin, resign,” chanted the activists gathered in the capital on many occasions. They also denounced the policy of France, guilty, according to them, of “State Islamophobia.”

if charlie hebdo was international either on the internet or where, i would definetely have a subscription and be reading it….
it is no less than a magazine with balls and stomach….
as for the caricatures of mohamed, it is a free given right by the constitutions in most of the west untill today…. even if these constitutions decrease slowly….

Not sure if this is the entire magazine, but certainly a good place to start. 🙂

I never read Charlie Hebdo but I have read the Koran. I wonder if the woman speaking has read it. If she hasn’t read the Koran I wish she would and then make a speech about what she thinks regarding what is in the book. It would be interesting to see just exactly why she thinks those who say “I am not Muslim” should have nothing to fear. Then we could talk about good and evil.

Agreed, CogitoErgoSum.
One small point–Alexis Trouillas is a man. “Alexis” is often a man’s name in France.

The devil is sure busy. Would that he should tire out and give us all a break.

Screeds against Freedom

Lies
More lies
Mankind needs a break. And the mozlums just keep on with their abundant lies, while threatening the rest of us.
mozlums should be “tracked” because they pose a danger to all and
islam should be “targeted”…by everyone, until it is no more.

France: Leftist at rally for antisemitic imam says ‘I am not Charlie. This newspaper is evil.’
……………………………………….
So poking fun at the “Prophet” Muhammed–and Jesus, and priests, rabbis, imams, French politicians, Donald Trump, et al–is *evil*, but slaughtering cartoonists and journalists at Charlie Hebdo is not? Now *that* is evil. One doesn’t have to like all of Charlie Hebdo’s stuff–or *any* of their stuff–to realize this. All one needs is the barest moral sense and respect for freedom of speech. Calling a satirical newspaper a “weapon of mass destruction” could not be more perverse.
People all over the world said “I am Charlie!” in support of freedom of speech after the Jihad massacre at their offices. But we know where this Leftist thug stands saying “I am *not* Charlie”.

Yes, he is. He is also coming out for the unhinged hatred of Jews and the forced submission of women, because this is what Hassan Iquioussen preaches. And Iquioussen does not need to be “freed”–he is not going to be jailed–and is not jailed now; he appears to be on the lam–he is just going to be deported to Morocco, where he already holds citizenship. But these morons want him spewing his genocidal hatred in France itself.

Whatever happened to the “marketplace of ideas?” It seems that the “marketplace of ideas” was partly responsible for making the United States of America, the great country it once was.
Truth by its very nature is offensive. Throughout the history of man, we see those who spoke the truth, were mocked, ridiculed, imprisoned, tortured and murdered. Yeshua Ha’Mashiach was crucified by those who were deceived by the devil.
Evil is most definitely on the rise; I fear the situation is only going to get much worse
