Dr. Off Limits? I have a fever, and I think you might be the medicine I need.

I’ve sworn off men to focus on my dream job that starts on Monday. But my best friend talks me into a final night of fun—a blind date.

I only agree because the guy is going to work as a doctor in Africa.

It’s the best date of my life. Dr. Africa makes me laugh and swoon, and I want to give him a thorough physical examination.

He turns into Dr. One Night Stand, and I’m not sad about it.

Monday morning, I’m enthusiastic and excited, until I bump into...you guessed it.

Apparently Dr. Africa got his brother to fill in on our date, and now I work at the same hospital as the guy I got naked with on Saturday.

Did I mention he’s my new boss?

I need to go right to the emergency room and find a cure for my crush on Dr. Off Limits.

Nice story, but the female narrator...

is way too chirppy for the role. Her voice yanked me out of the story. I can see her being perfect for different roles though!

A fun British Grey's Anatomy

Sutton and Jacob meet when he fills in for his brother on a blind date set up by a friend. They hit it off monumentally in every way and end up having a scorchingly hot night together. They connected in a way that was surprising to both. But when Monday comes, Sutton and Jacob have the surprise of their lives: she finds out that he's the other Cove brother (not the doctor leaving for Africa) and he's basically her new boss at the prestigious hospital where she's starting her residency. Jacob is clearly in shock to see Sutton there. He hoped to see her again but definitely not under these circumstances. They're both career minded: she put herself through medical school by being a hairdresser and he's doing everything he can to live up to the Cove legacy in the medical field. Now, they're living the British version of Grey's Anatomy and McDreamy (now Dr. Off limits) doesn't want to give up his Meredith, but "Meredith" knows what dating him can do to her reputation.

A fun, low angst story set in a hospital in London, Dr. Off Limits was just what I needed. I love how the story develops and how the author doesn't create shenanigans to keep them apart.  The whole Cove gang is fun with their unique relationship and  great banter. Wonderful audiobook!

Narration: I love finding new narrators and Clare Corbett was a wonderful new discovery. I specially liked the parts where she is flustered and nervous. So good! Shane East seems to be the voice I immediately think of when I hear "British hero" and he gives all the steamy, sexy vibes while being the doctor battling between "Is  this ethic?" and "How do I keep her?". Great work from both!

Loved it

As with all Louise Bay books, I didn’t want it to end. This one was particularly to my liking as I work in an ER.

Very British, Indeed

A very lovely, very British Louise Bay story. The recording felt overclocked and too speedy..better at .90x. Shane East is extraordinary as always. Clare Corbett's Sutton is a bit too "young girl" sounding for me and sorry...she is not a pleasant narrator to listen to ( for me). A duet performance would have been perfect. I can see the books for Jacob's brothers coming down the pike soon. Louise Bay writes wonderful stories.

Thankful-Female Not Weak & Drama Filled

It was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT to listen to a story about a strong female character that wasn’t weak, sappy, filled with drama, and blaming the male character for doing her wrong by hurting her‼️ This was a great respite from the usual storylines, which were getting pretty monotonous‼️ Definitely worth a credit❣️

Dr. Off Limits: The Doctors Series Book 1

If it is one thing I can always count on when I read a Louise Bay story is that it will entertain me. No matter if it’s a standalone or part of a series, the world within the story has lead and secondary characters with such humor and wit that you just can’t help but smile throughout even when there’s conflict or angst. This particular story was low on the angst meter, but the feel-good meter was off the charts! I loved everything from the premise of the story to the meet-cute to developing romance journey and everything that comes in between! I especially loved that she wrote mature characters acting maturely. Now, you’d think that would be a given, but you would be mistaken LOL I read so many books where characters are around mid 30s to mid 40s but they’re actions never match. She nailed the age group in this story and truth be told, she almost always nails it!

As you can read, there’s no reason why everyone should not be reading this author all the time! Also, I’m gonna tell you a little secret … I have listened to just about every single story she’s written and every time that I do, my enjoyment jumps right past 5 star into infinity! The narrators that she chooses to bring her characters to life take on an already exceptional narrative and elevate it with their talent. I have yet to meet an audio I did not want to listen to multiple times! Narrators couldn’t do that if the story wasn’t already set up to allow them that liberty! FEEL ME? READ ALL LOUISE BAY BOOKS!! DO IT NOW! And start right here with Dr Off Limits, you’ll thank me later :)

🎧🎧 ON THAT NOTE: Shane East & Clare Corbett are an outstanding team and they did a wonderful job bringing this story to life! *heart eyes*
