5 star Review Broken Sparrow (Men of Inked: Heatwave #8) by Chelle Bliss AUDIO REVIEW: From the moment we were first introduced to Morris early in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series, he intrigued me. Now he is getting his own story and I couldn’t wait to dive in and I couldn’t wait to see what Chelle Bliss had in store for him. This story has it all, age gap romance, a hot alpha biker, a single mom with an adorable little girl as well as passion and heat. I knew that the woman who would bring him to his knees would be special and Alice Sparrow and her daughter Zoey are. My heart broke for everything that Alice has been through and her need to run from an abusive husband. Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor brought Morris and Alice to life for me. Samantha particularly expressed all the emotions of a haunted woman, scared and running. Jason Clarke is always easy to listen too. Their narration was spot on for these characters and engaging. From the moment that he sets eyes on Alice, he sees a woman who is in trouble, haunted and terrified. I loved how all in Morris was and how determined he was to protect Alice and Zoey. I fell hard and fast for Morris, such a swoon worthy, caring, protective and passionate man. Who knew under his gruff and hardened exterior beat the heart of a warrior? When they first met there was an instant connection and sparks flew but it was the care and compassion he showed to both Alice and Zoey that really melted my heart. This book is all about second chances, love and finding happiness when you least expect it. family. One click this little gem, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

Meet Alice and her daughter Zoey. Who are running away from an abusive and controlling man. When Alice meets Morris, tattooed, muscled and pretty scary to look at. But he's also a complete softie. Which he proves when he comes to Alice's rescue. Not once, but twice giving Alice not only money to buy a snack for her daughter. But providing her and Zoey a safe place to stay. However Alice isn't sure she can completely trust him, after all every man she's ever known has shown their true colours eventually. But Morris is different and with the support of his friend Tiny. The MC he belongs too and his new friend Leo . He's going to do everything possible to prove it. And with an almost insta love romance fantastic pacing, real characters, heat and emotion. Not to mention an adorable six-year-old. Who turns Morris into a pile of mush every time she talks princesses. This was a fabulous read and a terrific start to the Open Road series. And it's a story I would recommend to romance readers everywhere!

Broken Sparrow is about a woman, Alice, escaping her abusive husband with her young daughter in tow. Alice meets Morris, the VP of a motorcycle club, when she stops at a store for a quick bite to eat. They exchange numbers and she later calls him needing help. Morris helps Alice and her young daughter and falls for both of them really fast. The whole story plays out over a couple of days. While I totally enjoyed the story, the rate that they got together was a little too fast for me. This story moved really quickly and I read it in one sitting. It was pretty good and I plan to read the other books in the series soon.
